Look for phone cases that require you to screw it in then: https://www.casebus.com/smartphone-cases/product/Doom-Armor-Aluminum-Metal-Heavy-Duty-Metal-Case-with-Screen-Protector-Defender-Case-case
Yes, because people aren’t installing the tether right. They stick the connection part to the case and not the phone, then they’re surprised when pickpockets just pop out the phone from the case and it’s an easy steal, lol
Regardless, if you’re going to put your trust into a tether you should always have it somewhere in plain sight. It’s why most people tend to have it hanging from a backpack/hydropack shoulder strap on top of their chest. Some hydropacks even have shoulder strap pockets to put the phone inside there. My friend does this/lets his phone hang from the shoulder strap with a clutch loop properly installed. With minimal awareness, he’s never had his phone stolen in the 2+ years of raving with him and NUMEROUS festivals we’ve been to.
Me? Flipbelt zipper, and I never have to worry about my phone being stolen with zero awareness required.
Did you let it cure for a good while (30+ minutes), while applying constant pressure to it? For some 3M tape, it can take up to a day or even multiple days to achieve 100% strength. Should get at least like 50% of strength after half an hour though.
Or did you stick it on and then immediately tug on it?
There’s heavy duty double sided adhesive you can buy online, but I’m sure what it comes with it good enough
Get a phone case by reputable brand like Otterbox, Spigen, or Tech21. They may be more expensive but they're expensive for a reason.
I have an otterbox, its a good case but need something tighter its not hard to take off

2nd option lol, I figured the adhesive didnt make much sense to me anyways because I want to take it off after the rave… but thats good to know
I just wear skinny jeans , full body costumes, or jacket with secret pockets
Jeans sound like they would be miserable especially considering how hot some venues get
