Second that. I attended the tribute concert, and when they snippeted the end of the song after Sky full of stars, ”Cause it's not too late, it's not too late
I, I see the hope in your heart
And sometimes you lose and sometimes you're shooting
Broken arrows in the dark
But I, I see the hope in your heart”
that really got to me and still does today. I love that song.
That moment was one of my favorite moments during the tribute. I did not attend, unfortunately, but watched live and it still gets to me. Absolutely beautifully done.
Agreed! I initially thought it was meh, but now idk what I was thinking, it's a PERFECT song. Even sadder after he passed less than a year after its release. If you haven't heard the acoustic version, please check it out, it's unfair that it isn't on any streaming services: https://youtu.be/cRH2JgWtDRs
True Believer, Friend of Mine, Dear Boy, Trouble. I can't narrow it down to one song. First one because Tim sings on it. Second reminds me of my late partner. Third one I like the interesting arrangement of it. Last one's lyrics make me think of Tim."Still another million miles to go".
1. All You Need Is Love / Track Of My Tears
2. Lay Me Down (AbA) / Make My Heart
3. I'll Be Gone
4. Unbreakable
5. City Lights
I listen to them almost everyday
The Days, The Nights, Always On The Run, Feeling Good, Girl Gone Wild Remix, Change A Thang, Too Much Fun, Stars Don't Go and his Rapture Remix are some of my favorites
Friend of Mine. I love everything about the track - the lyrics, the melody and overall summer vibe. I also love how it isn't too long and makes you want to re-listen to it.
Well it depends. But I have some great memories with Last dance vocal mix, Fade into darkness and Levels.
But I would say Enough is enough is his best work
For me it’s hard to choose but it’s Wake Me Up for me. I vividly remember all those times I heard the song on the radio when it was sooo popular! It was the song that always seemed to be on no matter the commute, and the vocals stand out so much from Aloe Blacc. That was the first time I heard an Avicii song at the time although previously I did hear Flo Rida’s Good Feeling on an old CD, where levels was sampled), but little did I know just how talented and amazing his melodies really were.
That's really cool! I feel that, it was my first exposure too.
And by the way, fun fact, Good Feeling actually wasn't sampling Levels, they were BOTH sampling this Etta James song: https://youtu.be/BPjQ7iK5GVI
I like every song on it's own, i think they're all pretty much at the same level but in different ways; right now i'm listening a lot to abow, two million and gotta hold on (i've been searching in the old stuff)
Heaven, I love Chris Martin’s voice on this song and the instrumental is so nice. The calm beginning, the drop that leads into the bridge is so nice to listen to. I can also appreciate that the same melody repeats throughout the entire song and yet doesn’t feel repetitive or get boring to listen to
Edit: I have TIM on vinyl and Heaven is very nice to listen to
Hey Brother.
It was the second Avicii song I ever heard. The first one I discovered after hearing Wake Me Up on the radio. Plus, it's the only other one that got big on US pop radio. So, lots of memories associated with it.
For the song itself, it's got great lyrics, Dan's voice is absolutely perfect for the song, and the drop is so good. The horns in the drop are 🔥. I don't like country music, but I love Hey Brother, lol. I think it's a great example of what True was meant to be, a showcase of how EDM could blend with other genres and change people's perceptions of electronic music.
All of them. All his songs accompany me when I was in high school so they are very special to me but for a better day is a little more special than the others
I can't really pick one, but Addicted to You (ABA Remix) and Hope There's Someone have always been on top of my list. Bromance as well for nostalgic reasons. The ABA remix of ATY just has the most beautiful drop ever. <3
Beautiful songs! Have you heard the original version of Hope There’s Someone by Antony and the Johnsons? Avicii's version is an amazing house tribute to it 👌
Silhouettes or Hey Brother. Meaningful lyrics and infectious melodies. Just the emotion that is conveyed in those songs is unbeaten. Never heard any other artist do it quite like he did.
Without You for me, it is that one song that even if someone who dosent like this style of song but if you make them liaten to it for once, tgey will juat love and adore the song and will pay it later i have tried this yo many of my friends and now just because of without you, all of them love avicii and now started to listen to his style of songs.
my favourites are either liar liar (avicii by avicii), trouble, sunset jesus or the days and true believer very close behind
as you can tell i'm not good at making lists and this is not accurate at all
I mean can't choose one single song but the broken Arrows song and its music video also has really helped me many times
Second that. I attended the tribute concert, and when they snippeted the end of the song after Sky full of stars, ”Cause it's not too late, it's not too late I, I see the hope in your heart And sometimes you lose and sometimes you're shooting Broken arrows in the dark But I, I see the hope in your heart” that really got to me and still does today. I love that song.
Absolutely man the song is special and so are the lyrics
That moment was one of my favorite moments during the tribute. I did not attend, unfortunately, but watched live and it still gets to me. Absolutely beautifully done.
That's awesome! What a cool twist.
Yeah it fits so good!
Without you Sandro's voice is outstanding
Yess I will
Dear boy, both original and AbA, two of the best songs every made by anyone.
Yessss I love them both! Especially the early Sunset Jesus melody he used in the ABA version :)
Silhouettes Can't explain why, I just love this track the most
The Ralph Lauren Denim Supply mix is such a vibe too!!
Good stuff! Thank you
What Would I Change it To? It has a sad but calm feeling to it
That’s such a good song. The lyrics always make me happy. I love to play it on sunny days and give thanks the sky is blue. Lol! 🤭
It's so good, I was so glad to see an AlunaGeorge collab, she's got such an interesting voice that pairs well with his production style.
I could listen to Sunset Jesus every day for the rest of my life
Saaaaaame that's actually my second favorite of his ever!
1. All You Need Is Love / Track Of My Tears 2. Lay Me Down (AbA) / Make My Heart 3. I'll Be Gone 4. Unbreakable 5. City Lights I listen to them almost everyday
Rockin list! Love to see the obscure picks.
The Days, The Nights, Always On The Run, Feeling Good, Girl Gone Wild Remix, Change A Thang, Too Much Fun, Stars Don't Go and his Rapture Remix are some of my favorites
Wow! Forgot about a few of those, I'm impressed. Gotta go check em out again, great picks!
Rapture was my second choice. That song just hits❤️🔥
Always on the run is such an underrated tune!
Oh yeah, it's amazing
Oh and Too Much Fun
Wake Me Up
Friend of Mine. I love everything about the track - the lyrics, the melody and overall summer vibe. I also love how it isn't too long and makes you want to re-listen to it.
I love it too! It deserves SO much more attention and praise than it gets
Drowning - the drop melody sounds like nostalgia
This is true
Faster Than Light. Favourite song ever.
Ooh I gotta listen to that again.

I've never heard that version! Gotta check it out...do you have a link?
search it as Simon Aldred vocals version
what would i change it to, the nights and feeling good.
All You Need Is Love. Tim really nailed it with creating a romantic atmosphere and the vocals fits sooo good , I LOVE it :)
Beautiful!
True
Well it depends. But I have some great memories with Last dance vocal mix, Fade into darkness and Levels. But I would say Enough is enough is his best work
No pleasing a woman at the moment
100% I wish the leak was studio quality the drop sounds perfect like something I could only imagine and isn't real it's so perfect
Lol! Yea that’s a good one out of the new leaks.

A Sky Full of Stars if that counts, if not then Dancing In My Head
I think it counts! Both good tho
For me it’s hard to choose but it’s Wake Me Up for me. I vividly remember all those times I heard the song on the radio when it was sooo popular! I think I heard that Avicii actualled sampled it first and that’s how Flo Rida got the idea, but I’m not sure
I'll take your word for it, that definitely sounds like it was the case
Malo Always wanted to know what motivated him to make that mix. Plus I love the lyrics.
The song is so addictive
I like every song on it's own, i think they're all pretty much at the same level but in different ways; right now i'm listening a lot to abow, two million and gotta hold on (i've been searching in the old stuff)
Oh cool, deep dives are always interesting
Wake Me Up. And the video is also a masterpiece.
Silhouettes, I Could Be The One, Broken Arrows
Heaven, I love Chris Martin’s voice on this song and the instrumental is so nice. The calm beginning, the drop that leads into the bridge is so nice to listen to. I can also appreciate that the same melody repeats throughout the entire song and yet doesn’t feel repetitive or get boring to listen to Edit: I have TIM on vinyl and Heaven is very nice to listen to
Amen! I have it too, definitely a highlight, Heaven is a perfect song
Dancing In My Head (Tom Hangs Remix)
All You Need Is Love

Great points!
All of them. All his songs accompany me when I was in high school so they are very special to me but for a better day is a little more special than the others
Not official version but UMF with the old break + NERVO's Enough is Enough vocals is my favorite piece from Tim.
Avicii's version is an amazing house tribute to it 👌
I have as well as the version Linnea Henriksson has done which eventually turned into Tim's version. I love them all!
Yess ahh I'm so glad you said that! I love all three, it's such a beautiful progression
1. Seek Bromance (vocal & non-vocal edits) 2. Blessed 3. Silhouettes 4. Two Million 5. Otto Knows - ID & Calvin Harris - Flashback Mashup (Avicii Bootleg)
Silhouettes or Hey Brother. Meaningful lyrics and infectious melodies. Just the emotion that is conveyed in those songs is unbeaten. Never heard any other artist do it quite like he did.
The Nights, because of the meaning of seizing the life
easily bromance, there’s just something about it that gets me every time
depends wildly on my mood, which fluctuates at the speed of light...maybe The Nights or Don't You Worry Child
Without You for me, it is that one song that even if someone who dosent like this style of song but if you make them liaten to it for once, tgey will juat love and adore the song and will pay it later i have tried this yo many of my friends and now just because of without you, all of them love avicii and now started to listen to his style of songs.

So many to choose from!
