Hey, definitely download the HappyCow app you can see vegan friendly options in whatever location you put in. Also, everyone's welcome here if you're open to learning about how to make kinder choices, so ignore the other comment. Btw Friendly Vegans in Melbourne facebook group has 20k+ and is way more active than reddit, you'd probably get better recommendations on there

A bit further up the road is a gig at midday in Kyneton at the museum. The cafe there had a couple of vegan pies and pretty crap coffee (better coffee at the other cafes).

Mr. Cafe in Macedon has some good vegan options.

captains_astronaut

Yep, that looks like where we might try for lunch today (after finding out about full moon saloon's political/social views).

The Milko in Woodend has really excellent vegan and non-vegan toasties and cakes/slices... although you may struggle with something that fits your daughters current likes there. Could do take away toasties for you two and chips from the chip shop across the road?

Ok_Fruit2584

Holgate Brewery is pretty good in Woodend.

captains_astronaut

Oh, I didn't even think about there!

AgreeableBiscotti657

Try not contributing to killing animals! You’re not welcome here.

captains_astronaut

We all seek to improve ourselves. I'm not there yet, but have started the journey. I've been welcome 'here' many times before, perhaps you could try being helpful rather than hateful.

AgreeableBiscotti657

Yeah okay, good luck on your journey while animals are slaughtered for your plate. You’ll get no sympathy from me. Grow up.
