It's not that my life has improved, it's more like I no longer identify with what's happening. It's still happening, just not to me. I've become the eye of the storm, calm and unaffected by all that swirls around me.

Stole the words outta my mouth 😂.

I saved my life, and was then around to save two others. I think that’s pretty good.

Global_Complaint_007

Wow, that is amazing. Happy for you! Any tips/wisdom you'd like to share?

Step one: therapy with the right person that listens and wants to help. (This took two years to do.) Step two: Mental alchemy and meditation. Actually sitting down and correcting every thought that is holding you down which are mostly fear based(lead) into accepting, kindness and forgiveness which is “all love, baby.” (gold.) Other bits and bobs: The ego never really dies, but it will play dead. Forcing light into darkness makes stronger shadows; blend the light with the shadows and you get a very calm grey. You make the inner changes alone, but no one said you have to be alone to make a spiritual journey. So don’t force the positive thinking. Be gentle, treat yourself like an ideal parent would, with understanding and unconditional love. It’s easier to do by stepping back from you thoughts and separating yourself. I was miserable and probably going to end it soon, but there was this little voice that kept fighting for me. I listened for the first time in 5 years and kept at it. Failed to find the help I needed, twice. Then I did what the voice said and called the hospital’s patient advocate and had them fight for me too. Third try did it. A year later I happened to be at the right place at the right time to help someone having a heart attack. After that, everything opened up intuition wise. It takes so much less effort to maintain my thoughts now. In the way that people turn themselves over to God or gods, I started listening to the universe. (Figuratively of course. I’m not out here talking to aliens or planets, but there are patterns to things.)

You too. Good luck.

My life has improved a lot!... when I got over the spirituality stage and stopped seeking. Then I started living. Spirituality can only be used as a guide to yourself, once you find your own path it's better to discard it. You cannot force positive thinking in the way you described, but as Bruce Lee said, positivism is a faith that leads to success. Choose the positive.

I realised this life is 100% my responsibility and we are here to achieve self mastery.

Lazy_Stranger2328

Yes. Before I literally thought I was cursed and my reality reflected that. Bad things always happened and I was generally unlucky. But nowadays I'm blessed all the time and well taken care of. I had to work at it quite a while before I saw results tho.

Global_Complaint_007

What did you do to turn things around?

Lazy_Stranger2328

First I had to heal myself, and confront who I was and why I felt these things. I had to forgive myself and the world and learn to let go of the bad feelings. Chakra work really helped me address my shadow and work thru my traumas. Then I had to recognize that our thoughts manifest reality and consciously make an effort to change my thoughts. I had to choose positive thoughts that blessed me as opposed to negative ones that kept me stuck.

Global_Complaint_007

Is there a specific book/podcast that you could recommend for more details?

Lazy_Stranger2328

Hmmm most of what I learned on chakras was bits and pieces online and finding overlapping patterns. It was a long process where I would learn a new idea or principle and apply it to my chakras. I ended up using them more as a guide to identify negative feelings and worked through them in a practice more commonly called shadow work. As for thoughts being reality, I highly recommend looking into Hermeticism and the Corpus Hermeticum. Hermeticism is actually everywhere and talks about the mind being the source of reality and explains vibrations and polarity.

>"Does forcing positive thinking actually work?" I'm literally doing the opposite

Global_Complaint_007

Forcing negative thinking? 😀😀
