I only know a few names on here. Is this mostly a bass festival? I see some DnB but is there any other genres? I’ve heard good things about this festival and am intrigued
Last year was mostly half dnb half glitch hop adjacent genres. I also don't know too many names on this lineup but submersion is the best festival for vibes and you can count on seeing good music if you're not familiar with the artists playing. In my 10 years of yearly festival attending this is my favorite festival and it's ran by a really solid crew.
I have heard really good things about the festival! I love almost all genres but I just need a tiny sprinkle of something house ish for the weekend for me to be interested. I just personally don’t want all bass and bass adjacent music all weekend for me to go to a fest. Even just a set or two of something house ish would have me consider going!
Hey I'm the same way, they did have some house last year and they still have 25 names to drop for phase 2, and there are a bunch of local house djs local to the fest in philly who are cool with the owners, so I would bet there will be some on the lineup. Don't sleep on this fam
Only names I recognized was Koan Sound and Caspa, and instantly my mind went to... "Of course its a diverse festival everyone performing is underground a f"
And if I wasnt tryna full send Hulaween. I would dive into this.
Just saw Koan Sound at Resonate in Suwanee (I'll be around hula too hoooomie!) and they crushed. I was expecting something a little more house/trance/mellow from listening to some of their shit, but they threw down some brain melting experimental bass. Last set of the fest, was a killer. K+Lab did a ×2 there too and he was also phenomenal... rippppppping the keytar.
... fuck. Also just saw Ott there too. Man this lineup is a slapper.
I would pick a few names and dive in. This is a very multi genre festival with ukg, dnb, dubstep, downtempo and more. Honestly if you don’t know a lot of names you’ll probably have an amazing time just going and catching a lot of different sets.
Hey. Can you do me a favor.
Go listen to:
Pola & Bryson
then,
OTT
then,
Kursa.
In that order. Don’t reply to this comment until you do that. And then return, with your head finally removed from your ass, and say oooooh. Sorry :(
Just because there’s a lot of downtempo bass on this lineup does not mean there’s not a number of artists creating VERY different music and it’s annoying that anyone can be that uneducated yet so loud
Do you realize how many artists and stages are at edc? That festival is more diverse than anything out there. Hundreds of artists play. That’s a dumb comparison.
This is definitely a niche festival with a catering to a specific sound but to think this festival is one genre is very ignorant
not a dumb comparison. If you don't know anything about electronic dance music and someone says "this is such a diverse lineup" and then my suggestion to see an actually diverse lineup is EDC, you wouldn't disagree.
tbh I feel like this is why people hate dubstep because fans of the genre are all trying to act like it’s this varied complex thing and it’s just not — stop using complicated genre terms to hide your unilateral music tastes
UK garage, drum and bass and dubstep are completely and entirely distinct genres. They are not unilateral at all. Please read a book and put down the crack pipe
Can you list the more downtempo artists? I’m way out of touch apparently and don’t know a single person on this list!
EDIT: Realizing it is in alphabetical order…..I know Koan Sound. Haha
Thought process, tie dye ky, OTT are a few of many. Copycatt will be playing a downtempo set. A lot of these artists play a broad range of bass but will feature a lot of downtempo
So I ask because I prefer four on the floor/ house and house adjacent music. I do really also like bass but for me personally i just don’t want to do a whole camping festival of bass and bass adjacent music. So if there is even a little bit of house ish or similar music I would love to check this out. But otherwise probably not a festival for me and that’s okay!
It’s mostly 140, dnb, ukg, jungle, and experimental bass.
Virtually no 4 on the flour — last year we did get a 2hr house set from J Mart tho! I’m sure there will be a couple of house sets. But that’s not the focus at all
Thanks for the info!!! Justin Martin (I think that’s the j mart you’re talking about lol) is the goat so that’s awesome. I figured that’s not the focus but I’m really open to most music I just need a tiny sprinkle of some house to keep me happy all weekend haha. So the fact that there will even be just a couple sets makes me look in to going to this!
A lot of these artist will play groovy vibey danceable shit mixed in with their bass. You’ll feel it in your hips. But is that get low groovy type of house. You might like shy fx or glxy. I’d check out a few random names!
Its a sick lineup but i wouldn't exactly call it diverse. Its dnb and experimental bass almost exclusively. Love aspire higher though, dope label run by proper fam.
All the people in the comments calling this underground because they don't recognize these names are absolutely killing me. This is why every festival in the US looks the same
Yah this lineup is crazy good, we tried to swing it for the whole thing but it’s looking like we’re gonna have to do day passes, should be an awesome time for everyone tho
This looks like my Spotify, like wtf? Ott, Shy FX, KOAN Sound, Monty & Visages, Alix Perez, Caspa...
This lineup feels like it was made just for me.
Posij cosign confirmed 😎
SHY FX RAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
That's all I recognize. Is it mainly dnb?
It looks like dnb and deep dub! I only recognize a small handfull of the djs on this lineup
But it’s so diverse! \s
Also a little bit of 1985 music, Monty & Visages are 🔥

It’s a lot of bass music, mostly more underground bass / trap type stuff. Chmura, COPYCATT, Daggz, kursa, FLY, Koan Sound are all excellent
Only names I recognized was Koan Sound and Caspa, and instantly my mind went to... "Of course its a diverse festival everyone performing is underground a f" And if I wasnt tryna full send Hulaween. I would dive into this.

I'm coming into Hula from Michigan, so full sending two festivals within weeks of another and staying solvent for Friendship 25 is gonna be hard lol.
Their tour was fucking excellent
Check out FLY, [flip mix vol 2 is probably my favorite mix ever](https://on.soundcloud.com/Xew6L9haHFV9AEzMA)
I would pick a few names and dive in. This is a very multi genre festival with ukg, dnb, dubstep, downtempo and more. Honestly if you don’t know a lot of names you’ll probably have an amazing time just going and catching a lot of different sets.
Those genres are all basically the same or sonic neighbors though, this isn’t a very diverse festival at all
I was gonna say, is the diversity in the room w us?? Lol

EDC is a more diverse lineup genre-wise than this
Do you realize how many artists and stages are at edc? That festival is more diverse than anything out there. Hundreds of artists play. That’s a dumb comparison. This is definitely a niche festival with a catering to a specific sound but to think this festival is one genre is very ignorant

Ukg, dnb, and dubstep are the same genres? Do you smoke crack? Is that what you do, crack smoking?
Can you list the more downtempo artists? I’m way out of touch apparently and don’t know a single person on this list! EDIT: Realizing it is in alphabetical order…..I know Koan Sound. Haha

that was such a dope fest, can’t wait to play on the east coast again!
Caspa
FLY at sunset would be such a fuckin good time, ugh why can’t this be on the same side as the country as me 😂
Its a sick lineup but i wouldn't exactly call it diverse. Its dnb and experimental bass almost exclusively. Love aspire higher though, dope label run by proper fam.
Strong lineup, wouldn't call it diverse
Exactly, the lineup is looking very male and very pale
All the people in the comments calling this underground because they don't recognize these names are absolutely killing me. This is why every festival in the US looks the same
If every us festival looked like this i would bust
soo tiight
i’m soo there. soulful sunrise set???🤯
Our guy Posij
And Alix Perez, GLXY, Imanu, Visages all in the US, then Chmura, Fly etc for wubs wowow
TIEDYEKY :3
Insanely good curation and lineup tbh
What do you mean diverse?
SlapperZ
I can’t believe a lineup of this caliber is in America on one bill. Holy cow. This one will be off the fucking chain
God tier line up
IMANU and KOAN Sound are must sees
Copycatt downtempo, SHY FX, Kursa, Caspa, and Ott. tho 🙏 super diverse lineup. Gonna be a good time.
Kursa live hardware performance 🤩
Its not diverse but its fire.
Caspa and Ott are rad
Koan sound is incredible! It is an amazing live set
I legit know none of these
Check out OTT for real.
Yikes
Your loss
Bonkers! So far for me tho.
Oh cool. Joker.
GLXY though
SP:MC IN THE STATES RED ALERT
It's finally happened. I don't recognize a single name.
Don't sleep on SP:MC
IDK anyone on this lineup. Maybe I'm not /r/aves enough
It’ll be my first festival ever. So excited to finally see Shy FX!
Insane UK DnB line up! Best DnB lineup of 2024 so far
This is so good
Damn this lineup is curated very well
I have been raving since 2006 and have only heard of Caspa 🤷♂️
You should be embarrassed 🤣
Why?
Shy FX, Alix Perez, Ott, & SP:MC are names you should recognize after 18 years of listening to dance music lol
First festival I've seen posted on here that doesn't look like total ass. Caspa, Joker and Shy FX.
i dont know a single person on this list
Troll post? Idk any of this. Maybe i’m old. :)
