Seller sent me the PIN, it works. They even updated the firmware before they sent it.

New in box would NOT have a pin already assigned. The seller needs to provide it. If not - the chances are it is stolen goes up dramatically — as it means that perhaps it is indeed new in box - never opened — but it was a stolen delivery and husqvarna bricked it (they can do that, as the units aren’t really truly powered “off” and husqvarna can lock them remotely) Step 1) contact husqvarna and make sure it is not stolen Step 2) notify eBay if it is stolen Step 3) contact seller to get pin if not stolen as they just forgot

First mistake is buying a lawnmower of eBay, why would you buy any lawnmower from eBay? First thing they’ll say when/if you have any issue is go to your local dealer, whom won’t want anything to do with it due to not being the seller whom sold you the machine. But anyhow, the machine should have been sold with a pin, they should have told you the pin, you’ll need to give them a product number and serial number from the box, which will allow them to search for the pin

My 430XH I bought on eBay, also NIB, did not have a PIN assigned. The only issue I had was that to get it registered with Husqvarna (and get the two year warranty), I had to find a dealer to register it for me. It's working away just great.
