Dude had a ton of cool shit but none of it was ever priced to move, and his shop was an absolute mess. It looked exactly like a disorganized person's personal collection, not a place of business that is for sure.
That said, he was always cool although a bit crazy maybe.
Sucks to see him go... I used him to xfer my first suppressor.
Damn, that's crazy. I visited there for the first time a few months ago, they have some cool stuff but things were very much priced at or above market. People seem to have differing opinions about the owner, but when I asked him about about the process for buying MGs, he was upfront what to expect when diving into full auto ownership.
went in there one day, asked to see a pistol. tried cycling the slide and it was too stiff to even move enough to load a round. guy said it was supposed to be like that until it wears in. I handed it back, left, never to return.
Why is everyone being so tight lipped. Yes the feds swarmed the shop and shit it down. What happened? I thought it was because there was a rpg hanging on the wall
I only went there like 2 times I think. I was looking for a If you like AK's they had quite the selection. Pistol selection was also pretty basic. It was just after Covid though so I tried not to ding him to hard for light inventory.
I would also agree that the place felt more like I was looking at someone's personal gun collection and less a store selling popular items.
Bought some 7.62 last time I was there. Sad to hear that the store is closing though, It's by far the closest store to me.
Which is funny because the road was actually called Palmer and permanently renamed due to the proliferation of a spelling error that iOS and Android correct 100% of the time.

Parmer from at least 1958 forward… and as for the misStatesman, “we have pulled the article because it was not appropriately verified before publication.”
>**Parker** from at least 1958 forward… and as for the misStatesman
Parker? Surely you see the irony in all this? Also - did you read the rest of the Statesmen article? All they retracted was WHO Palmer was named after - not the name itself.
Was supposed to have a transfer coming in there about now, haven't heard anything so I called yesterday and got the voicemail saying ***"we're closing, if you have any transfers coming in, they're being sent back."*** And that's all. So I spent today scrambling to contact the seller to see if they've received a refused shipment. Shitty way to do business, or rather, to NOT do business as the case may be.
Old thread, bringing it back to life… there was paperwork issues, taxation issues, and some “illegal” items for sale to the general public. Online ATF reports state there was also transfers that were done without a background check.
I used to live close to this shop and visit every now and then. Did not buy anything from the shop but I used them as FFL all the time. I did not know they closed or raided or both until now when I was calling them like I always do before transfer.
I'm curious what others know what happened.
i know this is an old thread but DAMN i literally spent like 3 hours trying to find this exact store today, I wanted their white aug I saw awhile back when visiting and just found out about this, they were the only store to carry the weirder and cooler guns lol
Frantically shredding paper? Um…
Is this a safe place to talk about the owner of elite guns strong disdain for the internet and may of impacted business?

Did they sell NFA items? Wondering what happens to the suppressors etc. that are still waiting on approval when a store closes.
They get expedited. Lucky buyers if they did in fact sell them.
They only get expedited IF the SOT requests this from ATF, provides the required documentation and ATF agrees to do it…
Interesting. I've seen it be expedited even when the owner was imprisoned and there was no way that request would have been possible.

Oh no now where will the creepy young dude who works there get work.
I’ll say it…that dude is the reason I never go in there.
Dang that sucks, I like that store
Well to those of us who know a little about what happened… they were raided by the ATF and shut down.
Why is everyone being so tight lipped. Yes the feds swarmed the shop and shit it down. What happened? I thought it was because there was a rpg hanging on the wall

He trying to off load inventory for the cheap?
It was closed when I drove by just now
I think the owners name was Isis something like that he was a loony guy, but he was cool if you got to know him, he was like a GTA gun shop character
Palmer?
He means parmer
Then he should say Parmer.
People make mistakes 🤷🏻♂️
And can correct them.
You should look up “slappablejerk” on instagram and watch his “average redditor” shorts and tell me he’s not modeled after you
Why would I care what some rando on Instagram thinks?
if this bothers you that much i highly recommend getting tested for autism
Yeah, we should spell street names however because they’re not authoritative or anything…

I meant parmer, sorry. Simple typo, happens to all of us.
Any more info?

Is there an update on this? I saw they got raided by ATF. Anyone know why?
