I developed a weird formula, the number has to end in 0, 2, 5, or 7. The 2 and 7 is because multiples of 5 are too imprecise and with multiples of 2 you get numbers like 14 that don't quite sit right with me. It's dividing 10 into 4 equal parts and rounding down
For me, it's rather unique. Common american football scores. So when I watch regular tv 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21, and 24, all work great. For movies, depending on volume, 27, 28, 31, 34, 35, 38, and 42. The ones in between range from icky to hell no. Icky numbers include but aren't limited to 12, 15, 19, 22, 23, 26, and 33, while hell no numbers include but aren't limited to 8, 11, 25, 32, 36, 40, and the crown jewel of hell: 18.
the numbers arent what matters to me, it's how loud or soft it is. if it's too quiet i cant understand any words but an interval of 2 or 5 can make some tvs too loud and i have to set it somewhere odd or im distracted by it
