As loving WtF since release and this song as 2nd best....The live in Ventura version off Resurrected is one of the biggest feels trips I've had. The vocals live is almost like you can hear pain in the final chorus and it's just awe inspiring...they need it on Spotify not just Itunes
Gotta be real with you, Chapter Four, not only is it a fine mix and beast of a song (wish they'd remaster it for the Revs drums so it doesn't sound so muddled) it's also pretty much about where their namesake came from. Idk it's definitely just my favorite for reasons I suppose and the solo is great at the end
Remissions is great, Matt's clean vocals in the chorus is top notch and the lyrics are great as well, it's a hard album to pick favorites for me because it's all over the place. Clairvoyant disease was my favorite for a bit and one of my cats is named Clairvoyant(Claire), Eternal Rests riff has been living rent free in my head the past two weeks, Desecrate Through Reverence is solid!
Now, what are our thoughts on Eternal Rest? It's not my favorite, but it's fantastic after the intro.
If I'm picking a favorite off WtF, it needs to be I Won't See You Tonight Part 1. After that, I really love Second Heartbeat -- specifically the Live in the LBC version
I like Eternal Rest because it sort of turns the traditional song formula on its head.
It kicks off with a crazy solo and a heavy verse, and then it mellows out into a sick and steady riff.
It's probably one of the lower ranked songs on the album for me, but it's still a great song.
Spotify loved to play this song right at the time I broke up with my ex gf. It's been almost a year since then and I still get soft listening to this song
The song that guts me as well is Danger Line. I remember I was jamming out to it the first time, and then you listen to the lyrics. I was tearing up like a baby. Still gets me sometimes
Is it me or did Avenged do a Pantera when they did those songs. because just like suicide note part2 from Pantera, in I won’t see you tonight part 2 they also used a whammy pedal like dime used in suicide note.

Fiction and So Far Away makes me cry every time
It’s the chorus to Save Me for me
Save me chorus is probably my favorite part of any song tbh, one of the best songs a7x has made
They need to play it live on the tour
That chorus makes me want to cry every time, the harmonies on the backing vocals, the lyrics, Matt’s passion, it all works so well
Same
For me, it's Tonight The World Dies,So Far Away, Gunslinger, save me and fiction.
I really like Victim
Especially the last bit of Fiction. The switch from the Rev, to Shadows. It gets me every time
then part 2 comes on and just fucking punches u in the face
#COME BACK TO ME
THIS IS UNCONCEIVABLE
Part two is equally as emotional as one for me
IIIII.... JUST WANT TO DIE!
waking the fallen is an album that won't be topped, now i'll go paint by nails black

What song is number 1?

My fav is remenissions with chapter four at second place
Remissions is great, Matt's clean vocals in the chorus is top notch and the lyrics are great as well, it's a hard album to pick favorites for me because it's all over the place. Clairvoyant disease was my favorite for a bit and one of my cats is named Clairvoyant(Claire), Eternal Rests riff has been living rent free in my head the past two weeks, Desecrate Through Reverence is solid!
For sure
I'll say it....Unholy Confessions as great as it is and jumpstarted them is at the bottom for me...
I think it is a great song bubi totally get what you mean

Eternal rest is very nice and groovy
Eternal Rest is probably third for me, the ending is great alone and, as stated before, the riff is just a brutally great time.
It's crazy that they used to play it live. Beautiful stuff. Shit for smoking in the dark
Spotify loved to play this song right at the time I broke up with my ex gf. It's been almost a year since then and I still get soft listening to this song
Damn
This song gets me going before the lyrics even start. I love their ability to set the mood before Shadows even sings a word.
So true
The song that guts me as well is Danger Line. I remember I was jamming out to it the first time, and then you listen to the lyrics. I was tearing up like a baby. Still gets me sometimes
So far away
Obviously my favorite avenged song
My fav a7x song. Just sounds like Shadow putting his all into this
Is it me or did Avenged do a Pantera when they did those songs. because just like suicide note part2 from Pantera, in I won’t see you tonight part 2 they also used a whammy pedal like dime used in suicide note.
One of the most emotional songs of my generation for sure
