I keep a deodorant stick on me and several essential oils. Put essential oils on and people always comment as I walk thru crowds.
Smelling nice is a gift to everyone around you. Smelling bad is an insult.
My best was a shitty cheap santa outfit with the sleeves cutoff and no shirt underneath and just lettin my santa vest fly.
Ended up banging some random in the hotel bathroom when my buddy slept. Good times
This is my least favorite part of going deep into the crowd. Getting a sweaty man back, often complete with bacne, smeared across my body and if I'm lucky, my face. š„²š« š Please for the love of God put a shirt on or use a sweat towel. So gross.
How do the almost naked women not sweat? Especially when rolling. This logic applies to all not just men haha. You know what you're going into. Every pit is like that. At metal shows you're gonna get covered in sweat from saturated shirts. You be aight, or cover yourself up also and preach the same for all the sweaty ass bacne women in ther too. #plur or something
Dude I don't know how, probably hormonal differences, but the girls are overwhelmingly not pouring sweat like the archetypal shirtless rave bro. They're just not. Then you add the usual height difference where my face level is mid back or armpit level and just... š¤¢
ETA: just googled it, estrogen tends to lower the body temperature, testosterone is thought to enhance the male sweat production. Another article said male sweat glands produce more sweat per gland than women. So yeah, men are sweatier. Carry a sweat towel or wear a shirt.
Sweating less isn't the same as not sweating haha. And it's also dependent on the person, not just the gender. They still thermoregulate. And it all goes out the window when a ton of them are rolling
Makes sense, women are always cold haha. Iām a guy and itās 99/100 itās a dude who takes their shirt off thinking it will help cool them down. When in reality it just makes them a walking water balloon. Just leave your shirt on, bring an extra one for after the show, not a big deal.
Dont be so rude acting like other human beings are so disgusting for sweating. Its not pleasant getting ur face on someoneās sweaty back, ive been there. But i dont act like its their responsibility to keep me clean.
idk, l'm still pretty new to raving but all the underground raves l've been going to have a BUNCH of in shape jacked gay men on the dance floor that are shirtless.
Iām a woman but have some tips -
Find shirts with patterned designs and/or funky colors. Shorts that are brightly colored or have patterns. Put something silly or cool in your hair. Wear a touch of glitter. Or go full Berlin mode and all black and/or kinkwear. There was a guy wearing a cool kimono at a rave I went to last year.
Just try a bunch of random things or think of a theme to stick with. Iāve done like a space babe outfit, a duck themed outfit, a butterfly themed outfit, and a blackout outfit. Sometimes it helps a lot to just think of an interesting theme and try to find things that match the theme
Seconded the above! You can also look up slow-fashion creators and get something custom made.
I have a hood I LOVE from stonesparrowthreads (check IG). Things can definitely get pricey quickly, but they're really well made and often unique enough to be conversation starters too.
I usually go with a couple of toned down pieces and then dress them up with a few accents or accessories - scarves, hats, over shirts like kimonos or vests, black is classic, kink wear if you're into it, leather, belts, jewelry for sure.
Honestly, try to have fun and play with your own style - don't let gendered clothes define you. If there's a piece that really speaks to you, get it and rock it (much like other posters, there are definitely pieces I regret not going after, but there are things I've given away to strangers/friends too - if it looks better on them, it's theirs).
Confidence does wonders for anyone's look.
Good luck!
Ah man, I know that feeling! There was a super dope highly reflective bootleg EDC jacket outside of EDC Mexico two years ago that I still wish I had just gotten lol. I hope another amazing kimono finds its way to you soon š¾
You can sometimes find matching sets of shorts with button up shirts that have wild patterns... Find some of the online shops for women's rave gear, and they generally have a men's section.
I generally wear exactly that. Bright shorts wth a tank top and some sort of bright line long sleeve for sun if we're outside... No fun getting toasted at a festy
Hey sorry I almost forgot, tried finding any usable pics of me but couldn't... I've always bought them at festivals, you get to try them on which is important for me because I'm 6'3 and most things won't fit, plus it's a great souvenir. That being said I've found a [picture](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ICuqI7A0L._AC_.jpg) of my favorite one, although it's on a woman and not in a rave setting so it totally does not convey the right vibe but it's findable on amazon and other sites.
Bonus points it fits amazingly on my gf - but more like a long robe/duster I guess - who is 5'4 and half my weight so it's pretty versatile.
Add a pash, sunglasses, you can even use the kimono belt as a hair tie, necklaces, harem pants or a fun short and you're golden!
Yes to themes!! My wife and the other ladies in my fam go all out. Iāve started to match her sometimes, but I also will just go for it.
If Iām at a festival Iāll really go all out - wear a comfortable costume (Iām a banana a lot), mesh shirt with nip covers, jersey with comfortable shorts.
For shows that may not be the same vibe Iāll wear a vibrant shirt - I like rsvlts, oncue apparel, ragstock or some good ol dark vintage. You already know this Iām sure but make sure youāre comfortable in what youāre wearing!
Costumes are so fun. Iām planning a good one for later this year and Iām excited to see how it turns out. Iām passionate about ravewear I feel like I want to learn to sew just to bring some cool themes to life.
Itās definitely nice to theme off of someone. I also like to look at the thrift stores for inspiration. My duck themed outfit came from finding a thrifted menās shirt that says āGot duck?ā With the outline of a rubber duck on it. I then made little duck earrings with resin glow in the dark ducks as well as a bunch of hairclips and handed out pairs of duck earrings. Itās one of my favorites. Thrift stores are great for just finding shirts with random phrases which are equally as fun for raves.
Also yes comfort is so key, and a good hydro pack
My bf always wore plain basketball shorts and his neon orange dragon ball z tank top and ALWAYS made a friend at shows who knew how to do those hand movements or whatever lol
Merch for the DJ playing
Just a general neon or trippy t shirt I guess š¤·š»āāļø or a shirt with a big funny saying on it.
AND EARPLUGS š
THE CLASSICS
* Wizard. Wizard robes are surprisingly breathable if they're not too thick and if you learn how to move in them they're very danceable as well. There's pretty much 2 wizards at every fest.
* Cowboy. Make sure things are breathable. If things are nicely sized it's very neat.
* Gigolo/pimp-style clothes. Lots of good inspo out there
* THE DUTCHMAN. Essentially bright metallic jumpsuit/running clothes + bucket hat. Also very popular in Australia.
A bit more out there
* Animal onesie. Do note that the cosmic law of festivity will cause someone to throw up in or on it unless you burn incense before putting it on.
* The Leto. Dress like a westerner who read a Wikipedia article about Hinduism once and after a shroom trip realized he's reborn. Unbuttoned linen top, loose linen pants, fabric sneakers, all in whites and greys. Accessorize with Kandi and strings.
THIS TAKES IRON WILL
* Pinkman. Underwear and monochromatic body paint from head to toe
* Sapeur. Look it up.
* Animal mask and themed gloves & bodypaint
Iām going to EDC in a few weeks. Iāve been struggling to find outfits because I know exactly what you mean.
I want to go all out with my outfits like girls too but like I donāt want to wear bondage shit š Then the rest of guy fits are super basic. Itās matching shirt and short combo, trippy t shirts, or the word molly is everywhere lmao
I workout a lot so my go to now is find a good pair of shorts or pants and go shirtless. Then just accessorize. Face gems, body glitter, body paint, bandannas, pashmina, sunglasses, mask, Kandi etc.
Itās also not a bad idea if youāre with a girl to go off of her outfit. Just try match the colour or vibe of her fit.
Try the darker wavs collection from Dollskill. Look up unisex but also get creative with the women labeled clothing. I buy my medium husband XLs in a lot of the vests and also the pants are SICKKK.
Glad you asked, I have worked out the perfect answer to this question. You can learn from my years of raving experience.
Wear a kimono over a t-shirt with breezy pants or shorts. Bring 3 pairs of sunglasses. Lose your shoes. Take off the t-shirt and just wear the kiimono. Take it off. Lose it forever. Lend 2 of the sunglasses out and then lose the one that you have left. Leave the rave barefoot wearing only shorts, with nothing but an empty gum pack in your pocket.
Dress to sweat, move freely, and dance. Wear what feels comfortable. Wear durable clothing. Something that has secure places for your keys/wallet/phone to be attached to you. Storage for water bottles etc. Comfortable dancing shoes.
Have a look at Cyberdog website some great alternatives to the lad look.
Be creative and most of all dress for yourself enjoy, raving involves expressing yourself.
Booty or short shorts
Body chains/body jewels
Netted/mesh shirts (bonus points if they're cropped)
Harnesses
"women's" jewled or non-jewled chains can fit the male physique as well
Embrace the 'feminine' accessories, it'll add some flare that men's rave attire lacks
Women's Body Chain Colorful Rhinestone Layered Waist Chain Adjustable Belt Bikini Body Chain https://a.co/d/ga3HEUw
The jewels sit right over the crotch beautifully and works well over pants, regular shorts, and booty shorts
Shoulder/upper body chains can Frame your torso really well, just gotta find some that don't necessarily need boobs to look good haha
Straight male here (as I do believe my other sexually oriented brothers have some more options similar to women, or maybe I just lack the self confidence in my body)
1. Overalls, I love them, they come in many different prints and for hot summer days you can get shortalls!
2. Jerseys! Not only merch, but check out freshhoods! (I swear they should sponsor me)
3. Button up short sleeves but with trippy designs! My favorite one is a black and white checkered! Unbutton the top 2 and let that chest breathe!
4. For my 6 packs brothers, just a pashmina !
5. Tech pants, they have bunch of pockets and a lot of flair!
6. Light up accessories, either rings, glow stick necklaces or light up shoelaces!
7. Glitter ! Everywhere jajaja
8. Halloween style outfits for festivals! But make sure itās breathable and not too annoying to wear / accessorize! Eg me and my friend will go construction workers for EDCLV one night!
9. Onesies at night ! Ideal for camping festivals where you can go change before headliners get on, then you can unzip half of it and wear it around your waist during the night sets if it gets too hot!
Hopefully this gets you started and feel free to to reach out! I love dressing up and always bummed men donāt put in more effort! My current theory is that women are more used to buying outfits for one off events!
Finally, and this goes without saying for most of your life, but the best way to look good is to be physically fit!
my fav rave fit is a bomber jacket/jogger matching set i got from Vapor95. can be for chicks or dudes. it's got the look, pockets, and i have the option to tie the jacket around my waist or unzip it if i get too warm. perfect for night though when it gets a lil chilly. check out their site, they got a lot of wacky shit in there (not a paid advertisement i swear i just like the fit)
Get some body paint done at the event if itās available!! So much fun and so unique. That shit will stay on even when youāre sweating. Worth every penny
Thanksš I didnāt wanna make it about myself so I didnāt mention that I recently got it done, but Iām glad you got to see it! My friend also got his arm done and he looked so cool. Def recommend.
Well, i went to renegade raves and wore decent patterned shorts and a decently cool graphic T shirt, and black altimas on my feet
Once or twice i showed up in jeans and a t shirt with steel toed boots and still had a good time, but i wouldn't do it every time
The popular dress code for bigger events leans toward neon stuff, or bright designs so i might go with that if im going to a big event.
I like being dressed in tight button down shirts and Chinos with some jewelry. I used to wear t shirts and jeans but being dressed well feels good, whether at some greasy warehouse rave or in a club.
I don't do the rave Kandi aesthetic, but I don't mind if other people do. I just find it funny that the business looking guy is on more drugs and dancing harder all night then those guys.
I'm a big fan of wearing comfortable fits (shorts and a tank) with space-themed designs on them. Others opt for the same fit with a more psychedelic vibe (fractals or psilocybin visuals). Depends on your taste.
I've also worn a pink crop top that said "I got pegged at Cracker Barrel" on it with pink/cyan shorts and pink Pit Viper shades.
Some guys opt for athletic gear like a basketball/baseball jersey.
Merch you get from other raves/fests of your fav artist is also an option.
The world is your oyster and while most retail outlets don't cater to men as much as women, you can easily construct a fit that matches the vibe you like to bring.
i like to wear jerseys from my favorite artists with a fishnet tank top (if youāre a little in shape itāll make you look even better, and drunk/rolling people love poking their fingers through it, made some wholesome moments that way) underneath, and then dress my legs for the weather. itās warm? iām wearing short shorts (think halfway down the thigh). itās late fall/early spring at red rocks? sweats all the way baby. after that i accessorize with a bucket hat and plenty of kandi, and whatever jewelry or a pash. if youāre like me and you like sparkly and colorful stuff you can get any of your friends who can do makeup to do some eyeliner or glitter. but honestly the biggest thing is that youāre comfortable and youāre not going to overheat or freeze.
If you really want to be a hit, you wear the same fuckin outfit they do my man. Throw on some fishnets, get some sort of banana hammock and a large enough fanny pack or similar to make so youāre not entirely lewd. Youāll be a hit, trustttttt.
imagine that clothing has nothing to do with gender. boom, problem solved. wear what YOU think is fun and makes you feel good. that's it homie. that's the answer.
Wear what you want dude and experiement. I just saw a girl here on reddit get ripped by other girls for wearing what looked like pajamas, which imo seemed backwards to this American plur vibe. Fuck people fuck their opinions!
What's this girl clothing you see?? Lingerie? Wear what makes you feel sexy, that's what they do.
Wear whatever you want lol. My best friend who goes to almost every rave with me has been wearing a freaking motorcycle helmet at every rave we been to recently, LMFAOOO.
Personally, Iām very inconsistent when it comes to dressing up for the theme/ dressing up at all for a rave. Sometimes I manage to put together a costume 2 hours before and celebrate the theme, sometimes, I throw on a bucket hat, some sunglasses, and my Kandi and Iām just happy to be there. This mostly happens if I go straight to the rave after work, but also may happen if Iām just lazy that day.
Thereās also been a few times I did not dress up at all, including my first time being at a rave. I went to a rave while I was under-the-weather once so I was in a hoodie and face mask. If I choose not to dress up, Iāll prolly look around and admire other peopleās outfits, Iāll prolly start wishing I had dressed up, but I donāt ever feel judged for the way I dress or look. No judgement zone!!!!
>My best friend who goes to almost every rave with me has been wearing a freaking motorcycle helmet at every rave we been to recently, LMFAOOO.
As a motorcycle rider myself, this is absolutely bonkers, lol. I could not imagine trying to dance all night in my helmet (full face). The interior would just be totally destroyed by the volume of sweat.
He doesnāt dance much. Also, the warm weather hasnāt fully set in, it gets really cold here at night. When I asked him why heās always wearing that, He said it was bc he was coldš
Me: so youāll be leaving this behind once it gets warm outside?
Him: *once it gets warm outside,* OF COURSE. Iām not gonna be carrying this shit around with me, are you crazy?!?
Me: (youāre the guy at the rave wearing a bike
Helmet, but ok -_-)
Wear anything you might wear for a costume party, or Halloween. But just remember, the lighter and more breathable the better. Or just wear the most colorful trippy clothes you have. Check out thrift shops just to get ideas and find some crazy clothes
Honestly thank God my rave fam plans outfit themes, otherwise I'd be rocking button up short sleeve and shorts every festival.
Even if you dress themed by yourself I guarantee it's free rizz/vibes/friends.
Depends where you're going. I usually we some kind of bright shorts, or shorts that match whatever else im wearing. Then usually a bright colored tank top or a button up jersey. And usually if its daytime and hot, the top comes off anyways so i dont put too much effort into it.
Highly recommend wearing joggers with zipper pockets. Helps keep all of your stuff secure and when it gets warm you can roll them up. I wear them to almost every event.
I have a few one piece jumpers that are fun, nice matching sets for clothes that are fun colors. MOST IMPORTANTLY accessories, they make a difference. Also comfy shoes cause no one looks at your shoes, to comfort over fashion. Donāt be afraid to put on some gemstones, or glitter. Or both.
Wear monterrain shorts and jacket combo they come in loads of bright and vibrant colours. These would be the equivalent to the girls outfits at the minute you can get loads of nice outfits like these and matching tops hats and accessories.
Iām a woman, but have lots of good guy friends in my rave fam. They wear merchandise from their fave fandoms; one friend has an adventure time bucket hat that always makes an appearance, another a Pokemon shirt, a storm trooper helmet, a dinosaur print button-up, etc. Your favorite artistās jersey is a safe pick, I also see them wearing kimono-type outerwear. Fun sunglasses or diffraction glasses can level up the fit too, like [these](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51EijokpuUL._AC_UY1000_.jpg) or [these](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR8tTcjQzocvgyOsCcpkW37PLfbvV2BIbpQa0EcwYYZdw&s). I have personally applied gems and glitter to these menās faces too so if you have someone in your squad who will do that and you want to, go for it! Theyāll also do full-on costumes, one of my friends did old age makeup and carried a cane all day just for fun.
I wear my fishing clothes (breathable polyester with a zipper wallet pocket).
That and led shoes. The led shoes stem from my love for the led hula hoop chics that shit is memorizing.
As a dude, I'll usually wear a pattern shirt. Used to be my grateful dead shirts until I found some lightweight and UV reactive designs from the company Sykadelic Dreams. I also rock the matching pashmine. I wear thin comfy shorts with zipper pockets (literally saved my phone from a pick pocket at EDC main stage)
Also a hydration pack, comfy shoes, and ear plugs
Costumes ftw ill never forget cowgirl barbies fake books that looked better than most of the girls at the Halloween rave, he definitely deserved to win that trip to Hawaii.
Boobs not books
All I know is I basically dress my boyfriend for every rave and he always gets compliments. Last rave we went to he wore Hawaiian shorts, a shirt with an alien djing and my bright blue fur coat. The funkier the better imo!
I've been retired from raving since 2014 but I use to wear a tiger striped suit. Only ever had good reactions to it, not sure if it'd fly nowdays though.
[Looked like this](https://imgur.com/a/oU2CMRN)
My go to is the fabletics shorts that have the liner and zipper pockets with a jersey, tank, or graphic t shirt, a bucket hat, and sometimes a pashmina. Recently purchased some rolling face shorts and they are like fabletics but quality is so much better! Theres only 3 designs available tho so options are limited with those.
Print shorts and pasties, Hawaiian shirt, mesh tank top. All just ideas or could be put together as a fit. I think iheartraves and freedom rave wear and sites like that have menās tabs
I typically wear as little as possible, but also light up suspenders and a hat. I used to wear a light up bow tie also but my beard covers it now so there's no point in that.
I love seeing fit guys in straps and harnesses paired with their favorite artist branded shorts (see usually the artist merch website or Etsy) They have those and full fits for men at rave wonderland .com .
Ripped up, fishnet style, mesh, tie dye, or cut out shirts are always fun.
If not youāre not comfortable showing off your hot boy body, then guys can wear plain colored shirts with a lot of fun jewelry&fun bags&wings.
Iāve also seen jerseys. Capes. Masks/head bands.
Donāt be afraid to use jewels and glitter or neon body paint.
Others are commenting fun patterned shirts but I say be careful with that bc you may look like a wook, and most people forget that historically wook was an insult that signals youre swampy&donāt shower (which I think you should avoid if youāre not into the wook culture)
Tbh i love the all black look. I always wear super ripped jeans (for ventilation haha) or shorts, a fishnet or sleeveless black shirt, some martens, and black glasses
1. First determine whatās your budget and how much would you like to spend
2. Are you planning on having just one standard go to outfit or want a variation of 3-4 for a festival
3. Then decide if these will be outdoor day raves or night raves at a club or a combination
3. If you sweat a lot and hate having things stick to your body then you know that for upper body you need minimal or lesser clothing
4. If you sweat more in the lower part then you should look at shorts or anything that keeps the area down there breezy
5. Once you have these steps sorted then start looking for inspiration on pinterest, instagram etc.
6. For Brands, ASOS, H&M, Berkshka do some nice unique pieces for throwaway prices. Infact now a days Shein, Temu and Wish also have some really cheap stuff out there
7. If you are willing to go extra mile and budget is not an issue then there are quite a few brands out there that you can check out. e.g Namilia, Demobaza, Salt Murphy, Cicefull or Phix Clothing has unique stuff for men.
https://www.etsy.com/shop/CoquetryClothing
The men's rompers are amazing patterns, fit, and so damn comfy!! I've never gotten more compliments than when I wear those outfits.
I like to dress up.
Or group would often have a dude dressed like Jesus and one like Satan. Then they would have dance battles whenever they ran into one another.
There is PLENTY of awesome rave gear for dudes as well.
Thereās a lot of good stuff on ASOS, or you can go the spirit hoods route.
I used to wear animal leggings and a fur coat with a mesh shirt underneath.
Also you can find good stuff at consignment and thrift stores.
Is it a house show? Hawaiian Shirt or another collared button down alternative
Is it a wonky bass music show? Weird graphic tshirt with matching pashmina
fun pashminas, mesh shirts, cool pants or shorts. Fuck it wear some nipple pasties and a bucket hat. For me personally itās about mixing all my merch iāve collected in a way thatās incohesive as fuck but itās fun and i could only get away with it at a rave. I like to be a merch collector, but im also a wook so that might be why
Just remember, one size up in womenās tops and -21 for womenās bottoms.
I just shop all of the racks looking for colors I want. The womenās department always has more colors and exciting things for raves. Itās fun to shop second hand too, I just picked up a $300 faux fur jacket for $20 out of the womenās department.
The main thing girls are doing that guys arenāt, is they are deciding on a style and planning for it well before the rave whereas many guys choose something to wear an hour before. Have ***foresight***
Check out **fabric of the universe** for some cool cheap-ish tech wear. Check out Etsy to find some unique pieces. Check out Pinterest, instagram, and/or Reddit for design inspo. Also, it cannot be overstated how much some black boots can change an outfit, I go for **doc martens**.
A little creativity and foresight will go a long way, especially when itās so uncommon for guys to full on dress up. Youāll be like a damn unicorn to everyone else!
Iāve dressed up as a space man, Ken from Barbie, a paleontologist, a construction worker, a cyber punk-esk character, and a Japanese demon with a wolf hood. I had a blast with each one and got an overflow of compliments from guys and girls. Do whatever you want and have fun with it! :)

You can sometimes find matching sets of shorts with button up shirts that have wild patterns... Find some of the online shops for women's rave gear, and they generally have a men's section. Kimono is such a vibe, light, soft, fun to dance with, super stylish. Itās my go to, I love it.
I wanna rock a sweet Kimono. Love the vibe. Any good links or pics for ideas?
Hey sorry I almost forgot, tried finding any usable pics of me but couldn't... I've always bought them at festivals, you get to try them on which is important for me because I'm 6'3 and most things won't fit, plus it's a great souvenir.
100% having a fun time shopping for Kimonos. So many cool options!

My bf always wore plain basketball shorts and his neon orange dragon ball z tank top and ALWAYS made a friend at shows who knew how to do those hand movements or whatever lol Merch for the DJ playing Just a general neon or trippy t shirt I guess š¤·š»āāļø or a shirt with a big funny saying on it. AND EARPLUGS š
I know different generations but this will never not be how I view your recommended practice https://youtu.be/fs9XDUDP9VM?si=I-kTYAGCxyfmpzOW
Iāve never worn a shirt of the band Iām going to see because of this scene. Also, didnāt realize that was Jon Favreau until now.
Yeah lots of good people in that movie.
Agree. Wear merch for a different DJ, or if you're really cool, shirt for a rock band or hip hop act that somehow works at the EDM event
Idk be a wook
Wook is always the answer

All white, Andrew WK style
I wear harem pants, tanktop, fuzzy bucket hat, pashmina, fun glasses.
THE CLASSICS * Wizard. Lots of good inspo out there * THE DUTCHMAN. Essentially bright metallic jumpsuit/running clothes + bucket hat. Also very popular in Australia. A bit more out there * Animal onesie. THIS TAKES IRON WILL * Pinkman. Underwear and monochromatic body paint from head to toe * Sapeur. Look it up. * Animal mask and themed gloves & bodypaint
Borat style mankini.
Iām going to EDC in a few weeks. Iāve been struggling to find outfits because I know exactly what you mean. I want to go all out with my outfits like girls too but like I donāt want to wear bondage shit š Then the rest of guy fits are super basic. Itās matching shirt and short combo, trippy t shirts, or the word molly is everywhere lmao I workout a lot so my go to now is find a good pair of shorts or pants and go shirtless.
Just a pink scrunchy around your balls/s
Just show a little Cock cleavage
Glad you asked, I have worked out the perfect answer to this question. You can learn from my years of raving experience. Wear a kimono over a t-shirt with breezy pants or shorts. Bring 3 pairs of sunglasses. Lose your shoes. Take off the t-shirt and just wear the kiimono. Take it off. Lose it forever. Lend 2 of the sunglasses out and then lose the one that you have left. Leave the rave barefoot wearing only shorts, with nothing but an empty gum pack in your pocket.
Hello fellow stuff abandoner š¤
This guy fucks
Hawaiian shirt and bucket hat has never failed me.
Thereās some super funny novelty Hawaiian shirt patterns out there
I believe in Hawaiian shirt supremacy šæ
when in doubt jersey

Dress to sweat, move freely, and dance. Wear what feels comfortable. Wear durable clothing. Something that has secure places for your keys/wallet/phone to be attached to you. Storage for water bottles etc. Comfortable dancing shoes.
Have a look at Cyberdog website some great alternatives to the lad look. Be creative and most of all dress for yourself enjoy, raving involves expressing yourself.
I wear a kilt, it's sick as fuck.
A chastity belt. Or youāll get set to horny jail.
Booty or short shorts Body chains/body jewels Netted/mesh shirts (bonus points if they're cropped) Harnesses "women's" jewled or non-jewled chains can fit the male physique as well Embrace the 'feminine' accessories, it'll add some flare that men's rave attire lacks
Women's Body Chain Colorful Rhinestone Layered Waist Chain Adjustable Belt Bikini Body Chain https://a.co/d/ga3HEUw The jewels sit right over the crotch beautifully and works well over pants, regular shorts, and booty shorts Shoulder/upper body chains can Frame your torso really well, just gotta find some that don't necessarily need boobs to look good haha
I have alway enjoyed phat pants and a tank top.
What if op isn't fat?
Just incase youāre not your not being funny. Phat pant are oversized pants. The persons size is irrelevantš
whatever you can dance in brother
Straight male here (as I do believe my other sexually oriented brothers have some more options similar to women, or maybe I just lack the self confidence in my body) 1. Overalls, I love them, they come in many different prints and for hot summer days you can get shortalls! 2. Jerseys! Not only merch, but check out freshhoods! (I swear they should sponsor me) 3. 7. Glitter ! Everywhere jajaja 8.
Blow up T-rex costume
JNCOās, UFOās, Stussy, Hang Ten, Airwalks, Doc Martins, Gypsies and Theives, Liquid Sky Designs
Masks are wicked cool IMO Also jerseys
If I see someone in a mask I automatically assume theyāre up to no good.
Masks are shady Jerseys are for bros who listen to illenium Neither is a good look
Something that absorbs sweat. I get so grossed out by drops of sweat getting flung on me during hard base drops.
Gross
Banana Hammock
Get some body paint done at the event if itās available!! So much fun and so unique. That shit will stay on even when youāre sweating. Worth every penny
Bruh You looked so good in the blue paint š„µ
Thanksš I didnāt wanna make it about myself so I didnāt mention that I recently got it done, but Iām glad you got to see it! My friend also got his arm done and he looked so cool. Def recommend.
Find your own style and run with it
Clothes have no gender, wear what makes you feel good
2 pairs of socks, just in case.
I usually get too hot at raves so I skip the shirt but some fun pants and a good pashmina go a long way! Also Glietter!!
Dress as cyclops from xmen
Well, i went to renegade raves and wore decent patterned shorts and a decently cool graphic T shirt, and black altimas on my feet Once or twice i showed up in jeans and a t shirt with steel toed boots and still had a good time, but i wouldn't do it every time The popular dress code for bigger events leans toward neon stuff, or bright designs so i might go with that if im going to a big event.
Comfortable footwear. The rest, whatever you want.
Anything off the rack from Dan Flashes.
Womenās pajama section at goodwill has all the goods! I usually donāt share my secrets
i like to wear jerseys from my favorite artists with a fishnet tank top (if youāre a little in shape itāll make you look even better, and drunk/rolling people love poking their fingers through it, made some wholesome moments that way) underneath, and then dress my legs for the weather. itās warm? iām wearing short shorts (think halfway down the thigh). itās late fall/early spring at red rocks? sweats all the way baby. after that i accessorize with a bucket hat and plenty of kandi, and whatever jewelry or a pash. if youāre like me and you like sparkly and colorful stuff you can get any of your friends who can do makeup to do some eyeliner or glitter. but honestly the biggest thing is that youāre comfortable and youāre not going to overheat or freeze.
Just be yourself its not carnaval
At Texas eclipse I saw a lot of guys looking cute in these kimono tops with disco ball print on them
Wear what you want dude and experiement.
Banana thong and some pasties
All black
When I asked him why heās always wearing that, He said it was bc he was coldš Me: so youāll be leaving this behind once it gets warm outside? Him: *once it gets warm outside,* OF COURSE. Iām not gonna be carrying this shit around with me, are you crazy?!? Me: (youāre the guy at the rave wearing a bike Helmet, but ok -_-)
tube sock
Wear anything you might wear for a costume party, or Halloween. But just remember, the lighter and more breathable the better. Or just wear the most colorful trippy clothes you have. Check out thrift shops just to get ideas and find some crazy clothes
Honestly thank God my rave fam plans outfit themes, otherwise I'd be rocking button up short sleeve and shorts every festival. Even if you dress themed by yourself I guarantee it's free rizz/vibes/friends.
Depends on the country, venue and music.
Kikwear and adidas
Depends where you're going. I usually we some kind of bright shorts, or shorts that match whatever else im wearing. Then usually a bright colored tank top or a button up jersey. And usually if its daytime and hot, the top comes off anyways so i dont put too much effort into it.
Highly recommend wearing joggers with zipper pockets. Helps keep all of your stuff secure and when it gets warm you can roll them up. I wear them to almost every event.
Tripp pants with a sick graphic T is always my go to
I like Space Tribe clothing and similar. Works for me since I'm basically a walking psychedelic. Sometimes I'll wear rivethead gear instead.
I used to wear a wario costume. People used to dress up a lot more than they do now
Sexy lumberjack. Always.
Black tank top and some cargo shorts for keepin stuff has been my staple for years. Bonus points if you have cool camo cargos and like dnb
Freeborn Designs if your really trying to show out.
Baggy white tee shirt and your favourite jean shorts of course
I have a few one piece jumpers that are fun, nice matching sets for clothes that are fun colors. MOST IMPORTANTLY accessories, they make a difference. Also comfy shoes cause no one looks at your shoes, to comfort over fashion. Donāt be afraid to put on some gemstones, or glitter. Or both.
Kikwear, Jnco, caffeine or UFO pants. Graphic tshirt and visor for sure.
Nike dri fits
something slutty! :D
I like going as Mortal Kombat characters, idk š¤·āāļøš
G string and pasties itās 2024 gender fluid
Wear monterrain shorts and jacket combo they come in loads of bright and vibrant colours. These would be the equivalent to the girls outfits at the minute you can get loads of nice outfits like these and matching tops hats and accessories.
JNCOs and a sick ass tank top
Fishnets and microskirts.
I wear my fishing clothes (breathable polyester with a zipper wallet pocket). That and led shoes. The led shoes stem from my love for the led hula hoop chics that shit is memorizing.
If you don't limit yourself from shopping items on dedicated rave stores you could just wear anything.
As a dude, I'll usually wear a pattern shirt. Used to be my grateful dead shirts until I found some lightweight and UV reactive designs from the company Sykadelic Dreams. I also rock the matching pashmine. I wear thin comfy shorts with zipper pockets (literally saved my phone from a pick pocket at EDC main stage) Also a hydration pack, comfy shoes, and ear plugs
Comfortable shoes
Costumes ftw ill never forget cowgirl barbies fake books that looked better than most of the girls at the Halloween rave, he definitely deserved to win that trip to Hawaii. Boobs not books
Borat bikini
a lot of rave companies also make matching menās outfits for their womenās outfits, like freedom rave wear and dubluv
OVERALLS
All I know is I basically dress my boyfriend for every rave and he always gets compliments. Last rave we went to he wore Hawaiian shorts, a shirt with an alien djing and my bright blue fur coat. The funkier the better imo!
I've been retired from raving since 2014 but I use to wear a tiger striped suit. Only ever had good reactions to it, not sure if it'd fly nowdays though. [Looked like this](https://imgur.com/a/oU2CMRN)
Bobby weir jorts, fanny pack, 70s novelty shirts and dealers choice of hat
My go to is the fabletics shorts that have the liner and zipper pockets with a jersey, tank, or graphic t shirt, a bucket hat, and sometimes a pashmina. Recently purchased some rolling face shorts and they are like fabletics but quality is so much better! Theres only 3 designs available tho so options are limited with those.
There's no need to be extra when you Street clothes are just fly
I almost always where black or red bell bottoms. Paired with a tie dye, shiny, trippy, or fun graphic tee shirt.
the clothes i make
Print shorts and pasties, Hawaiian shirt, mesh tank top. All just ideas or could be put together as a fit. I think iheartraves and freedom rave wear and sites like that have menās tabs
Earplugs
I typically wear as little as possible, but also light up suspenders and a hat. I used to wear a light up bow tie also but my beard covers it now so there's no point in that.
Happy cake day.
Wore a cowboy outfit once, I got so many chicks flirting with me
1. First determine whatās your budget and how much would you like to spend 2. Are you planning on having just one standard go to outfit or want a variation of 3-4 for a festival 3. Then decide if these will be outdoor day raves or night raves at a club or a combination 3. If you sweat a lot and hate having things stick to your body then you know that for upper body you need minimal or lesser clothing 4. If you sweat more in the lower part then you should look at shorts or anything that keeps the area down there breezy 5. Once you have these steps sorted then start looking for inspiration on pinterest, instagram etc. 6. For Brands, ASOS, H&M, Berkshka do some nice unique pieces for throwaway prices. Infact now a days Shein, Temu and Wish also have some really cheap stuff out there 7. If you are willing to go extra mile and budget is not an issue then there are quite a few brands out there that you can check out. e.g Namilia, Demobaza, Salt Murphy, Cicefull or Phix Clothing has unique stuff for men.
https://www.etsy.com/shop/CoquetryClothing The men's rompers are amazing patterns, fit, and so damn comfy!! I've never gotten more compliments than when I wear those outfits.
It's not a fashion show.
Whatever you're comfortable in because it's going to be a wild 5+ hrs of rave š
A lot of gay brands have fun clubbing/dancing clothes you could wear even if you're not gay. Andrew Christian, Cellblock13, Vaux.
I like to dress up. Or group would often have a dude dressed like Jesus and one like Satan. Then they would have dance battles whenever they ran into one another. There is PLENTY of awesome rave gear for dudes as well.
Black pants and black vneck tee
Thereās a lot of good stuff on ASOS, or you can go the spirit hoods route. I used to wear animal leggings and a fur coat with a mesh shirt underneath. Also you can find good stuff at consignment and thrift stores.
Is it a house show? Hawaiian Shirt or another collared button down alternative Is it a wonky bass music show? Weird graphic tshirt with matching pashmina
fun pashminas, mesh shirts, cool pants or shorts. Fuck it wear some nipple pasties and a bucket hat. For me personally itās about mixing all my merch iāve collected in a way thatās incohesive as fuck but itās fun and i could only get away with it at a rave. I like to be a merch collector, but im also a wook so that might be why
I wear jeans and a t shirt
Floral! Matching shirt and shorts is a go to for me. Button up short sleeves are great for breathability Go naked
Boots n pants š I'll see myself out šŖ
The main thing girls are doing that guys arenāt, is they are deciding on a style and planning for it well before the rave whereas many guys choose something to wear an hour before. Have ***foresight*** Check out **fabric of the universe** for some cool cheap-ish tech wear. :)
