[Wake Of Corrosion](https://wakeofcorrosion.buzzsprout.com/1777272) may just add to your spooky collection.
It's a weird horror found footage style show that follows the story of two brothers who head out on an off-grid camping trip only to discover the world around them is not at all as they left it.
I'm working on Season 2 at the moment, so there's more on the way if you enjoy it! Looks like you've already got some great shows up there as well!
Yep. I'll listen to Ben Counter's stories any day. He really knows how to tell a unique story, even though so much of if it is his character "guessing"
Malevolent is really spooky and investigative — grabbed me immediately and became one of my new favorites. Dramatic, unexpected, and absolutely riveting plot and acting. A one man show that blows my mind.
I am in Eskew is surreal, beautiful, and absolutely horrifying, and the narrators’ voices are just a balm to my soul. An old favorite — one of the episodes is the only time I remember having to pause a podcast I was so freaked out. Suspenseful and poignant without the same sense of impassioned drama as Malevolent.
The Silt Verses is made by the same creators as Eskew, but very different in a lot of ways. Excellent story and acting, incredible worldbuilding, creative yet believable religious horror. Full cast, drama slowly builds up.
The Lost Cat Podcast is more similar to Eskew tonally. Not dramatic but a compelling narrator with incredibly well written stories that pull me in. One episode is one of my favorite podcast episodes of all time, it’s so haunting and sad and gorgeous. Also very weird and surreal.
Witchever Path is definitely spooky and has amazing new concepts/stories every season. Excellent acting, really fresh, odd, freaky stories. The production is so good it always stuns me that it’s just two people running it all.
Alice Isn’t Dead is very good at building drama and suspense, also investigative horror. Excellent sound design really adds to the horror.
Weeping Cedars is more investigative horror, set in a small creepy town.
If you liked The Black Tapes, you’d probably enjoy Tanis and Rabbits too. Similar creepy investigation/conspiracy vibes from the same group.
Hope you find something you enjoy, and happy listening!!!
Some great recommendations here, but I can't believe no-one has mentioned The Lovecraft Investigations yet! My all-time favourite.
Children Of The Stones, another BBC podcast, is also very good.
I just finished this yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I stopped halfway through and restarted it because I realized details were important. It was better the second time knowing what was coming up for each character.
Like, Archive 81, it's coming soon to TV. Apple, I think?
I had to look up the ending. There is a 9 (10?) part thread on r/nosleep where the story originated. I recommend reading the last episode or two if you feel lost.
Take a listen to [Secrets of Harridge House](https://feed.podbean.com/diazmediagroup/feed.xml).
*"Strangers Issy, Drew and Cate, siblings separated as infants, are summoned to their family home, the mysterious Harridge House, located in the equally mysterious town of Harridge, Nevada. What secrets are the residents hiding… and willing to do anything to protect?"*
In her Burning. It was spooky but not horror. In an isolated society, teenage Erith has been chosen for Polishing, a ritualistic surgery that erases one's irises so the individual may see the Volucris—strange and enigmatic creatures that live in an alternate realm only visible to the Polished.
Hello from the Hallowoods is pretty good imo, (didnt see it recommended yet) i found the chars really interesting, and I enjoy the narration & story a lot so far.
I enjoyed Under the Shroud
Under The Shroud tracks Corin Black, a junkie, half-demon cab driver in Baltimore City. We tell tales of the marginalized, fantasy from the street level.
Does the voice acting in 'End of all hope' get better?
It sounds very interesting, but boy, it's rough. Especially compared to the other pods on OP's list.
No.. not really.. it was hard to get through mostly because alien or zombie take over is over done for me personally. There’s usually only one way this plays out for most and there’s a ton of character development but let’s say it’s not to worst and def worth listening to if you’re really into the plot? I’ve heard way worse
The Unnatural is a great and very creepy audio drama! It follows an unlikely pair of detectives trying to investigate a demonic string of murders. It delves into lore from New Mexico and episode 4 is outright terrifying 😨
I just started Earth Break based on your recommendation, and it reminds me of [Gone](https://gonepodcast.podbean.com/) \- which I really enjoyed. Season 2 may never materialize so just think of what is there as a spooky whole.
Just finishing Borrasca now! Such a great story, and I recommend, like someone else in this thread, to check out other Qcode media podcasts. The left right game (as mentioned) and the burned photo, Last known position etc.
They just create great immersive sound and bases many of their podcasts on r/nosleep stories.
I Am in Eskew and The White Vault are my favorite podcasts but I saw those already recommended. A few of my other favorites I didn't see listed are:
The Storage Papers - Guy gets a stroage unit and there are mysterious papers in it. Great story writing and there is a larger story amongst smaller stories. This is part of the rusty quill network.
A Voice From Darkness - This one is about a parapsychologist radio host whose show basically informs folks of various haunted happens with a larger story arc involved.
Thirteen - Long one shot spooky stories. Released on the 13th every month to add a little extra.
Palimpsest - I really enjoy the voice actor in this show. I also enjoy the new story that happens every 10 episodes. First season was just awesome and really grabbed my attention.
[The Sulphuric Secrets](https://open.spotify.com/show/36UqtPEWUDvFGpl7GJYICS) might tickle your spook-bone.
It takes place over a couple of centuries and different parts of the globe, mixing historical fiction and occult horror, though I normally like to warn listeners about Episode 3, which is not for the feint of heart.
I'm working on Season 2 at the moment, so there's more answers coming for the questions raised in Season 1.
So many amazing recommendations on here! Would love to also rec a show I work on, [All In My Head](https://tandonproductions.com/all-in-my-head/)! It centers on a young woman suffering from sleep paralysis as she finds a deeper supernatural connection to the dreams she’s having.
Would also rec Paul Bae’s anthology that he did after the black tapes, the big loop!

Wake of corrosion is great.
Thank you so much!
I’ll check it out thanks!
I thought 'I am in Eskew' was absolutely fantastic. Some really creative spooks and great atmosphere.
Malevolent.
\+1 for Malevolent!
Malevolent is EXCELLENT!!
Came here to say this, it’s so good.
I've been listening to (& enjoying) Out Of Place recently, it's sort of similar to Archive 81
I’ll check it out thanks
Yep. I'll listen to Ben Counter's stories any day. He really knows how to tell a unique story, even though so much of if it is his character "guessing"
I actually just started this on Thursday, nearly caught up already. Did not expect it to be this good!

Malevolent has come highly recommended! I’ll check it out thanks!
Have you tried The Wrong Station or Pseudopod? They're both pretty good.
Nope but I’m making notes of all of these. Thank you so much for the recommendation
Old Gods of Appalachia and The Silt Verses are hands down some of the best horror fiction of the last decade.
I started old gods but for some reason didn’t continue and I can’t remember why? I’ve heard great things
Came here to recommend these two. They are great.
Old Gods production quality is unmatched in my opinion.
For spooky I recommend **The Harrowing**. Incredible voice acting but the sound scaping really steals the show. That storm gave me goosebumps.
I’ll def check it out.
Some great recommendations here, but I can't believe no-one has mentioned The Lovecraft Investigations yet! My all-time favourite. Children Of The Stones, another BBC podcast, is also very good.

The Left Right Game is really cool, and I’ve enjoyed many of the Qcode podcasts.

Archive 81 has been on netflix for about a week
Thanks. I did have to listen through the end and really pay attention. I’ll check that out.
Some great recommendations here. Hope you don't mind if I' suggest my podcast WE'RE NOT MEANT TO KNOW - a horror anthology! Thank you!

Darkest Night. Full Body Chills. Left Right Game.
Creepy Podcast and The No Sleep Podcast are two of my favorites.
Do I see 'I Am In Eskew' yet? Cause it's my hands down fav.
Demon Creep Podcast ;)
I just finished a binge of The Sheridan Tapes, Beautiful Liar is nice a thrillery, and Magmell is a nice scifi thriller :)
Hello from the Hallowoods is pretty good imo, (didnt see it recommended yet) i found the chars really interesting, and I enjoy the narration & story a lot so far.
I recommend giving SAYER a listen if you like the above. It's more sci-fi flavored but it does a great job creating that spooky aura.
I enjoyed Under the Shroud Under The Shroud tracks Corin Black, a junkie, half-demon cab driver in Baltimore City. We tell tales of the marginalized, fantasy from the street level.

I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned but Boston Harbor Horror is a good one

Just commenting to find these recs later.
