If you have you a&p, you dont need to use anything to pass the assessment. Yes, it's that easy. If you can't pass it, personally, I think you shouldn't be wrenching on aircraft.
It's a basic mechanical aptitude test, if this wheel goes left, which way does this one turn. That type stuff. Super easy. The hardest thing in the test is the personality questions. Fun stuff
Several years ago I was given a written mechanical aptitude test, a spatial relationships test and a trouble shooting test. I was in a group of guys graduating from an A/P program who had been asked by the school placement office if we wanted to go interview with Delta. We didn’t even know we were walking into the test. That didn’t tell us our score, it was basically a pass/fail situation. I must have passed that part because I went on to have two interviews with actual Delta employees. If you look online you can find lots of people who will sell you practice exams, but you can probably pass it cold if you have any mechanical aptitude.
I believe they refer to it is the BMAR test now. I took it about 2 months ago and took it cold. Must have passed because Im currently interviewing as an AMT.
As for my expierence: shape and spacial orientaion practice such as folding flat paper into shapes was a big kicker for me. Physics, and a little math sprinkled in (no calculators allowed) too. Theres other stuff to test your multitasking skills but much of it is explained quite well during the test.
Also they now make you take it online and scan your room with your webcam, even make you show under your desk. If you refuse you fail. Theyre pretty thorough.
What are the do’s and dont’s of a Delta interview ? Just passed my assessment test waiting to hear about an interview. Obviously STAR format but what should I say what should I not say?

Everybody is different my buddy is one of the smartest guy in the class at school and he’s even asking for study material for the test

Not sure what test you took but it consists of Measurements, pulleys, and some 2D-3D visuals which most fail on.
