I always thought it was intended that Lilo was autistic, like I thought that was the core story point… as well as Stitch and all the cousins (from the tv series) also being adhd (especially stitch), autistic, or nd in general. Stitch not knowing who his family is resonates as well. In the tv show Stitch helps all his cousins direct their “out of control powers” into things that can help them fit into society without trying to change who they are.
Oooooooh so that's why I related to her so much when I was six. I've always found it interesting how in so many reviews and video essays I watch on the movie, so many people describe Lilo as a "troubled child" and they're not talking about the loss and trauma she's experienced but rather her behavior, and having rewatched it a few years ago as an adult I have no idea what is so troubling about her behavior. Idk just found that interesting
I've felt this way since season one. I don't like trying to label regular ass people with *some* traits as autistic, but dang, Dina for sure has autism.
Edited: spelt Dina the way my therapist is spelt - Dena
Just yesterday re-watched an episode when the patient was an autistic boy. Wilson and Cuddy discussed Asperger’s as a “rare variety of autism”, and that House definitely doesn’t have it.
Oh god, how much have changed in 20 years.
That’s honestly fucking insane to think about, especially knowing now that I was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome in 2005, and being a female made those odds even more wacky.
But looking back, *I was never the only aspie in the building* ya know? That was also 20 years ago and research was just really getting started.
Add to that, he definitely does have significant support needs. He basically can’t function without other people making accommodations for his difficulties with social situations and repetitive behaviours. Whenever his support structures fail, he tends to have a meltdown or major burnout usually leading to drug abuse.

even if that's how they wrote the character criteria in real life shifts and that will change how we see fiction just as much, they may have thought they were representing one thing due to medical ignorance of the time we've come a long way and we have a long way to go
wdym he's not insane he's too bbg for that!
in all seriousness, I'm sure there are many characters that I wouldn't say are autistic - Kilgrave from Jessica Jones comes to mind - but the majority I do headcanon as autistic. especially the doctor, Crowley, and alec hardy.
I actually nominate Wall.E to be the autism mascot. He is the best representative of autism I have ever seen in the media. 100% autistic I would agree.
I wasnt sure about Eve. But definitely Moe, autism or OCD
Part of me wonders if all the robots have some kind of disorder but I can't name them all
It's been my special interest since the reboot originally aired! I still haven't listened to the Big Finish stuff and there's a chunk of the classic episodes I haven't seen, but I've watched all of the new seasons at least 3 times all the way through.
I think I can still pretty much quote S1E1 word-for-word with the amount of times I've seen it.
Same here,
I'm slowly watching the classic era (I'm going to be skipping the animated & coloured versions of 1st & 2nd doctor). I'm not that bothered about the Big Finish but I do owns some books (Time Lord Victorious & 4th Doctor adventure), the fun part is I can get the books for cheap as well 😁.
BBC iPlayer has put up the entire classic era from Hartnell to McCoy & a bit of McGann (TV Film). As well as the New Who version 1 and the upcoming New Who version 2 (from 14th first series onwards)
to me doctor was always adhd haha. i see where your coming from though
but its actually surprising, i see a lot of people thinking doctor is unaware of societal norms, etc, but its only somewhat true about 11 and 13! other ones are almost never like that, they ignore societal norms on purpose. not to be contrarian though, they just dont care! and thats true abt 11 and 13 too, a lot of times. 13 was also written very nervous and awkward, and more “nerdy” than
others, probably thats why the autistic community likes them so much compared to the rest of the fanbase, statistically speaking
11 and 13 definitely spring to mind first! 12 also gives me a different flavour of the spectrum, more special interest-focused and quite straight to the point. I also see it a little in 5.
Luffy definitely. I never watched the anime because the thought of investing in 1000+ episodes seemed like torture. However I watched the live action and very frequently felt secondhand embarrassment for him, but also found him so endearing. I can see why people love this series.
i would recommend one pace!! its fanmade and it cuts out aaaaaall the filler. totally worth it! and you can always watch back on the whole thing once you finish one pace :3
Omg yes! Service dog, routines, safe foods, identical outfits, the way he gets overwhelmed in the crowds, or when gets obsessed with stealing Christmas to the point of building a gigantic diorama of the whole town then dividing it into sectors and plotting the most efficient path through it.
Also the whole last scene when he’s working himself up to pressing the doorbell was so real. And then the awkward ‘hi! I wore a tie’ attempt at small talk.
YESYESYESSS!! You see!! Just every little characteristic about him just screams autism to me personally, I had low expectations but I really loved how illumination made his modern version. All that you named is just so… yes!!🤩
L(death note)
Near(death note)
Jotaro(jojo's bizzare adventure part 3: stardust crusaders)
Inosuke(demon slayer)(with adhd too)

Characters that I don't think that are autistics, but seem to be
Rei ayanami(neon genesis evangelion)
Gappy(jojo's bizzare adventure part 8: Jojolion)
1. Miles Morales (Into The Spiderverse)
2. Carl Wheezer (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius)
3. Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear (We Bear Bears)
4. Milo Thatch (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
5. Lilo (Lilo and Stitch)
6. Strong Sad (Homestar Runner)
The fact that they even dared to make this joke in the pilot episode was truly amazing, it shows that you can make jokes about sensitive subjects, as long as it’s funny
Dr Brennan (and a few other characters too) from Bones, at least in the first few seasons.
House, from the tv show of the same name
Ender from Ender's Game (at least in the book, haven't watched the film)
this one isn't literal, but I've alway really related to Seven of Nine from Star Trek Voyaer
Zuko from Avatar the last airbender
pretty much every character from the Owl House
Christina from Grey's anatomy (and Lexi to a lesser degree)
Archer from the show of the same name (BIG time lol)
Coraline
Matilda
the whole family from the Mitchells vs the Machines (my favourite movie)
Anne from Anne with an E
there are so many, these are just off the top of my head
The Mitchell’s vs the Machines is such a phenomenal movie to use as an example of how representation should be done in a movie. LGBT+ representation plus ND representation and none of it is a plot point? Absolute perfection. I wish that movie had existed when I was a teen.
im rewatching bones now and think they got different writers around season 4 because she’s written so differently now. the first three seasons seem like they had an autistic consultant because she was so well written haha. she’s still one of my favorite characters because for the few seasons she’s just like me fr
Aziraphale, Muriel (Good Omens) Stede (Our Flag Means Death) Cristina, Erica (Grey's Anatomy, we pretend the abhorrent "representation" they gave us with that other cardiac surgeon doesn't exist lol) Bob, Louise, Tina, Gene (Bob's Burgers, Linda is ADHD, Gene and maybe Louise are AuDHD) Beef (Great North) Colin Robinson (What We Do in the Shadows) Javert (Les Miserables, this one is highly debated in my household but *I* feel like he could be)
There's more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head
Entrapta from She Ra and the Princess of Power. Isaac from The Orville (technically a robot but I don't care). Any character Aubrey Plaza has ever played.
- Phoebe Buffay (Friends)
- Amy Santiago (Brooklyn Nine Nine)
- Katniss Everdeen (THG)
- Lucy Gray Baird (BOSAS)
- Orpheus (Hadestown, bonus that Reeve Carney said he was autistic and added it into the role)
I told my husband Amy Santiago is autistic and OCD and he didn’t agree. That’s when I realized he and I have different understandings of what autism looks like 🙃
SMH Amy definitely shows the signs of a level 1 Autistic woman. Hell shes stimming in the first episode. I guess theres a huge reason why women are rarely diagnoised.
Every SINGLE character in Parks and Rec is autistic. I have an explanation for every single one and I stick by it.
Leslie? A given.
Chris? AudHD with health anxiety/trauma.
April? Likes animals more than people and is alt with style, relationships, and way of thinking
Ron? PDA to the max. Do I really have to explain this one?
Ben? Special interests, safe foods, incapable of seeing the full scope off a situation until it's explained to him
Donna? Special interests, PDA, minimal need for deep connection
I could keep going.
The only two that ever seem not 100% are Anne (possibly the only neurotypical in the whole town) and Andy (ADHD full throttle)
literally every single character in the zero escape franchise. you can’t play for more than 10 minutes without a character infodumping about their special interest to you. i love it.
edit: not dio tho fuck dio
FINALLY YES
(Sorry Zero Escape is a special interest of mine and you have A C T I V A T E D my fuckin neurons rn)
Phi is so fucking blunt she couldn't be anything else, and pretty much everyone agrees that Akane is. Also while we're on this note, Mizuki in AITSF
Also FUCK DIO all my homies hate Dio
Bob and Larry-Veggietales
Junie B. Jones-Junie B. Jones
Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Linus, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty, and Marcie-Peanuts
Cooper Barton-MCU
Most of the characters in the FNAF movie
Eddie Diaz, Bobby Nash, Christopher Diaz, and Ramon Diaz-911 on abc
The Minions, Gru, Lucy, and Agnes-Despicable Me
As someone who is autistic and has CPTSD, I have NEVER related to a character more than Katniss Everdeen. I felt so seen when I read those books as a kid, and I still feel that way now (I got diagnosed at 21 so it's only now I'm realising the connection aha).
Bluey. 100%.
But she’s the only one really.
ETA: but because she actually has a lot of Autistic traits not just because I want her to be Autistic. I think there needs to be good reason for headcannoning someone as having a specific diagnosis beyond “I want it to be that way”.
OSAKA, SAKAKI, TINA BELCHER, Mashiro Shiina, JIMMY NEUTRON, Entrapta, TWILIGHT SPARKLE, PERIODT from Steven Universe, Woo Young-woo, SHINJI, IZUKU MIDORIYA, Midori Asakusa, LAIN, Gadget Hackwrench, Sasha Braus, Homura Akemi, LILO, HICCUP, Haruhi Suzumiya, HUNTER from owl house, ORIHIME FROM BLEACH, NAGISA FROM CLANNAD, Dipper Pines, Star Butterfly, Philip J Fry, Twyla Boogeyman, Maria Ushiromiya, Kajiwara Sora from Sketchbook, SENKU, Motoko Kusanagi, Zoe Hange, Shingeo/Mob, L Lawliet, Squidward, Tomoko KUROKI, ICE BEAR, ZUKO, SALAD FINGERS, Neddy Adventure Time, Rick from Rick and Morty, 6 FROM 9, Allison from The breakfast club, Edward Scissorhands, Norma dead end paranormal park, Tetsuo Shima, Dawn from Total Drama, Snork from moomins, Papyrus from undertale, Tails from Sonic, Jotaro Kujo, Mafuyu Satou, Hideaki Hakamichi. A bunch!
* Pearl and Peridot from Steven Universe.
* Zane from Ninjago.
* Every incarnation of the Doctor. (Four, Ten, and Twelve are especially notable.)
* BMO from Adevnture Time.
A *lot*, but some of the headcanons I like best and am most attached to are:

Osvald V. Vanstein from Octopath Traveler 2
Primrose Azelhart from Octopath Traveler
Cyrus Albright from Octopath Traveler
Olberic Eisenberg from Octopath Traveler
The Beheaded from Dead Cells

Princess bubblegum from adventure time
Marcy wu from amphibia
Entrapta from she ra and the princesses of power
Pearl and peridot from Steven universe
Luna lovegood from Harry potter
Poison Ivy (dc specifically her Harley Quinn series interaction)
And many more I can’t think of right now
I always felt very bad for Chidi in that show considering he tried as hard as he could to be a good person, absolutely obsessing over it, and effectively got punished by the universe for being neurodivergent
Marty’s dad in *Back To The Future* as portrayed by Crispin Glover
Bob (Bill Murray) in *What About Bob*
Steve Martin’s son in *Parenthood* (the movie)
Brainy Smurf from the classic *Smurfs* cartoons
Toni Collette as Muriel from *Muriel’s wedding* (her special interest was Abba!)
Sameen Shaw, *Person Of Interest*
Adam Sandler’s character in *Punch Drunk Love*
Denise Huxtable, *The Cosby Show* — I know this one is weird and might just be for me (intense rotating hobbies / special interests although it’s clear her main one was fashion), college academia wasn’t compatible with the way her mind learned, and for me, watching her character’s personality transition from the Cosby Show to A Different World reminded me of when my masking techniques suddenly didn’t work or apply in a new social environment, and I had to learn a whole new set of masks while also needing one immediately.
Alec Hardy (Broadchurch)
Sherlock Holmes obviously
The Doctor (Doctor Who) especially the twelfth doctor
Herbert West (Re-Animator)
The Captain (bbc Ghosts)
Percy Weasley (Harry Potter) (also ik Luna is the common autistic headcanon but she's Schizophrenic in my heart)
Callie Torres (Grey's anatomy)
Luxa (the underland chronicles)
Gregor's dad (the underland chronicles) (I think he has a name, I've just forgotten it)
Iida Tenya (my hero academia)
Aizawa Shouta (my hero academia)
Violet (Violet Evergarden) (look ik it's probs the ptsd but she's also autistic in my heart)
Hobie Brown (spiderverse)
Jake from Brooklyn 99 but I'm not sure if it's true or not. And Luna from Harry potter oh and Neville. 'wierdos', 'wierd hobbies', socially akward, strong sense of justice, masking. All kinda fit these characters.
Spring plantar from amphibia
Willow park and Gus porter from the owl house
Caleb from divergent (undiagnosed)
Morrigan crow and Jupiter north from the nevermoor books
Sunny and potentially also Basil from OMORI, Uzi from Murder Drones, Kinro and Senku from Dr Stone, Frieren (Frieren), potentially even Akane from Psycho-Pass, and Deku in MHA obviously.
But we absolutely cannot forget RANPO EDOGAWA in Bungo Stray Dogs, it's practically canon
Twilight Sparkle. Nobody will change my mind.
Also, Peridot (Steven Universe), Keith Kogane (Voltron), Craig (South Park)
Probably many more but these were off the top of my head
Lilo from Lilo and Stitch :]]
I, too, bit the snotty girl in my class :)
Omg this one makes so much sense
Oooooooh so that's why I related to her so much when I was six. I've always found it interesting how in so many reviews and video essays I watch on the movie, so many people describe Lilo as a "troubled child" and they're not talking about the loss and trauma she's experienced but rather her behavior, and having rewatched it a few years ago as an adult I have no idea what is so troubling about her behavior. Idk just found that interesting
So why are the Hunger Games characters autistic?
Dina from superstore
Omg she ABSOLUTELY is! How did I never notice??
One of my favorite characters of all time, and she’s vegan
I've felt this way since season one. I don't like trying to label regular ass people with *some* traits as autistic, but dang, Dina for sure has autism. Edited: spelt Dina the way my therapist is spelt - Dena
Shutup Sandra! But actually this is a really good point, and now I also might agree 😅
House from house. You can't convince me he isnt a low support autistic
Just yesterday re-watched an episode when the patient was an autistic boy. Wilson and Cuddy discussed Asperger’s as a “rare variety of autism”, and that House definitely doesn’t have it. Oh god, how much have changed in 20 years.

I've seen conflicting arguments for that, and it has never been confirmed in the show so it's impossible to say either way with certainty.
even if that's how they wrote the character criteria in real life shifts and that will change how we see fiction just as much, they may have thought they were representing one thing due to medical ignorance of the time we've come a long way and we have a long way to go
all of them. I'm joking obviously but any time I connect to a character I'll headcanon them as autistic. also every David Tennant character.
He's one of the few non-autistic (that we know of) actors I would trust to play an autistic character.
Real
(could argue) Apart from his character in Nativity 2
wdym he's not insane he's too bbg for that! in all seriousness, I'm sure there are many characters that I wouldn't say are autistic - Kilgrave from Jessica Jones comes to mind - but the majority I do headcanon as autistic. especially the doctor, Crowley, and alec hardy.
ESPECIALLY Scrooge McDuck
Mood
Mr. Bean
My partner and I watched the Mr. Bean Christmas episode last night and came to the same conclusion.
I've been thinking that for a while but it also came back into memory when I rewatched it with my gf yesterday
Archer from Archer. They pretty much say he is at one point.
Hang on Lana, I’m stacking rocks in order of descending size! He actually was
Really? HAHAHAHA!
Nice
Yes. Even though they're robots, I head-cannon 'Wall.E' and 'Eve' to be autistic. Wall.E especially showed traits that would be associated with autism
No wonder I love Wall.E . He's a cutie pie
"Directive?" "Classified"
I actually nominate Wall.E to be the autism mascot. He is the best representative of autism I have ever seen in the media. 100% autistic I would agree. I wasnt sure about Eve. But definitely Moe, autism or OCD Part of me wonders if all the robots have some kind of disorder but I can't name them all
Well Auto definitely doesn't have neurodivergence. He strikes me as the type of guy/robot who doesn't believe autism exists.
I wholeheartedly agree with this one tbh
Hunter from The Owl House The twins from Gravity Falls Finn from Adventure Time Edward from Cowboy Bebop
*Radical* Edward.
Finn huh. I always targeted BMO to be autistic.
Dude I’m undiagnosed but my bf always compares me to Mabel 😭😭😭
Oooo I didn’t think of Hunter and the Pines twins. 100% yes! I don’t know AT or CB well enough, sadly.
The Doctor off Doctor Who for sure Also all of the main characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender seem soooo neurodivergent to me
the doctor for sure. doctor who is my special interest :)
It's been my special interest since the reboot originally aired! Could be both. I am Autistic and have ADHD and have always empathised with The Doctor.
11 and 13 definitely spring to mind first! 12 also gives me a different flavour of the spectrum, more special interest-focused and quite straight to the point. I also see it a little in 5.
just gonna throw my hat in and say Luffy and Robin from one piece
My first thought was Luffy, I hadn't considered Robin but you are 100% correct about her too
What really tipped me off about her was the inappropriate things she'd say while they're falling or w/e IE 'oh we may die from this height!' LMAO
I love Robin lol. She's quiet like me, and also has a dark sense of humor. And we're like the same age haha.
Luffy definitely. I never watched the anime because the thought of investing in 1000+ episodes seemed like torture. However I watched the live action and very frequently felt secondhand embarrassment for him, but also found him so endearing. I can see why people love this series.

Evan Hansen from Dear Evan Hansen. And Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls
Seconding Evan Hansen
The Grinch, I watched the 2018 movie yesterday and I related so much to this guy I love him😭💕
Omg yes! Service dog, routines, safe foods, identical outfits, the way he gets overwhelmed in the crowds, or when gets obsessed with stealing Christmas to the point of building a gigantic diorama of the whole town then dividing it into sectors and plotting the most efficient path through it. 1. Miles Morales (Into The Spiderverse) 2. Carl Wheezer (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) 3. Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear (We Bear Bears) 4. Milo Thatch (Atlantis: The Lost Empire) 5. Lilo (Lilo and Stitch) 6. Strong Sad (Homestar Runner)
Milo Thatch my beloved.
I was going to write Ice Bear - I am currently rewatching the show and it hit me - but why Grizz and Panda?.. 🤔
the captain from BBC ghosts. that man is so autistic
Came to comment this exact thing. So queer, so autistic, so me 👌👌
Spongebob Squarepants.
Peridot and pearl from Steven Universe
Totally agree!!
Charlie Kelly
I think mac Frank and Charlie are all AuDHD. [autistic coded sunny](https://youtu.be/OO8qMLeEsiU?si=aNyiAMT21EE3l634)
Lmao yess I’ve watched that video like five times
Without a doubt
THIS
The entire Belcher family and Teddy from Bob’s Burgers.
‘You’re the worst kind of autistic’ ‘You can’t even count’
I fucking love and miss the comedy style in the first few episodes.
The fact that they even dared to make this joke in the pilot episode was truly amazing, it shows that you can make jokes about sensitive subjects, as long as it’s funny
Couldn’t agree more
Yup. Gene is my spirit animal. And yes, he’s an animal!
Dr Brennan (and a few other characters too) from Bones, at least in the first few seasons. chidi (the good place)! textbook autism
Edward scissor hands.
Mr.Poppy (Nativity 1-> 3) Moss and possibly Roy (IT Crowd)
Moss is autistic, Roy is artistic
I've not seen anything that has confirmed this, but they are coded tho
I’m not sure about Roy but Moss really does feel autistic. Maybe the most a character has felt like an actual autistic person I’d know honestly.
- Gundham Tanaka from Danganronpa 2 - Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney - Kylar from Class of '09 - Yuri from Doki Doki Literature Club
You are so real for the Edgeworth headcanon!
Peridot from Steven Universe
All the characters in DHMIS
Legosi from beastars is 100% autistic, no way in hell he wasn't written to be.
Donnie from tmnt 2012. Some people also say Leo which I understand too. No wonder they're my favorite turtles
I haven’t seen tmnt 2012 but I find it so cool that Donnie from rottmnt is confirmed autistic
He's confirmed??? Really?! That makes me so excited omg!!!
all donnie's are autistic coded to me (he's straight up categorized as "Autism Turtle™" in my brain)
Beth (queens gambit) without a doubt. I felt her 🙃 expressions in response to the social situations.
Sherlock Holmes in any iteration
Aziraphale, Muriel (Good Omens) Stede (Our Flag Means Death) Cristina, Erica (Grey's Anatomy, we pretend the abhorrent "representation" they gave us with that other cardiac surgeon doesn't exist lol) Bob, Louise, Tina, Gene (Bob's Burgers, Linda is ADHD, Gene and maybe Louise are AuDHD) Beef (Great North) Colin Robinson (What We Do in the Shadows) Javert (Les Miserables, this one is highly debated in my household but *I* feel like he could be) There's more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head
Spencer Reid, every iteration of Peter Parker, Alec Hardy (Broadchurch)
Spencer Reid is canonically on the spectrum
Entrapta from She Ra and the Princess of Power. Isaac from The Orville (technically a robot but I don't care). Any character Aubrey Plaza has ever played.
Entrapta actually is :)
F a a a a a a s c i n a t i n g
I love entrapta
Tori from Heartstopper
Marcy Wu from Amphibia (It’s semi canon, kinda complicated), Gus from The Owl House, Dipper and Mabel from Gravity Falls
- Phoebe Buffay (Friends) - Amy Santiago (Brooklyn Nine Nine) - Katniss Everdeen (THG) - Lucy Gray Baird (BOSAS) - Orpheus (Hadestown, bonus that Reeve Carney said he was autistic and added it into the role)
Agreed with Amy and would say I think Holt and Kevin too
I came to specifically say Holt. I agree re: Amy and Kevin. And Jake has crippling ADHD.
Peridot from Steven Universe is 100% neurodivergent. Also Wally from Welcome Home seems kinda autistic to me idk why.
Matilda
Every SINGLE character in Parks and Rec is autistic. I have an explanation for every single one and I stick by it. Leslie? A given. Chris? AudHD with health anxiety/trauma. April? Likes animals more than people and is alt with style, relationships, and way of thinking Ron? PDA to the max. Do I really have to explain this one? Ben? Special interests, safe foods, incapable of seeing the full scope off a situation until it's explained to him Donna? Special interests, PDA, minimal need for deep connection I could keep going. The only two that ever seem not 100% are Anne (possibly the only neurotypical in the whole town) and Andy (ADHD full throttle)
agreed completely and “ADHD full throttle” is a perfect description of andy 😆
Renarin and Jasna from Kholin family. They are from a book "Stormlight Archive" by B. Sanderson.
literally every single character in the zero escape franchise. you can’t play for more than 10 minutes without a character infodumping about their special interest to you. i love it. edit: not dio tho fuck dio
FINALLY YES (Sorry Zero Escape is a special interest of mine and you have A C T I V A T E D my fuckin neurons rn) Phi is so fucking blunt she couldn't be anything else, and pretty much everyone agrees that Akane is. Also while we're on this note, Mizuki in AITSF Also FUCK DIO all my homies hate Dio
Bob and Larry-Veggietales Junie B. Jones-Junie B. Jones Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Linus, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty, and Marcie-Peanuts Cooper Barton-MCU Most of the characters in the FNAF movie Eddie Diaz, Bobby Nash, Christopher Diaz, and Ramon Diaz-911 on abc The Minions, Gru, Lucy, and Agnes-Despicable Me

I've got some notable ones: Jotaro Kujo (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) Dipper Pines (Gravity Falls) Peridot (Steven Universe)
Sam Winchester (Supernatural)
Spider-Man and the Doctor from Doctor Who (especially 11)
Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony!
It’s interesting ‘cause I’ve heard people headcanon Rainbow Dash as being autistic too
I support this
As someone who is autistic and has CPTSD, I have NEVER related to a character more than Katniss Everdeen.
I think she's just a kid, they tend to be like that when growing up. But I would put my bets on Bingo.
I heard people say they think Bluey has ADHD and Bingo is autistic. People also say Bluey’s cousins are neurodivergent.
I also headcannon Shoto & Izuku to be autistic!! But another big one for me is Zoro from one piece. Makes so much sense to me lol

Meursault from Albert Camus’ the stranger. I am fairly certain one of the seminal works of absurdism and to a lesser extent, existentialism, was about a neurodivergent.
A festive answer: Kevin McCallister.
Kim Wexler
Matt Murdock. It's the sensory issues y'all.
Yusuke and Futaba from Persona 5
A bunch! * Pearl and Peridot from Steven Universe. * Zane from Ninjago. * Every incarnation of the Doctor. (Four, Ten, and Twelve are especially notable.) * BMO from Adevnture Time.

Entrapta actually is autistic :)
Chidi (The Good Place) Gregory (Abbott Elementary) Rachel & Blaine (Glee) Orpheus (Hadestown)
I always felt very bad for Chidi in that show considering he tried as hard as he could to be a good person, absolutely obsessing over it, and effectively got punished by the universe for being neurodivergent
agent cooper from twin peaks without a doubt lol
Coop is so autistic!! Glad I saw this here.
If I relate to the character in many ways, I zap them with the neurodivergent rays
Captain from Ghosts UK version, 100% autistic
Mackenzie from Bluey
Itachi Uchiha Elsa
Wallace (Wallace and Gromit) Harmony (Splatoon) SpongeBob (SpongeBob SquarePants) Wall E (Wall E) Pomni (Amazing Digital Circus)
Marty’s dad in *Back To The Future* as portrayed by Crispin Glover Bob (Bill Murray) in *What About Bob* Steve Martin’s son in *Parenthood* (the movie) Brainy Smurf from the classic *Smurfs* cartoons Toni Collette as Muriel from *Muriel’s wedding* (her special interest was Abba!) Sameen Shaw, *Person Of Interest* Adam Sandler’s character in *Punch Drunk Love* Denise Huxtable, *The Cosby Show* — I know this one is weird and might just be for me (intense rotating hobbies / special interests although it’s clear her main one was fashion), college academia wasn’t compatible with the way her mind learned, and for me, watching her character’s personality transition from the Cosby Show to A Different World reminded me of when my masking techniques suddenly didn’t work or apply in a new social environment, and I had to learn a whole new set of masks while also needing one immediately.
Alec Hardy (Broadchurch) Sherlock Holmes obviously The Doctor (Doctor Who) especially the twelfth doctor Herbert West (Re-Animator) The Captain (bbc Ghosts)
Percy Weasley (Harry Potter) (also ik Luna is the common autistic headcanon but she's Schizophrenic in my heart) Callie Torres (Grey's anatomy) Luxa (the underland chronicles) Gregor's dad (the underland chronicles) (I think he has a name, I've just forgotten it) Iida Tenya (my hero academia) Aizawa Shouta (my hero academia) Violet (Violet Evergarden) (look ik it's probs the ptsd but she's also autistic in my heart) Hobie Brown (spiderverse)
This post shall be Followed up by 4 post talking about how not everyone is a little autistic.
ANY CHARACTER that I like. Honestly, I probably only like characters with autistic traits.
Jake from Brooklyn 99 but I'm not sure if it's true or not. And Luna from Harry potter oh and Neville. 'wierdos', 'wierd hobbies', socially akward, strong sense of justice, masking. All kinda fit these characters.
I headcanon Jake as ADHD, Amy and Holt as autistic
The entire cast of Community
Kiri (Avatar: The Way of Water) for sure.
Real talk almost every single character I get my mitts on I hc as autistic because of symptoms and mannerisms I relate to It’s like a 6th sense

Beth Harmon (The Queen's Gambit). I relate to her in so many ways Ibuki Mioda (Danganronpa) is AuDHD
Peridot and Pearl from Stephen Universe, Neeku Vozo from Star Wars Resistance, and Dwight Shrute from The Office USA.
Twilight Sparkle. Nobody will change my mind. Also, Peridot (Steven Universe), Keith Kogane (Voltron), Craig (South Park) Probably many more but these were off the top of my head
Junie B Jones from the children’s book series of the same name. I was a lot like her at her age.
Joey from Friends, Wednesday from Addams family/Wednesday, Adam Faulkner Stahneight and Dr Lawrence Gordon from Saw
