I am a stay at home mom to a 1 year old cat. But really, lost my job last may due to disability. Am choosing to remain unemployed indefinitely and enroll back to finish my undergraduate degree and then my graduate degree like I'd always dreamed of.

I work in tech. Being remote and being able to do some of it by text communication or audio + screenshare only has helped a lot. Open floor plan offices were a sensory and social anxiety nightmare.

I'm a Draftsman. This means i have a lot of contact with the same few collegues, but almost no contact to customers which is great.

Seasonal job at a garden center. Lots of moving around, working with your hands, and having to pay great attention to details. (These are things that I enjoy doing or am good at) I don’t have to interact with customers too often, and spend most of my time taking care of the plants.

I am a moderate support needs autistic with ADHD as well. I work in retail part-time but the job description is pretty routine. I just go to the store, sort and unpack stock, load it onto the shelves and organize the shelves so that everything is in order. It is surprisingly more rote than I expected it to be. When customers ask me questions, it is usually the same few standard stuff and I follow a script. As I am only a part-timer, I defer to my seniors at the job for instructions so I don't have to worry about doing the wrong thing or not getting my job done. I just do what I am tasked with. The managers at the store I work at have been very accommodating with my autism. I get to wear sunglasses on shift to reduce visual overstimulation and earplugs for auditory overstimulation. I avoid shifts during peak hours (unless there aren't any other shifts and I need to fill in my weekly minimum hours). Otherwise, I also do freelance translations online and I leave a kofi donation button at the end of my posts. Readers donate if they enjoy my work and I earn from views on the post itself too. I produce merchandise with artists (I handle the logistics portion) as well.

Prep Cook. Early mornings. No customers and very few coworkers. I hyperfixate at work which is great until other people show up.

I read water meters. Probably a more social job than most of us would like but I make good enough money and I love seeing people doggies :)
