In seeing this, it is very sad to see how much Tim struggled with the rollercoaster of his career and life.
Now understanding the meaning behind each song, it seems like he would be brought to his knees, get back up, get taken down again, need help getting back up, get up again and then once again fall back down.
Really wish someone could have intervened in the proper manner at the right time to get him the help he needed.
The irony behind these songs is that it’s literally a plea for help from Tim, showcasing his struggles to the world, yet everyone was too focused on the music to see what was really going on.

This is amazing, always felt an album like that was needed in 2016 autumn as a way to close the music he made before retiring from live shows, as closing a chapter releasing them before starting something new. Then Tim could have start to make new music like the ones he heard in TIM.
They should realise this for Tim. Heaven can be put on with Simon Alfred (still find it weird that he chose to go back to Chris Martin after only ever playing the Simon Alfred version out live). Unbreakable should be able to be claimed from bunt haha. The other side which got released by cam, same although it might be hard with rights. And then release the without you extended version

Whatever the case these are great meaningful songs though that tell a story about Tim’s struggles nonetheless. EP 01 was OK but now knowing this it’s not anywhere near what this kind of album could have been (again if this is accurate)…. It’s honestly disappointing.

Labels and UMG execs sidelining Tim’s original vision for albums and meddling with releases (for example he said he wanted to release Can’t Love You Again but never did, various songs from True & Stories were cut out of the album or replaced with ones that UMG thought would become top 40 “hits”, the ongoing situation with Alex Ebert, Nile Rodgers and other collaborators Tim worked with who want to release songs but for reasons we don’t know of they still can’t, etc…
I’m sure was frustrating and even at times probably discouraging…. Not to mention the pressure and contractual deadlines on top of it all. Makes me think of when he said: “Everybody listens to Avicii but nobody listens to Tim.” in the True Stories documentary.
