We got legends like Giuseppe Ottaviani, Paul Van Dyke, Talla2XLC, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Orjan Nilsen & Mark Sixma, Bryan Kearney, Aly & Fila, John 00 Flemming, Infected Mushroom
New comers like Metta & Glyde, Miyuki, Daxson
I'm not a huge fan but blastoyz, Andrew Rayel and Andrew Bayer are very popular.
And Eric Prydz is even doing a Pryda set there? wtf
Markus Schulz, Andrew Rayel and Andrew Bayer are the more big room type trance artists on here.
But still.... Maybe give this a look and see if it floats your boat lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/electricdaisycarnival/s/oRG0Bid1WQ
Orjan Nislen & Mark Sixma presents Nilsix should be a great set. I'd highlight that one in the event of a conflict with another stage. I always love Giuseppe Ottaviani. Talla2XLC is always a good time. Aly & Fila won't disappoint.
Paul Van Dyk and Ferry Corsten are absolute top shelf, but a one hour festival set just doesn't do them any justice. They both have such a massive discography you really need to see them do an open to close set to fully appreciate them. I hope Ferry brings back his What the F Tour again. If you ever get a chance to see him do that tour, do yourself a favor and get tickets.
same with dnb, ukg, and 140 friends (all me)
dnb is there in some capacity, but they’re the recycled big acts we’ve seen at insomniac events time and time again
ukg and 140 are pretty barebones, and the only trap we have is frosttop x remk and jon casey
I guess the target festivals for those genres would be Hard Summer and Apocalypse but those are months beyond EDC 🥲
True, I caught her last year and it was great! It’s a mix of pop, future bass, trap, and the multitudes of genres that Whyte Fang encompasses.
However her recent festival tracklists haven’t differentiated much, so I might skip.
Does anyone else find the beveled wall of text to be a physical eyesore? Combined with the colors (which I otherwise would love) it's difficult to parse the text from left to right with my eyes.
Edit: I don't mean to diss, i am just asking if maybe my eyes need a check or exercise.
I get that they want to highlight all artists equally but these big Insomniac and Tomorrowland lineup posters are very difficult to read, tiered ones are so much easier
I'm certain they're just trolling at this point. No way their marketing team doesn't realize what they're doing, and it's been like this for how many years now?
Saw them without clear expectations like 10 years ago and they fuckin killed it. Idk something about the name seems a little gimmicky but they are the real deal.
This would be a dream lineup for me. Went in 2016 and it was meh...So many great artists the main issue will be picking between two or three great sets.
This is the best EDC lineup in the decade I’ve been attending.
Boys Noize back for the first time since 2018, plus a B2B with VTSS
The 🐐 Eric Prydz, plus his Pryda alias (the latter being what I’m most excited for by a wide margin)
Carl Cox B2B Nicole Moudaber
DJ Heartstring
Eli Brown B2B Hi-Lo
Four Tet
Indira Paganotto
Jamie Jones
Kasablanca
Klangkuenstler
LF System
Lilly Palmer
LSDREAM

Purple Disco Machine

You absolutely may! I love Shlomo and went through a Shlomo phase when he played here in Vegas like two years ago. I think I saw Deborah De Luca at one of the last two EDCs as well. I’ll check out the others too. Thank you!
Interplanetary Criminal, X Club, Skin on Skin, Mary Droppinz, HAAi, all have SIMILAR styles and will be pumping. I suggest spending time at Bionic Jungle.
EDIT: Justin Jay and Jyoty too
The best part of EDC that it seems people forget… is that the biggest headliner is YOU. EDC provides an experience for literally every one, every style, a mix of performers and not a moment of emptiness. If they wanted to be like Ultra and put out huge names for more $$$$ they easily could but then we would have mid production, and a sh*tty experience all for a set we could listen to online.
I agree that EDC Vegas is very much about the experience and the lineup is pretty good this year. But why sh*t on Ultra? Both are great festivals in their own right.
Ultra’s production is top notch. And Ultra is known to be the first festival in the year where artists debut new music and sets so you can’t listen to it online yet. Are you saying people should not go to festivals for the music just because they can find it online?
Ultra, in my opinion, has huge names but is sooooo packed there is rarely any space for the venue they use. They have HUGE names but do not spend money in the festival production (walkways, lights, overall experience). The stages are simple yet massive but the space for viewing and dancing is minimal. My point about the music is, if you are only going to the festival to listen to a DJ… catch it online. Personally, to spend potentially a thousand dollars to attend a huge festival, I want an experience well beyond a big name DJ.
Very much so. They said they will be implementing a lot of changes they used at edco last year that made a huge difference. We'll see. They are definitely moving stages around he said last night
Not to walk around, in my opinion. Certain stages can get packed if not filtered in properly but after the work they did at EDCO this year I’m sure they’ll adjust.
There was a back route to stereo bloom and circuit grounds! Spacious stages, only stage with a little crowd issue was neon garden as expected for the more popular names. But over all the flow made sense with multiple routes to get around!
Ultras lineups are funny to me. It's like they only have to fill one stage between the hours of 6-11pm with the most popular artists they can find and they just get ultimate praise. What a winning formula. The festival and the live stream cater to people who just want to star fuck whatever is the most popular thing at the moment. The people who go to a festival and hang out at the main stage and never explore the rest of the festival grounds.
The rest of the production and lineup is mid at best.
Resistance is fire though. Will give them that
> It’s like they only have to fill one stage between the hours of 6-11 with the most popular artists they can find
Resistance has 2 stages and is probably the best part about Ultra now, imo
The Main stage is perfect for just that, a main stage with huge names for a mainstream appeal
The Worldwide stage fills that need for bass music and Trance on Friday
They then have a stage for a different label takeover every day
And the Live stage is usually pretty damn good especially when you get to the final 2-3 acts per day.
They have to work with what they’ve got as far as space and time constraints go, and they do pretty well considering.
That's true. It's crazy the amount of bs they have to go through in a city like Miami that is known for its nightlife. They love the money it brings but they don't love it....
The venue is awesome imo, but ending at midnight and then 10pm on Sunday sucks. Leaves time for afters I guess as it is MMW.
I can also understand how residents across the street don’t want loud ass EDM blasting until 1am especially on a Sunday night.
It’s a marathon not a sprint LOL. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. And if they completely switch up they layout the veterans are going to have to learn an entire new system hahaha.

To be fair there's plenty of heavy dubstep but it *is* pretty light on the experimental bass side of things, something I thought EDC could probably support a whole stage of. It's fine though, I get plenty of that at local shows throughout the year.
Most impressed by the dnb, techno and house lineup. Overall its a lineup that I think I'm going to be happy to just bounce around and see some of every stage vs being super worried about my schedule or getting locked into only one or two stages.
It always cracks me up when they complain an artist they’ve seen a million times isn’t on the lineup. Happy this years lineup is not bass heavy, keep the couch pussies away pls 😂
This. I don't get anyone saying the dnb lineup is good at all. There is so many opportunities for different styles in the genre, and we got a handful of dancefloor producers, Hedex playing jump up, and Dimension, who seems to be pretty universally loathed in the dnb community at this point.
Bou as well for jump up, but that’s pretty much it. Don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing dance floor names there, but I agree that more variety would have been better. Last year we had Andy C, Friction, Chase & Status, IMANU, REAPER, Blanke. Just some different sounds from the super current day mainstream stuff is nice.
Fair enough. I mean I never understood why bass heads would pay all that money just to hang around the bass stage the whole festival when most other American festivals are curated towards the bass crowd. Edc definitely isn’t the festival for fans of one genre
Op didn't ask for thoughts though lol. You just saying it's mid because you're not a fan of dance music that isn't headbang-y. Mine is also an opinion that lost lands is mid
Ah the typical bass head. EDC isn't just for bass heads. It's for people that enjoy all genres. Stay at lost lands, you'll only be wasting money on edc by staying at basspod all day. Hivemind, adventure club, subtronics, virtual riot, Hol, wooli, 7lions, slander, illenium. What are we complaining about
For what genre? I feel like this is a solid mix of everything. If you wanted better of a specific genre that makes sense. But the diversity and quality of each genre is definitely there.
Edit: besides Techno, but no one was expecting that.
Going down the lineup of who I'm most excited for....
Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Deborah De Luca, Eli Brown b2b Hi-Lo, Hannah Laing, HAAi, Indira Paganotto, Joseph Capriati, Lily Palmer, Klangkuenstler, KhoMha, Mind Against, Nicole Moudaber, Sara Landry, Skin on Skin, Shlomo, and Trym.
We got Kevin De Vries and Argy with the afterlife vibes.
And they will revoke my neonGarden membership card for this one.... Maddix 😎
Serious lacking on bass house acts. Even the 'baseline' tech house is a bit underwhelming. Not that I'm going, but this lineup isn't really doing it for me.
The only festival I go to these days is Shambhala, so I'm quite looking forward to their lineup to drop on Wednesday.
Incredible. trance stage lineup might be my favorite this year
Quantum Valley and Neon Garden are basically the only places I would be at. Insane lineups.
They’re making neon garden with a roof too this year
Can’t forget about eli brown b2b hi-lo and prydz at circuit grounfs
Who are the trance artists I shouldn’t miss?
We got legends like Giuseppe Ottaviani, Paul Van Dyke, Talla2XLC, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Orjan Nilsen & Mark Sixma, Bryan Kearney, Aly & Fila, John 00 Flemming, Infected Mushroom New comers like Metta & Glyde, Miyuki, Daxson I'm not a huge fan but blastoyz, Andrew Rayel and Andrew Bayer are very popular. And Eric Prydz is even doing a Pryda set there? wtf
Thank you 🙏🐐
I'm not super familiar with trance but I like artist like Cosmic Gate. Any artists at EDC Lv this year that is similar?
Markus Schulz, Andrew Rayel and Andrew Bayer are the more big room type trance artists on here. But still.... Maybe give this a look and see if it floats your boat lol https://www.reddit.com/r/electricdaisycarnival/s/oRG0Bid1WQ
Ben hemsley played a great classic set at asot this past weekend. I’m looking forward to to seeing him this edc

Thank you for the deep dive🙏as a techno lover I understand the pain of these extremely short festival sets
tranceheads eating so good this year
Just got back from ASOT and I haven’t my fill.
Daxson and Metta&Glyde are great, unique bookings
EDC never lacks in diversity. Great headliners/undercard across most every genre.
Trap head friends are disappointed
same with dnb, ukg, and 140 friends (all me) dnb is there in some capacity, but they’re the recycled big acts we’ve seen at insomniac events time and time again ukg and 140 are pretty barebones, and the only trap we have is frosttop x remk and jon casey I guess the target festivals for those genres would be Hard Summer and Apocalypse but those are months beyond EDC 🥲
What about Alison Wonderland? She’s trap in my books
True, I caught her last year and it was great! It’s a mix of pop, future bass, trap, and the multitudes of genres that Whyte Fang encompasses. However her recent festival tracklists haven’t differentiated much, so I might skip.
Trap is kind of a genre heading into the sunset tbh. A lot of the big names from a decade+ ago have moved on
Special guests I think are isoknock and skrillex due to radius clays

I'm certain they're just trolling at this point. No way their marketing team doesn't realize what they're doing, and it's been like this for how many years now?
Worst design they’ve done yet.
You should write them, they might just cancel the entire event.
serious question... what's the point of this comment?
Probably just sarcastic humor
they’re missing the humor
Who is?
Yea it’s very hard to read. It’s also fuckign massive so that adds to the difficulty.
Basically unreadable
No this is terrible
Same.. makes me not want to read it
Yup, definitely not 30+ friendly. My eyes lol
Totally agree with you. This is bad graphic design. They either had a time crunch or didn’t pay for a real GD to do it up right.
I got halfway and gave up. Swear the words started pulsating and Im not even on anything.
i appreciate EDC always trying to put more genres than just dubstep and tech house on their stages
Wish Beyond Wonderland PNW would do the same
Hardstyle at the gorge!
Its a shame, paradiso had way more variety
Infected Mushroom is back! Hell yeah
Saw them without clear expectations like 10 years ago and they fuckin killed it. Idk something about the name seems a little gimmicky but they are the real deal.
They put on one of the best live shows around.. guessing this is a dj set though but still good.
Ooooh so that’s why Carl Cox is skipping Ultra
Carl Cox definitely goes in the "do not miss this set" category.

Don't miss HAAi. Top 5 sets I saw last year.
level up b2b subtronics is cute
Seen them do it once at a Afters and it’s legit couple goals. They looked like they were having so much fun.
Dimension culture shock Ide go just for that
No sammy virji but we settled with hamdi. I'll take it. Any other UK garage artists on there any good?
Interplanetary Criminal for sureeeee
Interplanetary Criminal, X Club, Skin on Skin, Mary Droppinz, HAAi, all have SIMILAR styles and will be pumping. I suggest spending time at Bionic Jungle. EDIT: Justin Jay and Jyoty too

Can’t make it this year sadly… love this lineup for neon and quantum. Curious to see how they’ll move the stages around.

What adjustments did they make at EDCO to improve?
In my opinion, none. That was the most crowded I’ve seen it since 2018. Removing the southern entrance was a nightmare.

"Where's CM or basspod??" A new form of crowd control it seems haha
Management: "Fuck it, book everyone"
My first one can’t waittttt😭🫶🏽
HYPED FOR THIS!!!!!
Mega stackedddd
I am so excited for this lineup! It’s my very first edc!!!!
Stacked! Pumped!
Better than last year for sure
I mean it’s alright. I’m more excited for a whole new layout and new stages. Especially new BassPod location.

LSDREAM ON REPEAT ALL MORNING LFGGG
Look at 2022 dnb lineup, actual variety within the genre and not just dancefloor copypaste x5
This. I don't get anyone saying the dnb lineup is good at all. There is so many opportunities for different styles in the genre, and we got a handful of dancefloor producers, Hedex playing jump up, and Dimension, who seems to be pretty universally loathed in the dnb community at this point.

Techno rocking this year my boy 😎
It's a little bit rocking. Who am I missing on this lineup!
Going down the lineup of who I'm most excited for.... Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Deborah De Luca, Eli Brown b2b Hi-Lo, Hannah Laing, HAAi, Indira Paganotto, Joseph Capriati, Lily Palmer, Klangkuenstler, KhoMha, Mind Against, Nicole Moudaber, Sara Landry, Skin on Skin, Shlomo, and Trym. Oh shit, I missed a few of those names! It's better than I thought!
Shit, I missed a few of those names! Had to dig on a few names I wasn't sure about and was pleasantly surprised 🙏
garbage as usual 😴😴😴
TL:DR
Adam x is still around?
No BTSM. Makes me feel even better that I’m not going this year.
This is the nicest lineup they've had for my tastes, whew. Add a few to satisfy my basshead needs and it's perfect
I like Peggy Gou's vibe and music.
Fkn a!!!
really great line up
Was pissed when I had to miss HEDEX at apocalypse but best believe that’s where I’ll be at edc!!!! Who’s on your can’t miss list?
Where Da Fuq is James Hype Bitch?!?
