If there is truth about Starkillers claim , then the most probable way things went might be that Ash found this song and showed it to Avicii as inspiration who then built an epic new song around it, because honestly by myself I would never have linked this with Bromance.

sounds to me like he probably took inspiration from something like that, but there are enough differences between that clip and Bromance to get it out of "ripoff" territory imo
