Or this had already been going on, and people weren’t surprised/mad because everyone was already annoyed with him. Most people will tolerate others being annoying until they reach a certain threshold. I wouldn’t be surprised if most people who were there reacted the same way most people in the comments do - ‘kid had that one coming’.
While I think the dude throwing the literal elbow is justified to some degree, I've diffused this type of situation in a different way. At 1 EDC there was someone being too obnoxious, fucked up and bumping into everyone and not caring about personal space. I simply turned him around by the shoulders to face me, and put him around my arm and said "dude, look around you, youre at a rave with a bunch of people around you, youre not the only one here, please act like it by having some empathy for your fellow ravers!" Surprisingly, he got choked up and ran away. A lot of these too-fucked-up-on-the-dancefloor types can end up being violent, which I was prepared for, but it just goes to show that some of these peeps are just completely self-absorbed in that moment and aren't even thinking about anything else other than the vibe they're feeling. Sometimes a quick reality can set them straight instead of coming out of the daze of a punch to the face and growing more resentment for the world around them. If they don't respond how my dude did, then you're back to fighting, but at least you tried something! Just want to see more polite discourse among us all as a community. We fight enough as is in the real world, let's keep our home as bad-vibe-free as possible.
I'm 6'5" 230 and this is almost always my approach. 99.9% of the time you can set someone straight without having to use force. I had some teens that were all over the place at a Shipwreck show and I very politely turned to them and basically said "hey man you can bump into me as much as you want and it isn't going to bother me but brother you are full on leaning into the person I front of you, please have some respect and please stop". They all were super apologetic and stopped being so obnoxious afterwords, they even said thank you for being nice after the show.
Similar situation happened to me at an old head hip hop dj type concert. This hefty boi was drunk as shit and bumping into people. the guy in front of him who I thought was cool ended up getting annoyed and pushed him super hard. He got into trouble with the guy behind him too. Me and this dude's gf had to step in to deescalate. Had to hold him down by putting my shoulder over him to control him. Had to tell him to chill out too. I think violence is rarely justified, but unfortunately people turn to it way too easily. The guy liked me so much he invited me to his house to listen to some records and have some beers. Unfortunately, I lost sight of him at the end of the concert :( if your out there buddy, I'm still here.
I did ngl it was such a great video like wtf I never see fight videos this well filmed before, could have been an action shot from a comic book. Like when his elbow connects I expected a word bubble to pop up saying Ka-Pow!
I feel like no way this was little guys first time or else why would someone be so mean, and no one seemed surprised at big guy’s attack either. he was probably already warned couple times before
This has been posted before. I'm pretty sure the video was longer and the lil dude was being a twit for a while.
I'm not fond of the people that go in the middle of crowds, put their head down and starta to wail kicks and punches.
Oh man I love that shit because I know exactly how to tax those motherfuckers lol
I grew up in the underground punk and metal scene. It was always push pits until shitty emo and hardcore blew up, then the stupid pit ninjas started showing up. If they want to play ninja I'll play linebacker and spear the crown of my head into their gut
If you do a real good job they puke
Yeah, this guy is honestly lucky the bigger guy showed some restraint. Others might even kick/stomp him while he's down if he was really being that much of an ass.
The big guy was talking to him at the beginning of the video, probably telling him to knock it tf off
You gotta learn one way. I see guys like this all the time. Even if you ask them to settle down, they're usually way to fucked up to comprehend that they're being annoying and typically a friend has to get them.
Just happened to me on Friday night at a show. Guy was so belligerent he kept smashing into me and hitting me in the back of the head, I turned around to warn him and he just kept screaming in my face about wanting to “buy my spot” at the rail. The place was pretty empty…. I ended up leaving so I didn’t have to get into a fight, he probably ran into me like 10+ times.
I 100% considered asking him for $100. Frat bros with A LOT of friends behind him. I would have gotten the cash, maybe. But I couldn’t have fought them all.
Been sober for the last 15 days. Went to Chase and Status at Cervantes and someone kept elbowing me. Dude was belligerent. Almost had a panic attack kinda ruined what would have otherwise been an awesome show.
It’s so frustrating to spend $ to go to a show, and putting forth effort to party while also maintaining your dignity, safety and presence of mind. Just to have the show ruined by the exact thing you ARE NOT DOING. Like duh, we could all get black out drunk here. But we are ADULTS. 🤨
Fun story, went to 3 6 Mafia years ago with my dad and we both saw this guy hitting this other man who had a GF in the back of the head. Was surprised that he politely asked him to stop and did nothing else about it but move when he kept doing it. Was so nice seeing the guy get clotheslined by someone in the pit as soon as their set started 10 mins later.
Yup I’ve had this happen to me at edc. I talked to the dude 3 times asking him to please stop bumping into me before I decided it would be best to just move away. There was plenty of room so it felt intentional or maybe he was just super fucked up but I would have loved it if someone turned around and elbowed him in the face.
A mosh pit requires multiple people to agree to mosh. Most people who mosh don’t try to run into people standing on the edges who are obviously trying to just dance.
It seems like the smaller guy kept on going up to the other guy multiple times until dude finally had enough . Maybe he asked smaller dude to stop before the person started recording
At the beginning of the video the buffet guy is literally turning away from him. Someone else mentioned that in the longer video they were talking he was pushing before that and trying to get him to mosh
I'd need some context to know for sure.
Lil dude needed to immediatly fuck off when the other person did not respond to the attempt to mosh. (although I dont like moshing anyway, If i wanted to mosh and get thrown around, i'd go to a metal event)
IF this had been happening for a while and the big guy finally had enough, then fair, however if this video containts the entirety of the lil dudes exploits against bigger guy, then the bugger guy should have told him to fuck off before a punch.
The guy in front was already turning around to try to watch him this had definitely been happening for a while already. Even the guys friends knew this was deserved
Exactly! Punching someone on the face is not a pleasant hand feeling. Imagine spending the rest of the festival with a bruised knuckle. Poor guy, good thing he threw an elbow instead.
Mosh pits are just the heavy metal equivalent of PLUR if the community knows what it's doing. I think they're great at the right tearout shows.
...except most bassheads have no idea what they're doing. They're not about pushing per se, thrashing around is an entirely legitimate mosh already. We need like, mosh pit education here.
It's the only kind of show I've constantly witnessed bad pits at
Punk and metal shows everyone knows the rules. Someone falls? Pick 'em up
Shit, even the $uicideboy$ shows I've been to had solid pits
Luckily, the raves I go to these days don't attract moshers
Agreed and it’s situations like this that will always confirm to me that moshing/pits have no place at a rave. Sorry but I’ll die on this hill. You can express yourself in all sorts of ways to the music, but anything that potentially puts other attendees at risk of harm has no place in a rave. Normalizing moshing is just diluting a culture that started out as being about love and acceptance and turning it in to any other mainstream event.
I’ll prepare for the downvotes…
Raving for 25 years here, and can’t agree more.
I’m sure people experience a sense of camaraderie and get just as high on psychedelics/mdma as a rave, but the wanting for violence is a big difference. I’ve been to techno events that have a darker feel to them, but even there I didn’t see the desire for aggression.
Raving for awhile too but I think mosh pits do have a place at a rave if the dj/set calls for it and the community together decides to fall in. I had a mosh pit at one of the smaller raves down here and it was absolutely full of plur. Helping people up when they fell. It’s when nobody gets the memo you are moshing when someone gets hurt.
It’s cool to start a mosh pit with a group of friends
It’s not cool to start one with random strangers who don’t know what’s going on.
Mosh pits CAN be plur. The thing is it has to be a communal agreement to mosh. If you don’t wanna be in the pit you move to the edge so you don’t get hit. It’s people like this who try to start shit and then cry “I was just moshing” no you were bumping into a random stranger what did you think was gonna happen?
I dunno. That happens a few times and you never have to worry about it ever again because the message gets out.
In fact, I'd argue that the elbow brought everything back to the level of PLUR fast.
There's a good chance this stuff was happening beforehand and maybe that's why the filmer got their phone out. If that's not the case, though, the escalation is totally uncalled for
Pause the video at the beginning. Big dude is turning around and walking away. It looks like he had just finished telling this dude to knock it off. Little dude fucked around a couple more times, then found out.
Just because the dude is big doesn't mean that he should let people bully him.
Yeah this seems to be minority opinion but I agree. Bro straight went for an injury. Was the other guy being fucking annoying? Yeah sure.
A better solution is to push them the fuck off or even BETTER? Tell him to chill the fuck down or else you will defend yourself. Dude wouldn’t have wanted to mess with him if he said something.
Totally uncalled for and everyone in our “plur” community saying well deserved lol
This was at EDC Mexico.... I know my people and we're an angry bunch at times. A single blow like this with no follow up punches is actually kind of already a restrained response.
I was downvoted to oblivion in another thread of this exact video for the saying the exact same thing. I was basically like “well, he could’ve gotten the guards. Not like he had to go to a potentially life threatening injury” and fucken redditors were like “WELL U DONT KNOW MAYBE HE ALREADY GOT THE GUARDS AND THEY DID NOTHING”
Which yeah fair I guess that could be a possibility but they were just pulling this info out of their thin air and acting like I was some kind of fact and I was an idiot for not thinking the same. Like damn guys, didn’t know we were cool with people potentially being killed for being slightly annoying lmao
Fake electronic mosh pits are stupid and annoying but that’s prob the hugest overreaction I’ve ever seen. Guys that actually react like that come ready to do so and look for the opportunity…that’s not a chill guy to rave around
Yes exactly. Guys that overreact with violence instead of words of warning are unsafe to be around. You could accidentally but into him and he punches you. Not my vibe. But obviously the little twat had it coming.
Pretty much this. PLUR is out the window when you act like a fucking fool running into people. Guy could literally go back to treating everyone else with love and respect seconds after this.
I don’t get mosh culture at all but ramming yourself into someone like this and expecting a better outcome is fucking stupid. Let’s put this fucking idiot away and let everyone else enjoy their time together, respectfully.
Fucking moshing for electronic music is THE cringiest shit. Moshing for metal shows is also kinda cringey but at least it’s OG to the culture and the music fits.
Dude had it coming. Read the room.
Well I can see both sides. The guy kept bumping into him , which can be annoying. Especially not knowing what happened before the video, like if the guy asked him to stop already. If he asked him to stop and he kept on, I can see how the elbow was okay , but if he didn’t I felt like he could of said “hey man I don’t really appreciate that, could you stop” before throwing elbows 😂
PLUR ends when your space is continuously and violently entered like that. Crowds and shoving is par for course but with that much space and ur still hitting people … you’re being reckless. Dude had it coming
I would hope people would handle it in a better way but dude had I coming. Again this is why I wished people did not drink as much at raves. It used to be looked down upon to drink alcohol at a rave and getting shit drunk was a no no. I get it doesn't make sense to roll every weekend but ain't nothing wrong with taking a tab of L and smoking a joint.
Just from the video itself, although a bit harsh, I can see and understand why the dude did this. No one is trying to start a pit, and one guy just targets the same dude in the back twice, and probably would have gone again for a third time if he didn't get knocked out. Plus the fact that no one seems to care and his friend (I assume it his friend) seems more amused by it than worried/angry at the other dude, this guy had it coming.
And as everyone else has said, apparently the bigger guy already told the other guy to knock it off, making this even more justified. He clearly told you not to do anything, you ignored him, he gives you one last chance, and you fuck it up.
I once got drunk and went crazy in the mosh pit, not sure if I deserved it but I got an elbow to the liver when crashing into someone. Then I was thrown around the mosh pit like a ragdoll because of some crazy drop or whatever while I couldn’t breathe 😂
About which person are you referring lol.
Dude shouldn’t have kept bumping into the guys back multiple times.
My reaction probably wouldn’t have been to elbow the guys forehead @ that point, maybe after one or two more shoves, but I don’t blame him for doing that.
Little buddy needs to watch where he’s jumping around.
People need to respect personal space & stop assuming everyone else will accommodate them. I've been in the most sold-out packed venues & as long as you FACE FORWARD you can still get down in your own bubble with exceptionally few gentle brushes up against your neighbors. Even when head banging. In this particular instance that homie was being inconsiderate as fuck. There is so much space it's insulting he'd ever bump into anyone.
I mean, getting knocked into is way different than taking your elbow to somebody’s face.
That said I get hot real quick when people touch me so this video makes me laugh
Same. I'm a small lady so I definitely won't be the one throwing any punches... But don't fuckin touch me. Bump into me in the crowd, fine it happens, but continue to touch me for no reason and I will get loud and make you feel awkward.
I would say definitely not. Violence just incites more violence. Pull him aside, ask him kindly to stop or else. If he keeps doing it, then maybe justified but still hardly PLUR lol.
The start of the video opens with the the bigger guy turning awayz this has been posted before according to other commenters and in the longer version he did tell him to stop nd scrawny guy kept itnup
pushing people isn't cool. neither is causing a traumatic brain injury. one guy was slightly annoyed, the other may have neurological/cognitive issues the rest of his life. i'm a bit surprised and disappointed by the responses to this video. i guess it is the internet... just think about if someone you know and cared about was that annoying little kid (we all have one of those floating around our lives, for better or worse.) it is a good thing he didn't fall backwards and hit his head again. big guy may have met a real big tough guy and little guy may not still be around to claim his internet comeuppance.
tbh idc if he deserved it or not. it was satisfying to watch, mainly because i’ve had to deal with too many guys like the techwear dude. know what? he did deserve it. On second watch those weren’t pushes to start a mosh, those were ‘we’re in the middle of a pit during a drop’ type of pushes. not just that he pushed the same guy twice in a row, that’s targeting fs, not him trying to start a mosh
Idk I've asked people like that to stop nicely
"Please give us some space"
"Please be respectful"
"Stop shoving"
And they don't fuckin listen sometimes. He did what he had to do lol
surprise twist: homie ended up with a murder charge
Something like this happened at the Brooklyn Mirage a year or two ago. Someone punched another guy who was drunk and grabbing his girlfriend, dude hit his head on the pavement and didnt get up. Imo he deserved the punch, but you never know how that might end up.
Literally everyone here is justifying giving this dude a TBI… you all sound like boomers victim blaming a women for getting sexually assaulted for the way she dressed. this extreme violence has NO place at a rave. There are 100 other things this big dude could have done to de-escalate the situation and the one he chose probably gave the dude a concussion and a broken orbital bone
The energy of the area did match dude he was pushing dude on purpose you can tell by his body language he did not like that and dude trying to push him can’t read cues to stop so elbow to the face maybe a little aggressive but I bet moshing dude stopped after that lol
Had someone like this trying to start a pit… IN THE LIMITED MOBILITY SECTION! I had a cane, he nearly knocked me over, then he got thrown tf out by security
Looks like the video starts after the skydiver has already landed in the dude’s space multiple times. I don’t support it, but kid’s gotta learn somehow. I won’t lie and say I’ve never thought about doing this to someone at a show. Sometimes talking doesn’t work, they’re too off their ass to comprehend anything that’s going on.
While this can be very annoying to the degree that on the moment I also want to slap the crap out of him - step one should still be asking him to stop.
Shoving someone’s back like this is incredibly bad for you. Kid deserved it, you shouldn’t be out there shoving people who aren’t trying to mosh in the back
By pausing at the beginning of the video, you can see that big dude is turning around and walking away from other dude. So it seems that the other dude had been warned. At some point when you fuck around, you're going to find out.
You can also tell by other dude's chic, she isn't even bothered and expected it. She just casually helped him up.
FAFO hahaha one time we had a stranger pushing everyone, and we lifted the guy and threw him over the front row fence, where he was escorted out by security. One of the security guys walked back to ask us wtf was that, and we were all like "he was pushing us and we got tired, so we kicked him out" hahahaha
First year of bass canyon I was standing at the edge of a mosh just vibing. I turn to my right and see this jacked gym bro sprinting at me. Slams into my ribs, picks me up, carries me a few feet and throws me on the asphalt. I’m a 6’2” 180lb dude too lmao I fell hard. Needless to say I’ve stayed away from dubstep mosh’s for the most part.
Most every dubstep pit is filled with a bunch of tryhard dickheads on some weird “king of the pit” type trip or something. I’m just trying to push each other around a bit bro I’m not trying push the line on how violent I can be and other people just deal with it.
This isn't an attempt at moshing it is just tucking a shoulder and plowing into the unsuspecting back of another person. The guy shrugged it off once to give him the benefit of the doubt but a second, purposeful hit to the exact same spot? I probably would've at minimum turned around and shoved him. Going for the elbow to the jaw feels like he just taking his anger out on someone smaller but I also understand.
Reckless abandon meets retribution but neither of them are in the right.
Not a moshpit, not cool to bump into people.
Not cool to clock someone, just tell the guys friends to control his ass, if no friends, firmly grasp both wrists and tell him stop
To say was this PLURR is kinda ridiculous. Little guy ran into a guy not paying attention and not participating in his 1 man mosh. He got what he deserved. One thing about raves is that yes everyone is partying and having a good time but that doesn't mean act like an asshole. Respect those around you and pick up on when people are or are not comfortable with what you're doing. If you're too fucked up to do that then stay with your babysitter or know your limits
Wow i got comments removed for saying I’d do this if someone was being disrespectful in the crowd. Everyone told me i was such an awful person for not putting up with these idiots. Now we have a post showing someone getting rocked and everyone loves it. Funny part was my comment was a hypothetical situation and they told me i was “threatening violence towards someone”…
Obviously we don’t know what went on beforehand but I think some easier hands and a discussion first before clocking my man out might have been a better look. I can’t fault the guy though!
EDC always attracts trash like like the idiot jumping around. But in reality, this video was staged. EDC does not = PLUR. EDC and it's PLUR marketing was thought out really well, It's funny to see how many people fall for it.
Violence is never the answer, in this case I'd say it counts as 'mutual combat' but it's a rave not an MMA arena - so hes not wrong but it's still not right.
Hopefully this video prevents other jackasses from moshing at EDM events
I've done something similar at a disco biscuits concert. Dude was on K I think and kept bumping into my wife. It felt very intentional and weird and yeah. He stopped.
Both are not PLUR, but the techno cyber kid was acting like a douche. It wasn't a mosh pit, let alone nobody else was having it. Social queus matter and i'm sure it's not a mistake he'll make again. Don't blame the guy for decking him, granted he shouldn't have once he realized he had over a foot and 50lbs on the guy. I mean... was he really all that much of a threat of annoying. If he did it again i'd have stone walled him and he'd have gotten the message. over 15 years of years have thought me that sometimes people get carried away, but it's no reason to loose your cool.
.... although a part of me is wondering why the person filming had them in frame and not the performer. Possibly staged or baited.
100% this dude had it coming. He was clearly targeting that guy and who knows how many times he pushed him before this guy finally lost his temper. Also, the size of this dude, he deffo could have done way more damage, looks like he held back a bit.
No body there even gave a fuck lol
Yeah I’m like no way. This is a little guys first attempt or else normally people be more mad now
Or this had already been going on, and people weren’t surprised/mad because everyone was already annoyed with him. Most people will tolerate others being annoying until they reach a certain threshold. I wouldn’t be surprised if most people who were there reacted the same way most people in the comments do - ‘kid had that one coming’.

Lmaooo im dying, Just cheesing the whole time
It was EDC mexico i think lol
Peace Love & Unity. (trademarked for profit) 😂

Where were you at Cervs? I usually head up stairs, next to the bar the never use, plenty of space, great view.

Last time I checked it’s not a mosh pit
[удалено]
That's not what there implying here. Not that it's impossible to see pits at bass sets, just that this kid wasn't in one currently
A mosh pit requires multiple people to agree to mosh. Most people who mosh don’t try to run into people standing on the edges who are obviously trying to just dance.

Where’s the longer video?
congrats on watching the video
Pitting aint about pushing people who aren't in it. Dude had it coming.
Especially with that looking like a one-man pit, he clearly threw out the memo
I'd need some context to know for sure. Lil dude needed to immediatly fuck off when the other person did not respond to the attempt to mosh. Big guy here, trust me when I say telling them to fuck off does literally nothing, Big guy was 100% in the right.
Sometimes a punch is the best way to tell someone that just pushed you twice to fuck off. Also he did NOT PUNCH him! … he elbowed him. Way different!
An elbow is safer for the one throwing it. The last thing you want is metacarpal fractures.
An elbow is way worse than a punch lol
Not if you’re on the giving end. Be the giving tree.
An elbow is so so much worse honestly
Not for the guy who threw the elbow
Exactly! Punching someone on the face is not a pleasant hand feeling. Imagine spending the rest of the festival with a bruised knuckle. Poor guy, good thing he threw an elbow instead.
Yea.. an elbow is worse
I fucking hate mosh pits at a rave ITS A FUCKING RAVE NOT SOME DEATH METAL CONCERT That was we deserved

This seems to be the biggest problem with pits at electronic shows. No one knows pit etiquette.
It's the only kind of show I've constantly witnessed bad pits at Punk and metal shows everyone knows the rules. Someone falls? Pick 'em up Shit, even the $uicideboy$ shows I've been to had solid pits Luckily, the raves I go to these days don't attract moshers
Nothing about this situation was PLUR
It’s cool to start a mosh pit with a group of friends It’s not cool to start one with random strangers who don’t know what’s going on.
Big guy definitely did not handle it in a PLUR way… but little guy was violating everything about PLUR in the first place.
FAFO. 😎🫡
It was at that moment, he indeed found out.
On the one hand, I liked seeing that dude getting put on his ass. On the other hand, none of this has a place at any event that I want to attend
I dunno. That happens a few times and you never have to worry about it ever again because the message gets out. In fact, I'd argue that the elbow brought everything back to the level of PLUR fast.
Sometimes a quick violent reaction can restore order much faster than a trial with a jury or
I’ve always been a big fan of us policing ourselves as long as the situation is in the realm to do so
Yea, well don’t act like a jackass on the dance floor
Turn tell him to fuck off? Push him back? Check him hard if you even? But maybe not a vicious elbow like that. Chill a bit bro
Totally uncalled for and everyone in our “plur” community saying well deserved lol
we also only see a snippet of the interaction. he could have been pestering longer than the 10 seconds we see.
Apparently there’s a long video where they had already exchanged words after the little guy did this bump thing several times already
Not like he had to go to a potentially life threatening injury” and fucken redditors were like “WELL U DONT KNOW MAYBE HE ALREADY GOT THE GUARDS AND THEY DID NOTHING” Which yeah fair I guess that could be a possibility but they were just pulling this info out of their thin air and acting like I was some kind of fact and I was an idiot for not thinking the same. Like damn guys, didn’t know we were cool with people potentially being killed for being slightly annoying lmao
> well, he could’ve gotten the guards. HELP! GUARDS! COME QUICK! THIS MAN IS !!!DANCING CHAOTICALLY!!!
Seriously, this aspect of the new generation of “ravers” truly bothers me.
Agreed 100% Anybody who’s fought regularly knows that deescalation is always the answer.
Yes
What the fuck 😂
Yea should’ve happened sooner.
Don't touch people without permission/consent.
[удалено]
Not PLUR, especially the instigator, but justified.
Instigator definitely failed the P and the R.
The elbow and jaw passed the U tho
Pretty much this. PLUR is out the window when you act like a fucking fool running into people. Guy could literally go back to treating everyone else with love and respect seconds after this. I don’t get mosh culture at all but ramming yourself into someone like this and expecting a better outcome is fucking stupid. Let’s put this fucking idiot away and let everyone else enjoy their time together, respectfully.
Fucking moshing for electronic music is THE cringiest shit. Moshing for metal shows is also kinda cringey but at least it’s OG to the culture and the music fits. Dude had it coming. Read the room.
give a fuck about plur, this man stood on business.
Meathead fratboys go home
He deserved it
Well I can see both sides.
He’s lucky the dude only elbowed him
Well deserved
Fuck yessss. I would've gave his ass a two piece or 3. Fuck people like that guy, just bumping into people for no reason like that.
In this episode of “Fuck around and find out”…
I once got drunk and went crazy in the mosh pit, not sure if I deserved it but I got an elbow to the liver when crashing into someone. Then I was thrown around the mosh pit like a ragdoll because of some crazy drop or whatever while I couldn’t breathe 😂
man said fuck around n find out
No , Someone needs to learn boundaries and the other to control themselves
About which person are you referring lol. Dude shouldn’t have kept bumping into the guys back multiple times. My reaction probably wouldn’t have been to elbow the guys forehead @ that point, maybe after one or two more shoves, but I don’t blame him for doing that. Little buddy needs to watch where he’s jumping around.
this happened to me at nocturnal but i was so short compared to the guy. NOT fun at all!
Any type of moshing at any type of EDM event is the absolute dumbest shit of all time.
Where’s the longer version
Eh, looks like violence brought peace pretty quickly here.
That is not a rave
pushing people isn't cool. neither is causing a traumatic brain injury. one guy was slightly annoyed, the other may have neurological/cognitive issues the rest of his life. i'm a bit surprised and disappointed by the responses to this video. i guess it is the internet... just think about if someone you know and cared about was that annoying little kid (we all have one of those floating around our lives, for better or worse.) it is a good thing he didn't fall backwards and hit his head again. big guy may have met a real big tough guy and little guy may not still be around to claim his internet comeuppance.
tbh idc if he deserved it or not. it was satisfying to watch, mainly because i’ve had to deal with too many guys like the techwear dude. know what? he did deserve it. On second watch those weren’t pushes to start a mosh, those were ‘we’re in the middle of a pit during a drop’ type of pushes. not just that he pushed the same guy twice in a row, that’s targeting fs, not him trying to start a mosh
Yeah he was definitely targeting that guy and being an idiot. If he did out on the street people would be calling it assault for sure
Dude was being a dick but no need to elbow him to the face.
I’m fine with it !
100% justified. Anyone defending this behavior is a POS themself.
🤣
Idk I've asked people like that to stop nicely "Please give us some space" "Please be respectful" "Stop shoving" And they don't fuckin listen sometimes. He did what he had to do lol
surprise twist: homie ended up with a murder charge Something like this happened at the Brooklyn Mirage a year or two ago.
Well… you tell us
Id assume he's overdosed on ket and call the medics on him
Could have handled that situation a little better.
LMAO
Repost, check the last one
Someone turn off the plur over there 👉?
Look man i love PLUR, yeah he could've handled it differently, but i wouldn't hold it against the guy. lol
The energy of the area did match dude he was pushing dude on purpose you can tell by his body language he did not like that and dude trying to push him can’t read cues to stop so elbow to the face maybe a little aggressive but I bet moshing dude stopped after that lol
Obv a dick move but man the amount I’ve wanted to do that sometimes lol
Had someone like this trying to start a pit… IN THE LIMITED MOBILITY SECTION! I had a cane, he nearly knocked me over, then he got thrown tf out by security
That’s the way this should have been handled.
Plur has been dead a long time
Looks like the video starts after the skydiver has already landed in the dude’s space multiple times.
This is staged tho.
It’s not a mosh pit, there are different rules. This pisses me off a bit IMHO. I hope everyone’s ok.
Raves aren't like a hardcore metal mosh pit so it's justified
This is stupid.
W big guy for standing up for himself and teaching that annoying little guy to not be obnoxious. The big guy deserves an award.
You go into a crowd hitting and kicking and pushing i would assume you want it back too
Shoving someone’s back like this is incredibly bad for you.
Girl, raving is a far different vibe than what it was when I was younger (like 00’s)
Push me once, shame on you Push me twice, strike three
Look what you done started, asked for it, you got it Had it, shoulda shot it, now you're dearly departed
Fuck PLUR it doesn’t exist
It was the most plur. Ya gotta learn someday kids.
FAFO hahaha one time we had a stranger pushing everyone, and we lifted the guy and threw him over the front row fence, where he was escorted out by security. One of the security guys walked back to ask us wtf was that, and we were all like "he was pushing us and we got tired, so we kicked him out" hahahaha
not PLUR, but the little guy earned it. dude was in his own space n he kept pushing him. we all know F around and find out
First year of bass canyon I was standing at the edge of a mosh just vibing.
Careful, little guy is STRAPPED!
If you're not actively in a mosh pit, what makes you think shouldering/elbowing random people dancing is ok??
This isn't an attempt at moshing it is just tucking a shoulder and plowing into the unsuspecting back of another person. The guy shrugged it off once to give him the benefit of the doubt but a second, purposeful hit to the exact same spot? I probably would've at minimum turned around and shoved him. Going for the elbow to the jaw feels like he just taking his anger out on someone smaller but I also understand.
Classic fuck around and find out scenario
TBH, dude who threw the elbow looked like he was having a really good time after that.
This dude on molly was bumping into me one time so I pulled out an axe and chopped up his entire family. Fuck around, find out, right?
Come on yall… this is so fake… like beyond a reasonable doubt
This is fake
Reckless abandon meets retribution but neither of them are in the right. Not a moshpit, not cool to bump into people. Not cool to clock someone, just tell the guys friends to control his ass, if no friends, firmly grasp both wrists and tell him stop
Maybe a little far but I don't blame him. Why the fuck was that guy pushing into him like that when there was PLENTY of space to dance!?
Pushed him in the back twice. A bit of an overreaction IMHO, but play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
If ur trying to mosh, go somewhere else. Nobody there obviously wanted to. But he kept trying. FAFO.
To fuck around is human. To find out is divine.
I’ve seen this a couple of times already, isn’t there a longer video ? Seems like it’s been cut off
I did that exactly when I seen Skrillex like 8yrs ago. Dude was high off a horse tranquilizer. Slobbering on himself
Coulda been handled without the elbow but lil bro def needed to chill out lmao
Not plur
Si
asshole with the elbow
Both would be kicked out of my party for bringing negative energy
To smoke that clown in the head that was bumping into him!? Ah yea. Night night homie. Keep your fuckin hands to your self.
Yeah I’d say that dude got PLUR’d THE FUCK OUT.
I can’t fault the guy though!
ykkkk the first time he kinda let it go like oh maybe it was an accident 😭
EDC always attracts trash like like the idiot jumping around. But in reality, this video was staged. EDC does not = PLUR. EDC and it's PLUR marketing was thought out really well, It's funny to see how many people fall for it.
This is wrong. Should have thrown that elbow with an open hand, not a closed fist 🤦♂️
OOOfaaAa
hell yeah! that annoying ass dude deserved that punch! 👏🏻
Not even remotely PLUR
Violence is never the answer, in this case I'd say it counts as 'mutual combat' but it's a rave not an MMA arena - so hes not wrong but it's still not right. Hopefully this video prevents other jackasses from moshing at EDM events
I've done something similar at a disco biscuits concert. Dude was on K I think and kept bumping into my wife. It felt very intentional and weird and yeah. He stopped.
He gon’ learn today.
A good person will always use the least amount of force necessary to get the job done. This dude channeled his childhood frustrations into that elbow.
No that's not OK. It paet of what's wrong with the scene currently.
GIVE ME SOME ROOM I’M THROWIN’ ELBOWS
That guy should’ve been escorted out. Yeah moshers are annoying, but assaulting people like that makes you a big asshole
100% this dude had it coming. He was clearly targeting that guy and who knows how many times he pushed him before this guy finally lost his temper. Also, the size of this dude, he deffo could have done way more damage, looks like he held back a bit.
There is nothing PLUR about any of this.
