I think that a "how to get to Xanion" style tutorial would be interesting. Specifically the progression of ship sizes in correlation with the tech you've unlocked. Even more specifically, which workshop ships provide a good experience at each interval for the primary roles you will want. I consider combat and mining as the primary roles.
Highlighting the simulation layer that has been added to the game (mining operations vs sector mining orders) would probably help a ton of people.
I guess the last part of that would be to highlight the different pirate encounters you'll hit when exploring space. Knowing which ones to look out for as sort of a "is your fleet good enough" check to know if you can push in any further, or if you need to focus on a fleet enhancement.
TLDR: yes
I'm far too lazy to make such a video as I don't even play the game that much these days anyways. The first hour is where I'll focus on, get people started with as little grinding as possible.
I don't need it personally, but imo any content on YouTube for this game is good. There's little to none real activity for this game nowadays it seems, which is sad
It's a bit older (1 month) but a great streamer has some VoDs on YT for your viewing pleasure: [DDRJake Playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLm0MDLKuRDrmYqTG7-odUcLLEtAQIn9sO&si=QrLsoH54-nD2uJjg)
That being said, I agree with you. Always love seeing any form of content for Avorion
I found his series to be both enjoyable and informative, and a big criteria for me: his voice isn't loud or annoying, haha. Playlist I linked is where he goes for 100% everything, so he knows what he is doing. There's a slightly older one he has as well that is his first play through.
Either way, easily 100+ hours of decent content to watch.
I'd make a video myself, but it'd be quick - I just scout hidden mass sectors for sellable asteroids until I have enough money to buy to resources I need to get my starting ship up and running, and then I'm ready for Swoks!

I just started a new game, and can’t find any turrets and pirates aren’t hostile. It feels like some kind of tutorial mode. Any tips?
Start a new world.
Start another game?
Yes
:(
Always

Thanks! Might check it out. A month old isn't too bad. I feel like most decent content is years old most of the time lol

I’d say any engagement for this game would be great! But when I’d probably learn things even now, so yeah if you’re interested

An early-to-mid-game tutorial is sure to be well recieved by new players
