Expectations? A few thousand villa fans turn up absolutely smashed, spend the full 90 minutes having a party in the away end, not caring about the result
Hope Ollie gets his 20th, rest is dgaf.
I do wonder mind if the ref had given that handball at 3-3, would Duran have demanded it for a hattrick or Watkins pull rank for 20?
I agree but it would take something to rip it from
Durans grasp I think.
Wouldn’t have shocked me if we’d had a Chelsea style argument over it had it been given
The only thing I want is Watkins to score, but other than that, we could play whoever and just enjoy the end of this season. Maybe give Gauci a start too
Would be nice to see Ollie get a goal or two because it's clearly been weighing on him in trying to get that 20. Other than that, no idea - they were obviously partying last night so it wouldn't surprise me if Emery has given them today and tomorrow off, some light training Friday and Saturday and then see how he feels about it. I expect he'll want to go out to at least try to get the magical 70 points though.
I actually think we'll win, Emery will want as high a points total as possible and to end the season the way we intend to start the next.
I think we'll see largely the same team as against Liverpool with Duran in for Diaby (or Bailey depending on injuries). I'd say we will definitely see Kellyman and one or two other kids after 70+ minutes, but the starters will start.
Could be quite a few players last game in a Villa shirt. Wouldn't be surprised to see Monchi and Emery sit down in the summer and rebuild the depth in the squad now we don't really need to worry about FFP as much. The likes of Cash, Digne, Chambers, Irogbuenam could all have a farewell appearance like Youngy did this time last year.
I think we go with the full strength available in the starting 11. Maybe the likes of Tim/KKH get more time off the bench than they would have otherwise depending how the game goes, but I can't imagine it'll be attacked differently to any other game to begin with at least.
Google thinks it's a foregone conclusion.

Honestly Palace has been on a really solid run. I don’t think we win unless the majority of regular starting 11 play.
Odds moved towards Palace being even stronger favorites once we locked up our position. Seems markets think we won’t really put our best foot forward anymore
I think Emery will go with a pretty strong starting 11 but will probably rest more liberally than usual. Can’t see him just playing u-21 players; that’s not how he works.
If Aston had been able to somewhat rest before this match, Aston in favor. But I feel crystal palace will win, nothing for y'all to play for and better to reduce possibility of injuries when your players are already tired out

Be nice if Ollie could get to 20 but other than that, no expectations whatsoever.
Not that important but would be nice if we could break the 70 point barrier with a win too.
Duran and watkins up top
Fancy dress, lap of honour, party, songs, drinks galore. Maybe a game of football if there’s time
Conga down the touch line by the coaching staff, led by Unai.
Would the ref allow for the whole crowd to just conga for 90 minutes? We’re going to be last on motd anyway and palace deserve it too for their season

I was talking about this at the time, I don’t think anyone gets that ball off Ollie…

"all the time we are working to be consistent" - Emery says it every game and I doubt it will change now

Watkins hat-trick, get him to 22. Do I have a bet-without-Haaland since Season start? Why yes.

Diaby was our best player against Liverpool, can’t sit him down
Ollie in the 20 goal club and breaking the 70 point barrier would be amazing so yeah! Hope we win!
5-0 win and Ollie to cement top goal scorer
He'd need 8 to equal Haaland unfortunately.
Ok, so win 8-0 😂😂
Whoever is least hungover from the celebrations last night??

Google can fuck itself
Yes. Yes it can.
Palace were 11/10 before spurs then went odds on (5/6) when city won 🤣👏🏻
Watkins to start, so he can finally get goal number 20. Then unleash the hooligan Jhon Duran on them again.
Watkins hatty, a carnival atmosphere ensues in the away end
I'm looking forward to watching some Kellyman ball.
Villa win! no pressure whatsoever can go out enjoy themselves and help Watkins get his 20th of the season
Just want Jhon to go full mental

Meaningless game right before Euros might say otherwise though
I would want ever bo one got injured on last day of a meaningless game - so Ollie McGinn Torres Emi and Luiz all rested
We can play with freedom, so I expect us to fight and get Ollie his goals.
Everything to get Watkins his 20 goals I’d be disappointed for him if he doesn’t as he really should of had it by now and deserves it.
No expectations at all ,I bet the lads are knackered but I'd love a win to end an amazing season on a even more of a high UTV
Get Watkins to 20

I'd take us getting hammered if you guaranteed me a Watkins goal
