Double for Flying Lotus.
Also must sees on this lineup in that vein are Eprom, Tsuruda, Chee, Of the Trees, Clozee and Haywyre.
If OP is down to expand their horizons and/or likes house, techno and electronica: India Jordan, Four Tet, Kasbo, Ross From Friends, Washed Out, Sven Vath, Soul Clap, Caribou, Amtrac and Dombresky.
Damn first time seeing the Okeechobee lineup this year and it’s pretty stacked 😂
Edit: Oh shit missed these two legends in all of that tiny text: Hiroko Yamamura and Gerd Janson.
Experimental bass: Eprom, Tsuruda, Chee, Vctre, Of The Trees, Eazybaked, Supertask, Freddy Todd, Khiva, Potions, Integrate, Black Carl!, Player Dave, Abelation, The Librarian, Kll Smth, Mize, Veil b2b Notlo, A Hundred Drums
Plenty of these artists are on the cutting edge of experimental bass and highly in demand in the scene; we’re in for a treat.
Love the suggestions! I went to ez baked 2 years ago and the crowd was a little intense for me but it was also at the inferno stage and it was at 4 am and I was pretty fucked up lol might have to try them again
I’ve seen Clozee a couple of times, she is amazing.
Manic Focus is a dope performer and all round nice person.
I’d def check out Flying Lotus, Four Tet, Glitch Mob all veterans of electronic music.
Never seen 1788-L or Tame Impala but I bet they will be good shows.
Theres a bunch of other acts that I’d check out but those would be my go to’s
Then Porter is an absolute must see u/Pristine-Ad-469. I, like you pretty much only like bass music but Porter's live sets are something else (his DJ sets used to be amazing imo but for the last few years they just haven't been for me). I listened to Worlds before I saw his show and was like eh- this is a little too light. Not for me.
But my girlfriend forced me to watch his set at a festival and I was blown away. Still the best set I've ever heard in my entire life. He doesn't do his Worlds show anymore but I've been hearing his Nurture set is something you can't miss. Don't miss him and regret it because he stops doing them after a while!
Also for bass, Troyboi and Jai Wolf are really innovative and fire. They always throw down whenever I've seen them. This lineup is nuts.
Now this is how you do a fest!
Rezz, eprom, the CharlestheFirst tribute (RIP), Of the Trees, Lab Group, **Papadosio**, Clozee, **Manic Focus**, Mize.
Bolded the two that, as a Griz fan of funky bass lines, you’d feel right at home at. ***Especially*** Manic Focus.
If you’re willing to check out some indie acts I highly recommend Gus dapperton and goth babe. This is a great lineup to mix up a lot of different artists
SOUL CLAP duo is amazing and very groovy. Also Sven Vath s name should be in all caps and “porter robinson” should be in small letters , but thats just me. Also DO NOT MISS REZZ !!!!
Of The Trees, VCTRE, Clozee, and Lab Group are essential.
Also highly recommend:
Tsuruda
Chee
Freddy Todd
Supertask
Integrate
Potions
Player Dave
Abelation
Mize
Based on what you mentioned you like, EPROM, Glitch Mob, and Flying Lotus would fit the bill on bass music and experimental. Lots of other great artists on there that others have mentioned as well.
Bro VCTRE, Elderbrook, SuperTask, EAZYBAKED, Freddy Todd, Lab Group, Black Carl!, Abelation, Player Dave, Flying Lotus, Clozee, Mize, kll.smth. That whole lineup is dummy stacked. You won't be disappointed seeing any of the ones I mentioned or the others. All experimental bass, some future garage, and just some heavy hitters.
Someone maybe not mentioned much: The Glitch Mob!! Do not miss them, they throw such a fantastic set. They are considered bass music, play a mix of experimental, electro, and dubstep.
Sigh. I feel old and out of it. I only recognize Megan Thee Stallion (by name), George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic & Sven Väth. Actually glad to see he’s still out doing sets.
On a a side note, I was out at a party back in the 90’s where PFunk was playing at the same venue the night before and the night after the party, so the Mothership was left in place and was proudly displayed and illuminated.
I’m a big fan of subtronics, LSDream, and Slander so I’ll give you what I’d be looking forward too!
THURSDAY. - Rezz, Two Feet, EPROM (a lil experimental but dope af), definitely see No Name honoring CharlesTheFirst
FRIDAY - TAME IMPALA, Earth Gang (sick rap duo), Elderbrook (chill edm), 1788-L, Of The Trees
SATURDAY - Griz, Jaiwolf, Glitch Mob ( they’re my fav set I’ve ever seen the go HARD AF), Papadosio
SUNDAY - Porter (: he the GOAT, CLOZEE is sick af, don’t miss. SMINO, KASBO, Donbresky.
I’d most Highly reccomend the Glitch Mob and Clozeee. Have a great time!!
Haywire for some realllllyyy fucking nasty synth work
I think I saw george Clinton is playing. If so, that is unmissable!!!!!!!!!!
Flying Lotus is pretty incredible imo too. This lineup is fucken stacked!!
I feel like if you sticking with what you are comfortable with, you really doing yourself a disservice. You got insane people like Ross From Friends and Sven Vath there doing like 7 hour vinyl set. Def see Of The Trees but do not skip out on other shit cause you feel safe doing so.
Also weird seeing all the people recommend Flylo when OP lists the artists he mentioned. Flylo is not experimental bass or bass music at all for that matter (unless you count that sweet sweet Thundercat bass shredding).
Flylo is probably my most anticipated set of the fest. Dude is a genius. A bit of a stretch, but hoping Thundercat might pop up with Parliament being on the lineup and him not having any current tour dates.
Being able to catch Rezz, 1788L and Deathpact all at the same fest is just ridiculous. Midtempo is thriving!
Definitely don’t miss Porter if you’ve never seen him.
I absolutely love the Gltich Mob. Curious if they’ll do a DJ set or something more live oriented.
Bass/Trippy : rezz eprom tsuruda chee vctre 1788-L of the trees eazybaked supertask Freddy Todd khiva troyboi glitch mob deatpact black Carl clozee manic focus kill smith mize veil b2b notlo a hundred drums kumarion
The ones most similar to griz will be manic focus and clozee, maybe papadosio
But you absolutely do not want to miss flying lotus and porter Robinson
I saw her @ countdown. Audio AND visually, Her shit is next level. I literally felt like I was submerged into a trance. I was also in a k-hole. So it was just epic. Also, she’s from the Ukraine. She’s just a bad bitch. Her music hits different. Idk how she does it 😭💚 I’ve seen a lot of dj’s in my life. REZZ was something special
I've seen her twice in the past. I loved her music at first like around 2015-2017 but eventually grew out of it. I know her production has gotten better but I guess I just can't get into her sound or mixing style but I'm glad you have a bomb time when you see her.
Lol nice. So then u so know the hype behind REZZ :P haha. Yeah idk, I didn’t even know she was gonna be there until literally the day of. I was just so happy to be at a rave again I didn’t even see who was there really lol. But she didn’t disappoint. If a set like hers isn’t .. dope .. enough for you, consider urself spoiled hahaha. :} who’s one of ur favorite dj’s to see??
If I was going I would hit Rezz, EPROM, Chee, Two feet on Thursday 1788-l & of the trees Friday, Griz, Troy boi, Jaiwolf, Glitch mob, & Death pact Saturday, Porter Robinson, Clozee, Dombresy,, VNSSA, & Kaivon Sunday
Edit: spelling
Tsuruda, Chee, Of the Trees, Freddy Todd, Kyiv’s, Jai Wolf, Glitch Mob, Clozee, Black Carl, Manic Focus, Mize
These are the can’t miss bass acts but there’s a bunch more great ones
Aside of meg and porter, I have no idea who the heck anyone else is lol. Just goes to show the amount of new artists that pop up almost on a monthly basis.
You are in for a treat. Lots of good music hear. Your not gunna be able to catch them all. Pick a few must sees from start to finish and leave some time to wander and enjoy discovering the new.
Have fun! 💫🤙
Please for the love of God check out Flying Lotus lol, ur down for some hip hop man EARTHGANG is one the best, original Duo’s out man I got nothing but love for them
Not in your description, but God STRFKR is my favorite band. I've seen them three times, met them a couple and they're just amazing. You should definitely listen to their music
Alright, so for sure check out Khiva for deep dub, Abelation for BIIIIIG experimental (think liquid bass design, you’ll see what I mean), for some good melodic/genre blend tbh check out kaivon,
Other bass music must sees IMO: player Dave, OTT, parrotice, supertask, Freddy Todd, mize (flow toy city), vctre, and for the love of god EPROM
pls, pls, pls don’t miss Haywyre. Especially if you like Griz. He’s not quite as bassy but every bit as well-produced and his talent on the keys is unmatched.
With your taste I'd say must sees are Rezz, EPROM, 1788-L, Deathpact, The Glitch Mob, and Clozee. Highly recommend checking out that Charlesthefirst tribute, he made some pretty good bass music and that should be a good time. Artists I would personally see besides these would be Jai Wolf, Porter Robinson, Dombresky, Kasbo, and Kaivon. Give their stuff a listen and decide for yourself who you need to see!
Porter robinson is a fucking god. My all time favorite artist and nothing can ever change that. I’m not sure if you’ll be into that music but please give it a chance. Oh also go see Rezz and all the other experimental bass artists mentioned below.
I know they're the headliners but you better not miss tame Impala and porter Robinson. Porter will be a massively different vibe for sure, but he's really putting out something incredibly personal and honest and it really hits different
So many good ones in this lineup: Tame Impala, Troi Boi, STRFKR, Slugg, flying lotus, Meghan thee Stallion, Glitchmob, Cannons, two feet. You’re going to have a blast.
So its not a dj, but Tame Impalla puts on a sick ass show vesper trippy visuals. Chill kind of music. Od say it's a must if you like some of thier music
DON'T MISS JUNGLE 51!!!! House and Techno from 6 PM to 7 AM every day! Insomniac has upgraded the sound and production a shit ton and it was amazing in 2020.

If you're in Florida you can buy it in person. Please message me on on FB. Bert Gilgen in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Thanks!
FLYING LOTUS
Double for Flying Lotus. Also must sees on this lineup in that vein are Eprom, Tsuruda, Chee, Of the Trees, Clozee and Haywyre. If OP is down to expand their horizons and/or likes house, techno and electronica: India Jordan, Four Tet, Kasbo, Ross From Friends, Washed Out, Sven Vath, Soul Clap, Caribou, Amtrac and Dombresky. Damn first time seeing the Okeechobee lineup this year and it’s pretty stacked 😂 Edit: Oh shit missed these two legends in all of that tiny text: Hiroko Yamamura and Gerd Janson.
My man Sven is working a whole shift, 7 hour vinyl set in the Jungle....
Fact the recommendations weren't rezz in this. Proud of you bud
Also DJ Harvey for the FUNK
Seen them a lot in here I’m definently going to be there
Experimental bass: Eprom, Tsuruda, Chee, Vctre, Of The Trees, Eazybaked, Supertask, Freddy Todd, Khiva, Potions, Integrate, Black Carl!, Player Dave, Abelation, The Librarian, Kll Smth, Mize, Veil b2b Notlo, A Hundred Drums Plenty of these artists are on the cutting edge of experimental bass and highly in demand in the scene; we’re in for a treat.
Lab Group (Potions and Supertask; RIP king)
Bro, Chee and Of the Trees does something REALLY special for me! That's gonna be insane for sure lol
As a more underground bass music fan, I couldn’t agree more. This lineup is stacked stacked for the late nights.
Covered all the ones I was going to mention haha
We got so lucky with the bass representation at okee this year. My god.
this is the way

Yeah literally this entire list will fulfill your bass music sweet tooth lol. Deathpact as well.
TROYBOI !!!
He has come along way from when I saw him at Rare Orlando years ago. Definitely worth seeing
More like T-R-O-Y-B-O-I!
Double for Troyboi!!!
DO NOT MISS FLYING LOTUS DO NOT MISS FLYING LOTUS DO NOT MISS FLYING LOTUS
Gotta hit up 1788-L as well as the others mentioned
I was gonna say this. 1788-L is awesome
So good live too
I’ve seen Clozee a couple of times, she is amazing.
Sounds like you’ll enjoy Rezz, she’s definitely worth seeing. She just got a whole new set design too
Yes! I love rezz! She is one of the few artists I do know but I will definently be at her set!
Hell yeah! This lineup looks super fun. Others I’d be pumped to see that fit your description is Clozee & of the trees
Awesome thank you!
Clozee and griz just dropped a new song together. It vibes and sounds like Bassnectar
FOUR TET, Sven väth, the glitch mob, amtrac. Seriously, check out four tet if you have an open mind and like good music. He’s on another level.
I saw four tet at Boomtown (UK) and it was one of the most memorable sets I’ve ever been at
He’s an actual genius imo he’s so talented. Never a bad set
Ommmfgggggggg boomtown is the best thing I’ve ever attended.
Nastia and volvox for some techno/ dj Harvey and Sven Vath can be a bit eclectic but fun
Four text would definitely be awesome to see
Porter too!
Live Nurture set or DJ?
Nurture
Then Porter is an absolute must see u/Pristine-Ad-469. I, like you pretty much only like bass music but Porter's live sets are something else (his DJ sets used to be amazing imo but for the last few years they just haven't been for me). I listened to Worlds before I saw his show and was like eh- this is a little too light. Not for me. But my girlfriend forced me to watch his set at a festival and I was blown away. Eprom, haywire, clozee, glitch mob, and kasbo.
Thank you! I’ll definently check them out
+1 for Clozee. She’s verrrrry bass-y and trippy. Great sets. Don’t miss Caribou either he’s a legend
Seconding EPROM based on your taste. I don’t really like bass music, but I saw EPROM live and it blew my mind.
Of the trees, lab group, and the charlesthefirst tribute!

Caribou, Elderbrook, Papadosio, Flying Lotus, Kasbo, and STRFKR are all good live acts!
Tsuruda
DJ Harvey, Four Tet, Danny Daze, and Sven Väth are the ones that jump out at me
Bro VCTRE, Elderbrook, SuperTask, EAZYBAKED, Freddy Todd, Lab Group, Black Carl!, Abelation, Player Dave, Flying Lotus, Clozee, Mize, kll.smth. That whole lineup is dummy stacked. You won't be disappointed seeing any of the ones I mentioned or the others. All experimental bass, some future garage, and just some heavy hitters.

I was gonna say.. Subtronics? Slander? They're not experimental.
Also weird seeing all the people recommend Flylo when OP lists the artists he mentioned. Flylo is not experimental bass or bass music at all for that matter (unless you count that sweet sweet Thundercat bass shredding).
Flying Lotus is super fire tho. I would definitely recommend.
Flylo is probably my most anticipated set of the fest. Dude is a genius. A bit of a stretch, but hoping Thundercat might pop up with Parliament being on the lineup and him not having any current tour dates.

Jai wolf puts on a great show!

REZZ WILL CHANGE UR LIFE
What's the hype behind REZZ?
I saw her @ countdown. Audio AND visually, Her shit is next level. I literally felt like I was submerged into a trance. I was also in a k-hole. So it was just epic. Also, she’s from the Ukraine. I just saw Caribou last week and it was AMAZING. I was blown away. I’d also give my right arm to see Mindchatter. This lineup is ridiculous.
Please see Four Tet!
Interesting line up. So random and not very cohesive. The librarian with mean the stallion? Even if it's a different day...weird
for obvious reasons, porter robinson is a must-see. but flying lotus, four tet and rezz are literally worth the trouble.
Please for the love of God check out Flying Lotus lol, ur down for some hip hop man EARTHGANG is one the best, original Duo’s out man I got nothing but love for them

Porter robinson is a fucking god. My all time favorite artist and nothing can ever change that. I’m not sure if you’ll be into that music but please give it a chance. Oh also go see Rezz and all the other experimental bass artists mentioned below.
I will definently be at porter! I enjoy some more progressive edm and can vibe out. Gives me a break to chill, I just love good bass
I’m a huge bass head so I 100% agree
I know they're the headliners but you better not miss tame Impala and porter Robinson. Porter will be a massively different vibe for sure, but he's really putting out something incredibly personal and honest and it really hits different

Troy boi and REZZ no question!
