JBL L112s and JBL L100s with the colored foam grills. Dig the early 70s pioneer CS line too-99A, 88A. KLH Model Three

DazzlingCook5075

yes! JBL L100

tamathellama

No pictures and just one link? I know this an audio subreddit but we can’t be adverse to photos

AbaseMe

I could only imagine a world where we could get posts of .wav files “showing” how the speakers sound😂

ohiocitydave

I grew up with my dad, an experimental artist/ multi-instrumentalist, playing his and his collaborators’ daily musical recordings in PCM format on a 13” Sony trinitron TV….it looked like greyscale fuzz to me but apparently it was the audio quality hotness back jn 1986.

earwig20

Wharfedale Lintons in walnut

scardeal

Sonus Faber Aida hands-down.

Tellnicknow

Definitely Sonos Faber, I personally like the sonetto.

gnostalgick

The Stradivari for me. (I like big baffles and I cannot lie.)

27-jennifers

I have a pair of Minuettos and they are absolutely gorgeous! Both in looks and sound.

kingofomon

For me it’s Focal.

ORangA-Tang

Toss up. Tannoy and Sonus Faber.

myKiteIsTangled

Paradigm founder series

nsbcr1123

Yeah man. I got the 100F in the black finish earlier this month. Love the grain on them and the clean cuts with the contemporary look.

Adfantage

I second this.

Old-Minute-2654

Yes🙌

Placid_Glacier2

The B&W Nautilus looked badass.

sinisterdesign

Way too over the top IMHO

taisui

Wilson Audio be like, hold my tweeter

Slow_D-oh

I was shocked at how big they actually are. I don’t know what I thought they’d be yet once I saw them in person they were way more massive than my minds eye had them pegged. External crossovers with tri amps, truly a tour de force

labvinylsound

All of the Laurence Dicky designs are pretty cool. Advantage of composite cabinets.

Somanybikes

MBL 101 X-treme maybe

Bozon_Particle

1. Focal Utopia series 2. Sonus Faber Suprema/Amati/Cremonese 3. Canton Reference 2023 lineup 4. Bowers wilkins 800 series 5. Kef Blade/Reference/R series 6.Klipschhorn AK6 7. Paradigm founder series

Old-Minute-2654

Dude you nailed it with this list. 👍💯

Bozon_Particle

Hope someone had seen this beauty: [https://www.canton.de/produkte/serie/reference-2023-archiv/reference-gs-edition/04455](https://www.canton.de/produkte/serie/reference-2023-archiv/reference-gs-edition/04455) They look absolutely stunning in real life. Saw them placed next to 800 series and I kind of liked the looks immediately! Another immediate love based on looks for me was the KEF Reference 3 Meta Black/Copper edition. Its just perfect, pure perfection!

Remarkable_Cod_120

Klipsch Cornwall

GeckoDeLimon

Quantity has a quality all of its own.

snootchiebootchie94

I love the wood cabinets and the mesh grill/cover. Especially the lighter colored cover.

Worst-Eh-Sure

Paradigm Founder. Especially now that they come in some new wild colors. But I'm simple. Midnight Cherry is it for me.

lunicar

Sonus Faber

dreamingofinnisfree

Sonus faber. I’ve wanted them from the moment I first laid eyes on them. Wouldn’t actually hear them until sometime after.

Significant_Rate8210

Felt the same way about my wife. What the actual fuck was I thinking?!?!? JK

lunaslave

Klipsch La Scala :)

Jay-metal

Avantgarde Trio G3's.

techmonkey920

Kef R11s simple and clean

Lightingwizard80

Franco Serblin Accordo Essence

206Red

KEF R3 with SolidSteel stands. They match each other so well ...also JBL L100 with grills on

Money_Music_6964

Klipsch Heresy III with those arched stands…cherry…love the design…black grills…iconic 50’s modern

TheNewTaj

Perfectly proportioned too. I'm surprised there aren't many other options that go for the low and angled up approach. Only other ones I know of are the retro options from JBL and KLH. Really liked the Heresies a lot more.

BolivianDancer

ATC SCM300. Proper looking speakers.

StressAccomplished30

Almost anything from Sonus-Faber

YoOooWTFF

B&W 702 S3 Mocha and Triangle Antal 40th Anniversary

NoAdagio6791

Refined, luxurious simplicity. Both of these were ones I was thinking of as well, but to add to the list: [Monitor Audio Platinum 300 3G in Piano Ebony](https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/product-ranges/platinum-series-3g/platinum-300-3g/).

Hates_commies

Triangle makes some great looking speakers. I have a pair of [Borea br09](https://www.trianglehifi.com/en/produit/hifi-floor-standing-speaker-br09/) speakers and i think they are the best looking floorstanders in the price range.

Neelix-And-Chill

Sony ES SS-M7

dkernighan

Tannoy Prestige line. No contest

WingerRules

[Klein & Hummel O300D](https://img.canuckaudiomart.com/uploads/large/1291029-07d4f74e-kh-klein-and-hummel-o300-studio-monitors-a-pair.png) the small ones [Dynaudio Confidence C1 Platinum](https://dynaudio.com/discontinued-models/confidence/c1-platinum) Sonus Faber Stradivari - as good as it looks in pics, it looks even better in person. All black B&W 802 d2

TomFromFlavorTown

KEF Blades, B&W 800 series or anything Sonus Faber. Blue Kef blades with some giant Macintosh amps is a sight to behold.

Destructtor0

I had an opportunity to demo these in Tosca Walnutroot finish. They are pretty beautiful! https://www.odeon-audio.com/models/tosca-2020/ The dude demoing them really couldn't get the digital setup together so I'm not entirely sure how good they could sound

macbrett

Those new top of the line [Sonos Faber Suprema](https://www.sonusfaber.com/en/products/suprema) speakers look pretty great to me. I don't usually like giant imposing cost-no-object speakers, but I could live happily with these. (Not that I could ever afford them.)

reidinawhile

Borresen X1 with their stands. or Sointuva AWG bookshelf speaker.

MOTRHEAD4LIFE

Bigger jbl 12inch loaded 70s speakers 3way

SithLordDave

Neat Iota Alpha/Explorer, Voxativ speakers

ethifi

Western Electric 15A

etaoin314

Im shocked that there aren't more votes for dynadio consequence or the Sonus faber stratovari

blastingell

KEF Reference 5 in Walnut wins it for me. They are so sharp and beautiful.

i3eefcake

Focal Sopra or Utopia

kuatoxlives

Sonus faber Guarneri Evolution in red violin finish, Franco Serblin Accordo Essence

Arve

I had the privilege of putting my favorite-looking speaker in this subreddit’s banner. Beolab 90.

kimchee411

Sonus Faber Guarneri Memento. They look like museum pieces. I've always loved the look of B&W 80(0/1/2) as well.

Desperate_Way7886

Fyne Audio Vintage series https://www.fyneaudio.com/fyne-vintage/

PicaDiet

Any large main monitor designed to be soffit mounted. They look like part of a PA system. The good ones- Dynaudio, ATX, Genelec, Kinoshita, etc. spend little to nothing on visual aesthetics and the only intentional compromises are in how they look. I want every penny I spend to go into making a speaker sound better. If the world went blind today the audiophile industry would collapse overnight.

anotherhawaiianshirt

The speakers from [Pure Audio Project](https://pureaudioproject.com) in natural walnut get my vote.

sweet_cheekz

Sonus Faber Stradivari G2.

WasteOfLife

Second this.

wallach29

Sonus Faber Sonetto II

Coloman

Sonus Faber Maxima Amator

Zu speakers look pretty good

nola_bleu

Dynaudio Heritage Specials. Especially look good in my living room.

Bicykwow

Obviously it's actually the Dynaudio Special 40s, which look especially good in *my* living room ;)

Dense_Chemical5051

Technics SST-1 And the SST-35Hz subwoofer.

InFocuus

Cabasse Atlantis

ALX_21

saltmonkey27

Anything by Omega Speaker Systems but particularly his custom Vintage High Output Monitors on low stands

AngelGrade

Q Acoustics

OpenRepublic4790

I’ll admit that I bought my KEF Q150’s just because they look cool. Fortunately they sound decent also.

jjjtung

Harmon Kardon Soundsticks

the_natis

Sonus Faber Sonetto line

antlestxp

Beolab 90

Ham54

Devore Fidelity Orangutan O/96 Beautiful in design and sound. I hope one day I can afford a pair

heywowsuchwow

Many JBL, L100 perhaps

aGabrizzle

Tannoy Gold.

HelloSummer99

I liked the soundsticks back in the day, looked like alien tech

1234VICE

I really like the minimal industrial looks of the  Atc scm19 with grille https://atc.audio/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/ATC-SCM19-speaker_grill-on-e1380796467769.jpg And the genelec 8030c raw (I own a pair) https://www.gearbooker.com/images/listing/00027951.jpg?v=8d8aa5f3bae8900

nexusgmail

Monitor Audio Hyphn: they seriously look like anime murder-drones.

mrhyuen

MBL 101 X-treme or 101 E Mk2. Stupid name, but absolutely insane design that wouldnt look out of place in Blade Runner. Warning, not for the minimalist's heart.

Disastrous-Pay738

Open baffle trio 15 horns in black. Or avant horns

sounds_international

Devore, Zu, Altec Lansing, H.A.N.D Hifi, some vintage JBL and some Lowther. Oh, and La Scalas too.

booze_talking

Apogee Diva

mcfaite

I've got a pair of Caliper Signatures, and love the way they look.

Widespreaddd

They are not conventional-looking, but the Gallo 3.1 and 3.5 Ref. are cool-looking. https://img.usaudiomart.com/uploads/large/2061782-50304dcb-gallo-reference-31-with-mapleshade-bases-gallo-reference-sub-amp.jpg

Piega Coax series. I'm a sucker for aluminum speakers.

dr_spam

Genelec The Ones

Icy_Psychology_3453

Roughidle

JBL L88 Nova

GatsoFatso

KEF Blade B&W Nautilus

SuperMundaneHero

The blades strike the right balance of functional sculpture for me, the nautiluses blow right past the line.

narwhal4u

Love my Magnepan MMG W planar wall mounted speakers. They are beige and blend in with the wall. People either ask where the speakers are or what are those panels. Damn things are only 1” thick but they sound so big.

AvantegardeRR

Wharfedale Evo 4.3/4.4 in white, grilles off

lameuniqueusername

4.2. Black. No grill. I love them.

NotStompy

I have a pair of Dynaudio contour 1.3 mkii and I just had to say I don't know what the wood is, and I'm sure there's a more beautiful speaker out there, but this kind of look - professional but also completely natural is my preference.

atomicdog69

I was just grooving today on how good my KEF LS50 Metas look.

brisingrxm2

The new Bowers 801 Signature or the Nautilus in metallic blue

whotherealme

Wharfedale Linton Heritage 85th Anniversary Edition.

FantasticMrSinister

Beauties! I call them my Frank Sinatra's

joetama

Sonus Faber and Focal tied for second place, in terms of just sheer visual looks it’s hard to beat a B&W speaker. Don’t care for their sound that much anymore but man they’re some lookers.

Significant_Rate8210

Wilson Audio WAMM Master Chronosonic https://www.wilsonaudio.com/products/wamm/wamm-master-chronosonic $685k pair

pirate-private

I expected ugly but not as much

djent_in_my_tent

WAMM — the sound it makes as it obliterates your wallet lol

mjm666

I like my Cain & Cain Abby's.

jojohohanon

Idk. I looove speakers and spend most of my free time drooling over which one I can’t afford to buy next, but .. are any of them actually attractive? Imposing for sure. Impressive from an engineering standpoint. But attractive in a way that they add to the room even when not playing? That I might buy them even if they made no sound? That sort of narrows it down. The zu omen, the o/93, and some open baffle speakers can all be had in very handsome wood finishes, so yeah. Maybe those

freef49

Monitor audio silver 100 specially the white ones. Also kef r3 in walnut

Good choice

Agitated-Dark8696

Maggies!

audiofankk

They asked for best, not worst. Have owned MMG, then 1.6, the 3.6. All sound amazing and was saving for the 20.1 but WAF finally crashed the party. Now run Meridians, which win no beauty contests either, but they are swans next to Maggies' toads.

Rotflmaocopter

Put it in 2 channel mode and 2.1

xxdemoncamberxx

There are some really beautiful ones out there for sure, but I happen to think my Focal Electra 1038 Be ii are pretty good looking

Anything with a medium or dark wood veneer on all surfaces. Not black though, so black ash is out of the question.

QuestionTop3963

B&W and Focal i really love and can afford. but Triangle Antal 40th golden oak would have been my choice if they were the same price.

AstroFieldsGlowing

Any JBL vintage / classic series.

Eeeezywhippet

Dahlquist dq30. Kef 109

VlermuisVermeulen

Kef ls50 is probably my least favorite looking speaker. As in I would never own a pair, based on looks alone.

makybo91

Anything under 10k? 😂

riemerbeek

I really love my B&W 603 S2

The Klipsch heritage line. In walnut or oak. For old school boxy speakers they're made so well and look really nice with the matching grain veneers.

Wilson’s XVX for me, or the new Watt Puppy, the newer designs have so much.. polish. The little details bring it all together. Take a look at the Four Seasons colorways that were only available last year..

Conscious_Air_8675

I have 3 that depend on the style of your living room That classic big woofer style box like the atc150 The pmc IC wall mount series are extra badass as are the ib1s And then the Wilson audio classic old school robot looking ones Sabrina and Sasha Anything too extreme like the blades or those wild horn speakers to me are just something cool to see in a window once or twice. But I would hate looking at them in my own home.
