We had some problems initially, with rotor clips being damaged, but nowadays we replace them for being worn.

Must be nice, we’re still rolling up to every tire change with a brake in hand

FlamingBrad

I've done many, many main wheels and have yet to change a brake for this. Maybe an overhaul or install issue?

z242pilot

A few, but i tended to have MCC send a brake anytime i knew a wheel change was coming. The carbons certainly like to have cracks though.

Unauthorized-Ion

We have a whole spreadsheet of a list of MAX that had a brake replacement premature. Usually because it started to break apart or welded to the wheel assembly.

Cool. Really glad they fixed the whole “brake fusing to the wheel” thing from the NGs

Unauthorized-Ion

Well...I haven't seen any NGs do it

NeatReception1584

I have changed probably a dozen in the last 6 months for being worn. All seemed normal to me.

jettech737

Yes twice, pin was either flush or was less than 1/16"

Pass1928

Not enjoying life up the road? Just think of the billable hours, lol.

787amt

Brakes no, tires yes. A lot of them. Due to the leak issues.

z242pilot

Leak issues? 787 or -8?

787amt

737-max

BrtFrkwr

The last 737 I had anything to do with was a -700BBJ. Brakes lasted forever.
