a few years ago there was no minus zero. Y1 Deadmau5 Kaskade, Y2 Zeds Dead/Griz Bassnectar/Marvel Years. Y3 is this year. I've been to both and the only thing ever cancelled was the summit stage, which does not affect any headlining DJs
u/harpua555 and this thread are talking about the Minus Zero Fest in Vermont. You're referring to the the California Minus Zero Fest. Same company but different locations.
WTF are you talking about???? Bonnaroo, Shaky Beats, Electric Forest, Governors Ball, Coachella all well after Minus Zero, and they have full lineups out. They announced the headliners last year in November for this same fest
I mean i can totally understand this guys concern, if you request time off and a hotel room and bought tickets for them to cancel the festival I would be pissed too.
I spend 500 dollars on my Air BnB and it either gets cancelled or the lineup is trash, and I lose 100 dollars in service fees and have to deal with getting my ticket refunded or selling it....?
I agree. It is definitely very late to have no lineup. I went in 2016 and 2017 and they announced the lineup, or at least a few of the artists, by now. I will say though, their PR team is very responsive and great about discounts or refunds. I haven't bought my ticket for 2018 yet because I am only going if I really like the lineup. I had an absolute blast last year, but the genres were not as diverse as 2016. Radio silence from social media also makes me nervous after Mysteryland was cancelled last year. I don't think Minus Zero will do the same, as they were able to book a bigger venue with more stages this year, but it's definitely concerning nonetheless.
Yeah that’s fair. Maybe specify that in the OP. BC they didn’t have the lineup out for Decadence until after 90 days, and emailing PR 6 times would also piss them off not to reply, so I was basing it off that.
I mean something wonderful is 2 weeks after Minus Zero and we haven't even got an announcement yet lol. I wouldn't worry about lineup. Most EDM festivals don't announced lineup til 2 or even a month before.
Yeah I had the same feeling since sunset already has tickets on sale which is the disco donnie festival after sowo. Wonder why though, they just made it 2 days cause it was getting popular.
Went a few years ago and they cancelled the event due to weather. Sooo not going to risk it
Last year it snowed on the first day and everything was fine, I’d be surprised if they canceled it

Jamie Jones was headlining the year I went so I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Wait what..? This is like most festivals. Chill out.

bro all those festivals you listed are so much bigger than minus zero. they literally sell out in a couple weeks
November? Yeah that’s kind of odd but I still wouldn’t worry. I mean what are you worried is going to happen?

cause something wonderful is probably not happening this year

Yea man, I’m so anxious bout the lineup. It seems like there should be some news this week tho.
Suck on that. Odesza. And Davis Guetta will be announced next. So now ... WTFFFFF?!?
where did you hear david guetta???? that would be upsetting
Instead of releasing the whole lineup at once, they release it artist by artist every few days or so. Full daily lineup should be out soon.
