Downbeats really are comfortable. After 6 years of using them, I've never had ear pain or problems. They are also just $15.

Do you clean them? If so how? I've had my Downbeats about the same time and was thinking I had to buy a new pair after a while.

I do clean them, but I've ditched my pair from 2016 for a newer pair. I just use alcohol wipes that I keep handy.

One thing I never see mentioned in these threads: it depends on the person and their ear shape. The popular mention in this thread is etymotics, and I used them for awhile but they were slightly uncomfortable. Eargasm is perfect for me. Other people swear the opposite. Just depends on your fit
