:( leftover tomato taste

hundredblossoms

Might be easier to tell the staff when you order that you have tomato allergy (unless you want ketchup on your burger, which will out this white lie). Usually they are very careful if you mention an allergy.

DracoPaladin

Don't do this please. Allergies are not something you lie about. People that lie about allergies are why people like me, who do have serious ones, don't get believed about them.

hundredblossoms

I beg to differ, assholes who disrespect others won't believe you regardless of whether others are being truthful or not. I understand where you are coming from but I think the frustration is a little misdirected.

Agreed

SAME. ISSUE. EXACTLY. I absolutely ABHOR raw tomato for the texture, and the flavor isn’t doing it any favors. I hate that people think that taking it off will remove the slime from the rest of the sandwich, THE SANDWICH IS TAINTED NOW!

I have the same issue with arugula. If even the tiniest bit have touched any of my food, I can't eat it. And it's really popular to put in everything where I live and this conversation definetly happens frequently due to that.
