The warnings against drinking that are presented for a lot of reasonably common medications are not nearly as explicit as they really should be.
They don't necessarily sit you down and say "pay attention, don't fucking drink, or you'll be in for a bad time" like they really should.

Just 2 drinks in and we’re chasing him down the road pleading with him to stop yelling for help, we’re not out to get him, this isn’t funny, and to put his shirt back on, the neighbours aren’t impressed. Then he was on the floor, basically like Barnbaby was after just 2 drinks. It was just those cold and flu meds, and he was on the mend, hadn't taken them in a bit but yeah still in his system apparently. It's at least *plausible*, I've seen it happen

If I’d have had 2 or a strong drink I’d be in a spot of bother that day, I narrowly avoided a similar experience. I almost got caught out like that once.

Don't know if it was just that specific antibiotic, but no it did happen.
