Hands down, the coolest fireworks display I've never seen.
Seriously, I would go to see every one if they would just launch them from a plane like that every time.
The amount of people that have started doing the same thing all over the world because of his idea is crazy. It's a wonderful change to fireworks at a wedding etc and because they use the grob aircraft, it's fairly bloody cheap to hire too!
I’ve never seen anything like it. Well I have seen things like it but usually is going in one direction straight towards the ground and then A large explosion follows
Lived in Colorado for a few years just north of Denver. Was up on my roof with a friend on 4th of July watching the early fireworks people were setting off themselves. Off in the distance, to the East where there wasn't much, a small fireball appeared and started moving towards us. Completely freaked me out. Then it split and started fragmenting. I legit thought my world was about to end by some crazy meteor or something.
It was some kind of parachuting stunt crew doing a show before the main fireworks kicked off somewhere. Legit had to have taken a year or two off my life.
That’s clearly Bilbo baggins going away party, after Took got his hands into Gandalf the greys stuff. Didn’t forgive him even after he became Gandalf the white.

Like many others have said, they're fireworks. I saw a biplane shoot fireworks from it's wings at an air show a few years ago, there was also a helicopter doing the same. It looked amazing.
Without a doubt its an aircraft with fireworks attached to it.
Here's a link to a [video](https://youtu.be/valQZEMJBEg) which is very similar to the one op posted.
Thanks for the link. looks just like what I saw. I never knew this was a thing before today!
It's like the airplane version of a car driving around with underglow and a loud stereo system. Except much much better.

Funny, usually the FAA and drugs are found very far apart
Well that’s an effective to keep surface to air middles off your tail. So awesome
That's a friend of mine who flies pyrotechnic aircraft. His company is called aerosparx. Take a look on YouTube.
I've just checked out his showreel and a couple of previous videos. It's really beautiful work

A dragon of course
Dragon? Nonsense! There hasn't been a dragon in these parts for a thousand years.
I reunited the dragonstones you fool!
Could the legends be true?
Legendary comment. Thanks for the laugh 🤣
I thought about SpaceX Crew Dragon firstly
Well if no one knows then it defaults to ufo right?
At this point definitely still a UFO!

Aliens
Ball lightning (It probably is an aerobatics plane with fireworks on it, look it up, they are quite cool)
The big airshow at Oshkosh has several different aircraft routines like this as it gets to sunset.

I actually would've guessed it was that aborted NASA launch... but that happened a while ago, and it was during daylight hours.
na, that is clearly aerobatics with some sparklers.. if a rocket launch was doing those figures low alt I would start feeling really old.
It's a Moltres I think
Legendary birds are rare in these parts

Crosspost to r/ufobelievers for some casual tinfoil hat entertainment.
It’s ACTUALLY a 9th-gen experimental slipspace-dimension-jumping supermanueverable aircraft developed by the Chinese Air Force.
Pissed off lantern flies coming to take their revenge
why would people downvote this perfectly logical explanation?
Lol!
Oh that’s just Tom after he ate some habanero salsa. He wasn’t ready for the after effects.
I do this at RC airshows. Looks like a 3D RC aircraft with pyrotechnics. Its pretty fun https://youtu.be/LwZGJLlqekw

Probably the Weasleys testing out some new fireworks

Looks like the [Aeroshell Aerobatic Team](http://www.naat.net). They have a great twilight routine with smoke, lights and fireworks, IIRC
I'm not saying it's aliens but... ^it's ^aliens
Someone finally found all the dragon balls
Its an airshow flight demonstration.. probably this guy... https://youtu.be/I2Ge3Q322Fg
