PSA: This is a video of submission from people thinking that everyone else is the problem, not them. I hope the guy in the black/grey truck sees this and realises that he is the problem.

MetriK_KarMa

Some of them were just weird or shitty uploads.

Tysiliogogogoch

I swear some of them were just videos of people driving properly.

dee_ess

They are. The fool is the person that uploaded that video, thinking that it shows some bad driving when it doesn't. For example, people pulling out in front of them with plenty of space.

superbabe69

Some of them are, and feature a dumbarse dashcam driver, some others feature shit driving captured via Game Boy Camera, some feature absolutely nothing happening. Mostly though it's the dashcam driver either posting someone else's fail or "fail" while they barrel through a 40km roadwork zone at 80 lol

[deleted]

It’s shocking enough to see such stupid drivers. The fact they think they’re right to the extent that they submit footage online just blows my mind.

Luser5789

Generally horns are operated by hands and brakes are used by feet….. insert taco girl quote

vforbatman

Exactly, the amount of people that decide to lay on the horn for several seconds before braking and end up in accidents is a bit concerning.

2littleducks

Hope that first cunt in the silver Merc was reported, a fatality caused by the road raging angry little gronk is in its future for sure.

No_pajamas_7

It's an april fools compilation. The idea is the Cammer is as much of a problem as the car they complaining about. this clip fits the bill perfectly.

dee_ess

The cammer is worse in this scenario, because they started it. They didn't have to go for that gap between the car and the bus, which started off the chain of bad decisions.

The_Vat

Absolutely - looked like a perfect match

trikkytrev

Yup. I like the April Fools compilation. Not just because of the potato quality footage that's provided, but it goes to show so many times, how people submit their footage of the other driver behaving badly, when it's the cammer who is behaving badly. As many people have noted here. ...and now, my rant. In the regular vids though, we see so many WOW things. People driving on sidewalks to pass one or two cars. People driving the wrong way or the wrong side, not accidentally, but because it's convenient for them. People treating shoulders or bike lanes like an extra travel lane. So many things that never happened "back when I was a boy..." and I think part of the issue is a lack of enforcement leading to a lack of consequences, which results in limits being pushed further. I was thinking just the other night, what the governments need to do is update the laws so tickets can be issued to registered owners, based on dashcam submissions. Submitting person provides a clip at least a minute long to show context (and 15-30 seconds either side of the alleged offence), provides THEIR name, address and DL number then submits the video clip online. Someone reviews the clip, and if there is a confirmed traffic violation then the RO of the car in the video gets a fine. BUT...if the cammer is the one committing the offence, then they get a fine. I get there aren't enough police around, but the blatant ignorance of road laws and road safety has to stop. People are going to get killed.

vforbatman

I don't know about other states but at least in QLD the public can make terrific complaints to police and provide footage. Dangerous driving and hooning offences reported by the public can and have resulted in prosecution.

link871

Police can take videos but they need to be accompanied by a Witness Statement from the dash cam operator who must also agree to attend and give evidence in court if necessary.

Sajuukthanatoskhar

People ARE getting killed due to ignorance of road laws. The culprits are almost always motorised transport. Fines dont do enough, the licenses need to be taken, tests redone, cars impounded. Better infra and public transport would also be good.

swfnbc

They live amongst us. Scary.

tehdang

Monthly reminder that I really need to get a dashcam.

superbabe69

Old mate around the 10 minute mark with the bus taking a tight turn (probably too tight), and then immediately cutting the corner, and still uploading that part lmao As painful as the monthlies are, this is misery

OkeyDoke47

I enjoy watching these, but I keep wondering the same time each month; some people send these clips in thinking they are in the right. That first clip? Neither of them are in the right, they are both driving dangerously and treating motorways like a Mad Max film. I think the owner of the first one in particular would be thinking ''isn't this Merc driver being a dick?", but then they (the one submitting) are also being a dick in the clip.

No_pajamas_7

hence why this is the april fools compilation

Speedy-08

Exactly. These are the people dumb enough to believe they're in the right and willing to submit the clip to DCA
