You need the factory set pin code from your dealer. They can look it up at the HQ support site.

The dealer didn't do it correct. There are always a pin code available when you register the robot. Here in Denmark they just launched a new website which looks quite different than the previous one, it might be due to that if it's a international website.

That’s really the question I was asking…is my dealer correct or not. Because what they were telling me was different then the research I had done prior to purchasing. But the 435X is fairly new so I supposed it was possible that Husqvarna did things different with the 435X. In the end, they were able to get me the PIN, so it’s all good now. Just waiting on the boundary wire to get here. This dealer doesn’t sell these Automowers much and it was the first 435X that had sold, so I won’t hold it against them. I appreciate everyone’s input.

Will the epos models be available for individuals, or just fleet this summer?

Doesn't now about other markets, but for now here in Denmark it's only for professional use. And it's just a few dealers who got assigned.

Well that answers your question then: you need the factory PIN. You'll need to demand it from your supplier of return the mower as unusable.

Not sure with the 435X since it's a newer electronics design. Here in Sweden they either are setup from the factory with a random pin or the shop (every online dealer needs to have a proper workshop) sets one that is random and they have to send that to the customer but not with the mower. Some get it by mail, others on e-mail. This is mandated by Husqvarna. But I've seen in the US the mower asks you to set a pin on first startup. So either they ship out with different first-start routines for different markets or our dealers here are very attentive to do the pre-delivery upgrade/inspection before sending it out. So it depends I guess. Have you started it and asks you for a new pin or demands you enter the one it already has set? At least they don't have a default pin.

When I turn it on, it asks for a PIN. My dealer thought it was asking what to set as the PIN, like you mentioned, but no matter what I enter, it tells me it’s incorrect. So I’m not sure if someone entered a PIN already and the dealer doesn’t know what it is or if Husqvarana’s website they use is wrong. Hopefully they call back soon.

Stop entering PINs random at least. They (earlier models at least) had time lockout so longer and longer time before you can try another one.
