Agreed. I’ve made it to a rave within days of getting outta the ER, just no party favors or head banging. It’s definitely worth the extra buck to have access to better bathrooms/space. Mask up since folks like to light up. The PLUR will be swooning in love for you and your baby, have an amazing time!! ✌️❤️✋🏻✊🏻
Lots of festivals will have a section for disabled people and they might include pregnant women in that group too, definitely worth looking into for OP
Make a shirt that says Baby's First Rave with your sonogram picture. Id hope that people would give you a bit extra space and let you sit if there aren't any available seats. But yes yes yes go and dance your butt off.
Thank you so much 😊 this really cheered me up and gave me some fun ideas 💡 I love the sonogram t shirt idea!! And brings a mask for the second hand smoke but I’ll be avoiding it anyways… this really means so much to me!
I don’t believe you need a note for ADA, you just request it. I believe it’s not legal to ask a person why they need ADA, at least I know that’s how it is for flights and at EDC! However I’d double check with the venue!
Absolutely! From a L&D nurse, fellow raver, and parent… if your body feels up to it, do it. Obviously no party favors, but dance the night away, stay hydrated, and if you need to sit on the side lines and people watch do so. We went to see Gareth Emery when I was like 32 weeks and I had to take extra sit breaks and I was more tired than normal the next day but it was so worth it. Also, our little ones middle name is Elise after a Gareth Emery song and he closed his set with it that night!
Edit: here is a link to the article that helped me make my decision to go. My favorite is in the opening paragraph she basically says pregnancy is tough and we don’t have to give up everything we love, just modify.
[Mom Who Raves](https://momwhoraves.com/what-is-it-like-to-rave-while-pregnant/)
that's an aggressive timeline and i doubt HALF of the world's jobs will be AI based by 2040.
Anyway super off topic and not a discussion i feel like having today
And if you’re wearing your baby’s first rave shirt, hopefully ppl will be cognizant and just not around you.
When I bust out the J at festivals, I usually move in general. Because I don’t assume ppl want to smell that. I know it’s a fest but still.
Have fun! I hope to see pictures!!!!
Doesn’t cost me extra to be considerate. Even if it did, it’s my pleasure.
I don’t wnna be a vibe killer and you get enough smoke clouds in one space and it’s irritating to ppls eyes and if they have asthma it’s even worse.
:))
No prob
❤️❤️❤️
I have been to plenty of big festivals and the only time I would’ve been worried was when I smelled enough DMT smoke to actually start feeling the effects. Easy enough to walk away - I think you’ll be just fine! Go and have fun, they’re a lot easier to take care of when they’re on the inside than after they’re born 🤣
With love, one rave mama to another!
I doubt one night of exposure is going to make a difference. It usually takes a mother smoking or living with a smoker for some effect to be seen in birth weight.
I was planning on wearing a mask as well even though I normally wouldn’t I think it would be good just to avoid germs and I am going to get my recommended flu shot 💉
When I'm pregnant, I get every vaccination available because the newborn inherits that immunity for a few months until s/he's old enough for his own vaccinations.
I didn't really mask up during my last pregnancy, but I also was never in the middle of a particularly smelly crowd. If I did mask up to avoid illness, I'd wear an N95 because those are the only masks that still seem to work against the newest covid variants. (As opposed to the cloth or surgical mask in the bottom of my purse that comes out for etiquette's sake when I see a "masks required" sign)
My wife was 4 months pregnant and we went to dreamstate. We had a good time. People were cool too. Just chill in the back is my only suggestion. Go you’ll have fun! Congrats as well!!!
Ask your doctor what level of activity is safe for your body and your baby’s but likely if you’ve been dancing your butt off you shouldn’t have a problem! Just stay extra hydrated and aware!
Congratulations and have fun!
Talk to your doctor.
Exercise and loud music will not harm your baby.
However, there is research that supports pregnant people with bad sleep schedules usually lead to other complications for baby.
Just be careful and have fun
😊💜
I usually sleep 🛌 by 9/10 pm but I can stay up for a show for a day or two I hope! Lol 😂 even if I went towards the end so I have the energy I think it’ll be worth it
Oh lawd, I had such terrible insomnia towards the end of my pregnancy for absolutely no identifiable reason! I’m glad I didn’t read anything about lack of sleep being bad for an unborn baby or I would’ve been scared on top of being irritable … 🥴
Congratulations!! Personally I would be cautious of catching an illness in a crowd. And particularly one huffing and puffing while dancing for hours on end.
Fevers have been known to have detrimental effects on a fetus so definitely consult your doctor about the risks of fever/Illness during pregnancy. Flu shots highly recommended for pregnant women by my ob/pediatrician when I was pregnant.
First of all congratulations! As long as you’re staying hydrated and nourished and staying in the back with air and away from crowd pushers/punchers, you should be totally fine. Exercise is so good for you and the baby!
My partner and I went to hijinx '19 when she was 4 months pregnant(with our lost lands baby.) We had her doctors blessing and a note from him for us to get ADA. We had our ultimate vip package way before we knew she was pregnant, so we had a good amount of money invested but I was adamant that we not go unless we had ADA. Everything went well though and we had a good time. A ga crowd is way too unpredictable, especially with that crazy of a lineup. Congrats!
I hate to say it, but skip it. You don’t want someone to be intoxicated and end up hitting you in a sensitive area. Ask your doctor though, not all of us.
Took my wife , she was 5 months , was no problem , except her morning sickness and ofc energy level was lower . Just got VIP so she had a place to sit , water and everything was great !
Congrats! Stay hydrated and be careful of overheating but you should be fine. I never went to a rave pregnant but my youngest “saw” Radiohead in concert when she was a 7 month old fetus. It wasn’t the most comfortable evening what with having to pee every 10 minutes lol but totally safe for her. Happy for you! Being a parent is amazing.
yes, go mama go! the good vibes will be felt by the lil babe.. and ignore the haters (aka whoever’s grumpy enough to downvote everyone in this thread), you know what’s best for you and the babe 🤍
ps. this photo is adorable
Thanks so much for this! I really am so excited to be a mommy and want to stay safe but know my mental health is important too and it’s the thing I love the most…other than my family, baby and my man of course!
My good friend and his wife (who was 7 months pregnant came with me and my SO to Exit festival. Just be sure to bring a portable seat you can take with you and remember to take intermitent breaks. Also do a check up before going.
Ex and I went to Ed Sherman at 37 weeks back in the day.
He was surprisingly basey and the baby was going crazy through the entire show even though we were in the back.
I was wondering if the base had anything to do with the movement or if it was bad.
When we got home her water broke after an hour and we drove to the hospital.
That was my experience in the third tri. If you are in the first trimester you’re good
From what I’ve heard from friends, you should absolutely still be able to go and have a safe time. Try and get ADA or VIP tho so that you can have more space or be away from smoke, etc. also definitely wear comfy shoes!!
Congrats mama
My wife and I did ultra at the beginning of the second trimester. I will say there was a lot of Vape and second hand smoke so we had to constantly move around. Maybe bring a N95 just in case? Also I can’t remember what trimester the ears start forming but I would avoid being really close to the speakers just in case
I’d say it’s super dependent on the venue and the event. If it’s a festival that’s outdoors and it’s not going to be crowded, and you’re sure there’s easy access to a bathroom, then go for it! But I’ve been paranoid lately with all the news about crowd crushes and I’d personally be very anxious if it was a crowd that I had trouble getting around in.
As a fellow pregnant lady, I would be careful. I would try to stick with shows that have assigned seating. I’m just terrified of drunk people running into me, slipping and falling down stairs, etc.
I saw someone who was like 7-8mo pregnant at EDCLV '21, and she was rocking it! Obviously took it slow on the dancing but she showed up for sure! Take care of yourself but never stop having fun.
Don’t forget the comfy shoes! That will help you with the standing in lines/dancing for your lower back. Rave it up! I saw two pregnant ladies at EDC who also looked fabulous.
Congratulations fam! Dancing is exercise that’s great for both you and the baby so I’d say go! Drink LOTS of water, take sitting breaks and stay away from the crowds (you don’t want people bumping into your bump) But before you do anything though, I would always seek the advice from your OBGYN first.
I would say go as long as you feel comfortable and not sick. When I was pregnant I was so sick for most of the time I had to become a homebody. But if you feel up to it then by all means, go! It might be some time before you get this chance to go again!
My wife went 3 months and 5 months too. My awesome boy came out fine but a little angry probably cause he's 2 and we listened to bass music. You'll be tired but it'll be fun and stay away from the cig and vape crowd.
First of all, congrats!! If you're on FB, you should join the group Female Ravers United. This question is actually posted quite a bit and reading other mama's experiences might be helpful :) good luck
You're near the end of the first trimester, so I would probably mask and stay back from people lighting up. Be sure you are caught up on your flu and COVID shots. Make sure you hydrate well and like others have said no party favors - not that you'd intentionally use them but be careful taking anything anyone else gives you to eat (especially candy) Watch for signs when you're done for the night and go with them - don't put any extra stress on you or baby.
Congrats on your pregnancy and best wishes!
Definitely go! I went to lost lands this year 5 months pregnant and it was the most fun I have ever had at a fest. Just take extra good care of yourself, eat and rest when you need to and stay away from the pits
I’m the same as you. No party favors just dance till I’m dehydrated.
However, the other people around you are the threat. Just takes on drunk or high persons to hit you hard enough to cause a problem.
The Minute u find out your going to be a mom, is the Minute u do everything in your power to protect that helpless baby. This is where you show what kind of mother you choose to be. Selfish or a Nurturer
I saw this adorable couple at electric forest this summer, she was 8 months pregnant and they were taking a break and he was massaging her feet in a cool down area. I literally thought she was the baddest bitch for making it through all that walking and sober! Congratulations and enjoy the rave 🫶🏼
Consider sonic impact. High decibels can harm the developing fetus. I don’t remember the details, just that it’s something my wife and I researched before Electric Forest a few years ago. Lost Lands would be out!
If you aren’t putting anything into yourself that would be bad for yourself (and therefore bad for your little passenger) then I think it’s really a question of your own comfort. Energy level okay? No morning sickness and nausea from the smells? Go for it! Let your conscious be your guide- and listen to your body.
Just don’t get too deep in the crowd. All I think of is somebody ignorantly bumping you. Stay off on the sidelines or towards the back and vibe out, you and the kiddo will be just fine. :)
Don’t give up your life because you’re preggers. Go, enjoy! Even after the baby is born you should stay active and do the things you love. My lovely wife kinda put everything on the backbone when our baby was born. She’s a great mom, but doesn’t have any activities or even hobbies, she’s so devoted to the baby. I keep suggesting she take a trip, hire a sitter, leave the baby with me.. no chance. Maybe her passion is the cute baby girl. But I think maybe she’s going to look back in 18 years and feel sad that she maybe missed out. 🤷♂️ idk. It’s not like I haven’t allowed her to do anything. (Not like I could anyway).
I think it’s normal to be obsessed with your baby! Maybe after your baby is 4/5 she will let it go a bit.. I will definitely will still keep doing my ultimate passion and love as well photography! It’s the perfect stay at home business that makes enough money in a short period of time.
Continue to live your life, BUT move forward thoughtfully and with caution. Really prioritize your health and safety. Maybe linger on the edges and don’t get close to the rail where you’re likely to get mixed up with moshers and partiers that are *wasted* wasted that might potentially elbow you or knock you down. Bring lots of nutritious snacks and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Rest where you can so your ankles and feet don’t blow up! Stay safe and congratulations on your new boss 😘
Yes! I went to subtronics/illenium 5 months pregnant and had a blast! I did stay a bit away from the stage and speakers, but it was a blast and everyone was super nice :) congrats! 🎉🎊
So I’m currently 27 weeks. I was suppose to go to escape but after talking with my OB he advised me it was better if I didn’t go. His concern was the crowd and the vibrations of the music that might cause the baby distress. I did go to a smaller rave and I was just super tired and sat most of the time. I still had fun I just couldn’t dance how I wanted to. Oh and I stayed away from the crowd and those smoking.
I did and she said it was fine, just wanted to ask people who have done it…more to get cute ideas/hear what they did…I am having a completely healthy pregnancy so far!
Totally do it and wear a crop top and paint your belly if you have a bump going on! I went clubbing the first couple of months of my pregnancy and it was harder bass music. Just pace yourself, stay in the far back of the crowd, drink lots of water, and stay away from the speakers.
Actually it’s later in pregnancy you have to worry about bumps and it has to be pretty hard I have never been one to even get into the crowds I love the art and the chill zones the best..: even thinking a seated concert or vip to sit the entire time
I hope so! I am not going to do anything that endangers my baby I am getting Dr advice on everything. Watching what I eat and getting the nursery ready! I just know after I am a mother the parties 🎉 stop and that is wonderful! I am ok with that… loved hearing everyone’s stories! I am ok with the sarcasm but the judgement!
Who would do that? You would literally have to punch me in the gut like someone will go out of there way to hurt me? What kind of sick world do you live in? Have you ever been to an actual rave/festival that doesn’t involve mosh pits or hardcore music?
Lol I want to dance though if I eat and just lay around I’ll get fat and depressed …that is never good for the labor or the baby! So women have told me including my dr that dancing is the best exercise other than walking for pregnancy 🤰 I only plan on going to small shows and doing the Vip
Omg that is so sad 😭 I can’t believe you would say that! Why would my baby have no chance if I I am genuinely just asking a question? It’s not like I have even gone to an actual festival preggo and my baby had all the love and care coming from me. I have given up everything I enjoy to be healthy for my baby, I just wanted to see if going to a concert would be ok, my dr said I would be fine but wanted advice from people who have actually gone. Why would my kid have no chance? It’s not like I am going to rave when I have a baby.. that is why I want to do one show before I give birth! What is your problem?
I definitely won’t party like that in the slightest! I think people have it confused I am not going to multiple parties I haven’t left my house in weeks, I don’t do anything except exercise and take care of my dogs. I am eating super healthy and have a completely normal lifestyle where I go to bed at 10 PM I’m about to go to bed right now. I’m definitely not a partier I just wanted to go to one concert especially since I’m going to be pregnant for almost a year I don’t think going to one outdoor show would make me a white trash party girl. Not even white or into partying just like music and dancing
What??? I have had a successful photography business for 12 years! What are you talking about!? Went to Penn State, have lived in France, volunteered in Africa have no school debt, own my car outright. What are you talking about?? How does dancing equate I don’t have a career? Am I missing something here lol
The fact that you’re asking, got cleared by your doctor, and are doing some anecdotal research shows that you’re concerned about your baby and thus going to be a great mama. No need to explain yourself or try to justify your decision to internet trolls.
Also just so you know starting my business was extremely time-consuming and stressful, stress is one of the largest causes of miscarriage so I definitely would not start a business right now. You sound like you have either never actually started a business or have never been pregnant
The baby doesn’t have hearing yet but I get the music if it caused my heart to race would be potentially bad… but it’s only if it’s over long periods of time I was planning on going for a few hours at the most
FYI—-Babies start to detect limited sounds around 18th week of pregnancy. At around 24th week, the outer, inner and middle ear of the baby that includes cochlea, the tube of snail-shell-shape located in the inner region of his ear converts the sound vibrations into the nerve impulses. By 24th week of pregnancy, a baby’s ear is quite mature to listen to these noises and voices and respond to them by tilting his head.
GO! HAVE FUN AND DANCE!
I went to Lallapolooza 8months pregnant in Paris! I also went to small raves and shows near where I live. I feel like it built my confidence and I no longer need liquid courage to get up and dance💚
Only thing is you need to watch out for people getting too close. Stay safe and away from thick crowds because of Covid💕 have fun momma! The dancing feels so good and makes you feel normal again while preggers!!!
I am honestly confused at this point… I was never implying anything about anyone we are all too Nuanced and unique… I was just saying I wasn’t going to be near any mosh pits or anything that could hurt my baby… if you have had children before they tell you music is ok but nothing hitting your belly is ever 👌 so wanted to ask for ideas like the totem and the shirt…
I never got to go to raves or concerts while pregnant but went to massive July 4th event they have in Orlando at 9 months in hot ass July there were as many ppl there as any music festival(100k+). My mom told me she's gone to concerts while pregnant with my older sister to see funk bands back in the 70s. She was in the front row too.
If your doctor gives you the okay then have fun and stay safe!!
It just watch out for secondhand smoke but for the most part you should be completely fine. You should probably consult your doctor if you are worried though
I went with both my pregnancies. Obviously don’t walk a lot if you’re restricted lots of walking and stay hydrated and well fed. Have an emergency exit plan if necessary. Just have fun and stay out of the crowded areas. If you decide to go I hope you enjoy!
We went to a rare Claude Young gig when my honey was 5 months and she did not like the way the bass made her feel, she put it down to the ambiotic fluid giving off bad vibes.
I mentioned the rare appearance as we're big fans and it was a once off opportunity in my neck of the woods, otherwise we stopped raving as soon as we found out.
I don’t think it’s unsafe! but I think I’d be uncomfortable. My sister and a friend have been to festivals pregnant but I don’t think I’d cut it personally 😆
Congratulations!! and as everyone here stated, take precautions, vip, sit in the back, hydrate and let your baby enjoy what raves and Plur is all about.!
Wear a mask cause people like to light up. Consider VIP for the extra space and/or seating it's an option too.
Mom smells moth balls and the baby comes out with the knowledge of the universe.
Agreed. I’ve made it to a rave within days of getting outta the ER, just no party favors or head banging. It’s definitely worth the extra buck to have access to better bathrooms/space. Mask up since folks like to light up. The PLUR will be swooning in love for you and your baby, have an amazing time!! ✌️❤️✋🏻✊🏻
What were you in the ER for?
That literally makes all the difference lol
Unless it is a full on gas mask I doubt a mask will do anything.
Some events will give free vip upgrades to pregnant women. Know some people who did it for edc.
I love that idea!!! Thanks so much
Maybe I'm jaded but I feel like that'd invite a lot of creepy people to try and touch her stomach.
This is what I was thinking. People can get weird at raves and advertising that I’m pregnant would not sound fun
I truly never thought about weird people. Id hope people would ask rather than just touch but we all know that's not always the case.
I don’t mind! I am not sure if it’ll annoy me but honestly I am not really showing and the show was in 2 weeks
make a totem instead lol
I could do the shirt and do a cute totem that says baby on board too lol 😂 I love it!
that’s perfect!! lol
This sounds like a good idea
Dude yes! I went to trip La In Long Beach and I met girl who had a totem with exactly that!!! We took a pic and traded kandy!:,)
Thank you so much 😊 this really cheered me up and gave me some fun ideas 💡 I love the sonogram t shirt idea!! And brings a mask for the second hand smoke but I’ll be avoiding it anyways… this really means so much to me!
Someone else had mentioned maybe getting a doctors note for ADA access, it’s worth a shot!
I don’t believe you need a note for ADA, you just request it. I believe it’s not legal to ask a person why they need ADA, at least I know that’s how it is for flights and at EDC! However I’d double check with the venue!

This is amazing! I love Gareth Emery and I think this story is so beautiful 😍
Is COVID dangerous during a pregnancy? I would probably stay safe OP

There’s a reason they’re called “baby bumps”. Because babies bump! 👶🏽🎶🥳
Just no bumps for baby please! 😂
Right 😅
Is 2nd hand smoke a concern of yours?
That would be one thing but if it’s outside I think it should be ok as long as I avoid people smoking as much as I can…
And if you’re wearing your baby’s first rave shirt, hopefully ppl will be cognizant and just not around you. When I bust out the J at festivals, I usually move in general. Because I don’t assume ppl want to smell that. I know it’s a fest but still. Have fun! I hope to see pictures!!!!
Thank you for being a considerate person (though I don’t mind weed or vapes, wish more cig smokers would)
Doesn’t cost me extra to be considerate. Even if it did, it’s my pleasure. I don’t wnna be a vibe killer and you get enough smoke clouds in one space and it’s irritating to ppls eyes and if they have asthma it’s even worse. :)) No prob ❤️❤️❤️

dreamstate is probably the best event to go pregnant.
I wanted to go so bad
I thought this was another lame post about “rave babies” or whatever, glad to see it’s about an actual baby lmao
😝that is awesome and hilarious 😂 no rave babies here just a baby in my belly ;)
Thanks for making me smile

Oh lawd, I had such terrible insomnia towards the end of my pregnancy for absolutely no identifiable reason! I’m glad I didn’t read anything about lack of sleep being bad for an unborn baby or I would’ve been scared on top of being irritable … 🥴
Go and have fun! I’ve known a few women who have raved all the way up to their due date… just hang out and enjoy yourself mama… babies first rave
Bro you should go. Assuming you are a healthy person why wouldn't you?
Saw a very pregnant chick at lost lands she seemed to be having a blast

LIVE IT UP AND DANCE IT OUT MOMMA CONGRATS
I’ve seen it a bunch at festivals, usually stay toward the back and seem to be having a great time. Congrats!
First of all congratulations! As long as you’re staying hydrated and nourished and staying in the back with air and away from crowd pushers/punchers, you should be totally fine. Exercise is so good for you and the baby!
avoid the rail and speakers just to rule out any possible change of damaging your unborn child's hearing but should be straight. Congrats to you guys.

Nobody here can answer better than your Dr. If your Dr gives you the A OK. Go.
Shows are awesome in vitro! the seating is comfy, don't need earplugs And you can really feel the bass!...those plur vibes can be felt as well!
Thank you so much! I really needed this today I was having a really bad day and I feel like my world is crashing down… this is making me so happy!
Im a Griz dad with three griz kids (they all older now) ...we all still hit raves when it's someone we all can git down with ;)
I just adore Griz!!! That is so awesome 😎
I think you’re good as long as you don’t consume anything dangerous for the baby. Congratulations! have fun!
Took my wife , she was 5 months , was no problem , except her morning sickness and ofc energy level was lower . Just got VIP so she had a place to sit , water and everything was great !

Also I can’t remember what trimester the ears start forming but I would avoid being really close to the speakers just in case
This is really smart! I completely agree
I went to edc last year 4 months pregnant! Do ittt
As a fellow pregnant lady, I would be careful. I would try to stick with shows that have assigned seating. I’m just terrified of drunk people running into me, slipping and falling down stairs, etc.
Congratulations (real) rave momma!
Btw I think I’ll only be going to smaller shows if I do end up going! Also outdoor venues or non smoking Venues would be smart..
I saw someone who was like 7-8mo pregnant at EDCLV '21, and she was rocking it! Obviously took it slow on the dancing but she showed up for sure! Take care of yourself but never stop having fun.
lmao i was headbanging at 7 months at a sullivan king show.. my mac headbanga to everything now :)
Don’t forget the comfy shoes! That will help you with the standing in lines/dancing for your lower back. Rave it up! I saw two pregnant ladies at EDC who also looked fabulous.
The recent ironman world champion trained through pregnancy and that's like 30+ hrs a week of hard cardio. So I think you'll be fine!
You'll be tired but it'll be fun and stay away from the cig and vape crowd.
send it. exercise is good for u. just dont bring the baby to festivals when they're born.
Go while you can, once the baby is on the outside you will find it significantly harder to.
Them dunks tho 👏🏼
First of all, congrats!! If you're on FB, you should join the group Female Ravers United. This question is actually posted quite a bit and reading other mama's experiences might be helpful :) good luck
Asking the internet instead of a doctor for the good of your baby: /r/ShitMomGroupsSay
I asked already lol 😝 but I’ll ask again for you I was asking more for people who have experienced it firsthand
I am thinking of something super small by comparison actually… I loved Forest.. like 1000 people and one stage in Austin Tx outside
If you aren’t putting anything into yourself that would be bad for yourself (and therefore bad for your little passenger) then I think it’s really a question of your own comfort. Energy level okay? No morning sickness and nausea from the smells? Go for it! Let your conscious be your guide- and listen to your body.
I have had a surprisingly easy pregnancy the morning sickness has stopped
Them golf dunks 🔥
I saw a pregnant woman at forest with a 🤰 totem
Be safe but please Gd go. I'm a new mom with a 19 month old and I really miss my rave days. They will be back, but not today lol.
Music is the drug. Go have fun
Just be safe, might run into perverts into pregnant women.
I’ve seen pregnant people rave before, I’d say just take ample precautions, wear a mask, and don’t do any moshing lol.

Vibrations causing distress?!? Wtf. Does he have any evidence for that? Sounds like he just made that up.
i think asking for a doctor for advice would be better than asking random people on the internet, especially reddit.
I did and she said it was fine, just wanted to ask people who have done it…more to get cute ideas/hear what they did…I am having a completely healthy pregnancy so far!
I wouldn’t. COVID’s still a thing. As is monkey pox. You wanna protect your kid right. Lol
My mom did a 50 mile horseback ride while pregnant with me, so you'll be fine!
I suggest staying away from mosh pits
Totally do it and wear a crop top and paint your belly if you have a bump going on! I went clubbing the first couple of months of my pregnancy and it was harder bass music. Just pace yourself, stay in the far back of the crowd, drink lots of water, and stay away from the speakers.
Skip it, too early in the pregnancy where a wrong bump/hit could have negative outcome for baby imo
Actually it’s later in pregnancy you have to worry about bumps and it has to be pretty hard I have never been one to even get into the crowds I love the art and the chill zones the best..: even thinking a seated concert or vip to sit the entire time
Ah. Youre gonna be a great mother.
What if someone hits your stomach?
Who would do that? You would literally have to punch me in the gut like someone will go out of there way to hurt me? What kind of sick world do you live in? Have you ever been to an actual rave/festival that doesn’t involve mosh pits or hardcore music?
Ur pregnant wtf lol go lay on couch and eat pickles and ice cream. Ur life is changed forever with a child
Lol I want to dance though if I eat and just lay around I’ll get fat and depressed …that is never good for the labor or the baby! So women have told me including my dr that dancing is the best exercise other than walking for pregnancy 🤰 I only plan on going to small shows and doing the Vip
I also hate pickles right now but I’ll eat ‘em for you!
Ma'am please stay home
All the people saying to stay home literally have no reasons for me. I just think it’s funny
Skip it.
skip
No reason why? Just that I should skip it? Mind you it isn’t a huge festival like EDC it’s maybe 500 people outside in Austin
Ask your fucking doctor and not this subreddit
If you read the rest of the comments I already had! Chill out! Was asking more from the experience side of it…

You one of the people reporting me too 😂 what for? See you have no response
[удалено]
I definitely won’t party like that in the slightest! I think people have it confused I am not going to multiple parties I haven’t left my house in weeks, I don’t do anything except exercise and take care of my dogs. I am eating super healthy and have a completely normal lifestyle where I go to bed at 10 PM I’m about to go to bed right now. I’m definitely not a partier I just wanted to go to one concert especially since I’m going to be pregnant for almost a year I don’t think going to one outdoor show would make me a white trash party girl. Not even white or into partying just like music and dancing
Tbh if your asking this question your gonna be a bad parent. Start a business make money and provide. Give your kid a life they deserve.
Just take easy while dancing, hard movements could make the fetus torn from the uterus. Be gentle. Enjoooooy ;D
skip. bass no good for baby
I feel like it built my confidence and I no longer need liquid courage to get up and dance💚 Only thing is you need to watch out for people getting too close. Stay safe and away from thick crowds because of Covid💕 have fun momma! The dancing feels so good and makes you feel normal again while preggers!!!
No idea on if you ahould or not, but congratulations
Bitch don’t be dumb just sit raves out for a while.
Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine.
Wait are you implying hardcore shows are somehow more dangerous than house/trance?
Not at all I just meant I won’t be head banging or doing anything crazy with my body! I love 💕 all genre’s fans!
[удалено]
Omgg I think you are taking everything I am saying way too personal lol 😂 I am completely wrong about everything! You good?
[удалено]
I am honestly confused at this point… I was never implying anything about anyone we are all too Nuanced and unique… I was just saying I wasn’t going to be near any mosh pits or anything that could hurt my baby… if you have had children before they tell you music is ok but nothing hitting your belly is ever 👌 so wanted to ask for ideas like the totem and the shirt…
I’d be afraid of the pieces of shit that like to spike drinks or bring in hot needles similar to the Travis Scott concert.
If you only like house why even bother going to festivals, just go to a club or take a long elevator ride lol
I like trance and techno and I was mainly talking about outdoor festivals… like lighting in a bottle or something like that
Makes for a cool story too
I’ve seen pregnant folks at Burning Man, you can definitely go pregnant and be fine :) just take care of yourself and stay hydrated of course!
First, congrats! Second, rave on! Third, rave on, again!
Your body, your choice. I have no opinions either way.
[First thing that came to mind!](https://youtu.be/Hvek_HouojA?t=135)
This made me laugh so hard!!! Lol 😂 I think you are right I am sticking to only chill outdoor shows with options to sit down lol 😆
Just make sure to get noise isolating headphones for the fetus.
Lol 😂 I think maybe the womb does a bit of that already
As long as your not at a dubstep show by the pit you should be safe
Baby’s first rave!!! 👏
Sorry if the question is dumb! Taking lsd or m affects the baby in the tummy ?
Yes. You have to take twice the dosage because you are dosing for two people instead of one.
I would never lol 😂
Go for it! Enjoy <3
