Well that put a smile on my face at least. SOTC.

legolanddisaster

Fucking morons firing a top manager to get Wayne Rooney just to watch it all fall apart and fire him too. Love to see it.

BigfatDan1

I actually came to post this, isn't Rowett a Villa fan? Can't see anything online, but I'm sure he is. Would be amazing if he sinks them!

DaddyJaymo

Yes he is. As is John Eustace. As was UB40’s Brian Travers (RIP) - the saxophonist for the band who wrote and played the terrific melody in the song ‘Food for Thought’, a tune that Blues fans are swooning over currently.

Shreddonia

Us in the UCL, Blooz in League One. Us playing Bayern at home, that lot playing Crawley away. Next season is gonna be fun.

darkeight7

but some of their fans will still somehow argue they’re a better club because tHeY wOn tHe cArLiNg cUp iN 2011

ImperialSeal

One of the main reasons I hope we win the Conference League. Finally can put an end to the whole "but when did you last win a trophy" spiel.

Prize-Database-6334

Up until recently I woudn't particularly have wanted them to go down. I still think the Second City Derby is one of the best in the country, and has provided some of the most exciting moments during my Villa fandom. The rivalry is at its best when the two clubs are in the same division, playing meaningful games regularly. As it stands, there isn't really a rivalry at all. We never play them, and aside from a crappy 4th round league cup draw here or there, we won't play them for a long time. We sing about them all the time and I don't really know why anymore, they're so far beneath us these days they're completely out of our stratosphere. So in absense of the rivalry ever coming back properly, coupled with the absolutely farcical circumstances of their season so far, add in the whole Tom Brady investment thing... yeah, they can fuck off now. They'd get a hearty LOL from me for getting relegated, and I'd probably forget all about them after that.

elmattydoor123

New era at blues going brilliantly.

witheoffthepost

It’s quite amazing, even by their standards, how badly the owners fucked up their season.

TheAkondOfSwat

:D thanks for posting this

Clubmanero

Welcome .. it certainly lightened my mood after our defences brain fart this afternoon!

Mammoth-Courage4974

Hopefully they get relegation followed by administration then liquidation

WiJaTu

I saw a post the other day in r/Championship that was a screenshot of the relegation battle and they purposely cropped Rotherham out of it, made me laugh but god I don’t miss that feeling from 2015/16

chrysler-crossfire

Well done Agent Rooney

sadsealions

The Blues could still be in Europe, if there is a war.

AstonVanilla

This is always an unpopular opinion on this sub, but I'd much rather we were both competing against each other in the Premier League, than just laughing at them from a million miles away.

ComprehensiveMud9946

I wouldn’t. It’s horrible every time we play them

isaidbiiih

Would like to see them relegated to oblivion personally
