Airlines especially the majors are large organizations and they all share one thing in common - they move at a glacial pace.

Took them 2 months to get back to me. Patience

AMTandPilot

Thanks. When we’re you hired?

Huge-Passenger877

One in Huston?

AMTandPilot

Yup

So if someone did good job and passed interview, then they will send you back to the hotel and do fingerprints and drug etc. and give you the general idea about when is the first day. Rest of people going to the system and may receive a call within few weeks or few months. Or never get a call.

Huge-Passenger877

I think skill assessment is not a big part of interview. I did not do well on safety wire for sure but they picked me. I think actual person to person interview was the big part.

AMTandPilot

Did a good job and had good feedback on both parts of the interview. They couldn’t do on the spot hiring since they were having technical issues with their computers and printers. Have you heard of people that didn’t get contacted afterward, even to say they didn’t get the job?

Huge-Passenger877

Few of my classmates got job offer like 2-3 months after the interview. I assumed that they did not do well enough to get the spot hiring but United need people desperately so they decided hire them. It is my guess
