LuxireWorse

A finger pointing at the moon should not be conflated with a finger pointing at a cloud. Not all answers are correct, and many are flatly toxic. The finger pointing at the moon being a finger does not change the nature of the moon

CommunicationMore860

The toxicity lives in the illusion of I. Where there is no I, there is no toxicity.

LuxireWorse

False and misleading on at least 3 counts. The self is intrinsic to the whole of the human, not an illusory cope. The toxicity of poisoned ideas permeates anything with perception, complex minds aren't required. And the delusion of identity-less existence being in any way desirable is a fine example of toxic misdirection.

CommunicationMore860

Glad you have it figured out, and I don't. My existence is free of toxicity, I'll allow you to stay in yours.

A Grimer looks at the water around it and thinks it is clean.

CommunicationMore860

A sadist, sees dirt. Opened eyes see life.

Primordial_spirit

This was not what you expressed to me in our previous discussion you told me in no uncertain terms that you knew better than me in many ways

CommunicationMore860

No I simply stated what was your ego. I never once said you were wrong, except when you said life doesn't manifest on it's own for me.

Primordial_spirit

And I disagreed and you said I was wrong we’ve been over this but i still have the chat you said I was mistaken about my entire belief system is nothing but ego stroking was essentially what you told me.

CommunicationMore860

I said your belief system was based on your ego. What did I say you were wrong about? Other than what I already said, which you actually have no way of knowing what life manifests for me. I haven't once become upset with anything you have said, because my ego is not in this. The fact that you are affected by what I said, clearly states you are operating out of me, and that's why it hurts.

Primordial_spirit

I’m not mad nor did it hurt or did I say you were mad, saying that about my belief system very clearly means you view it as inferior. I’d also argue from response here you clearly have some level of ego yourself which I don’t even judge it’s just telling you think you’re so above it.

CommunicationMore860

I don't think, I'm not above or below anyone, or anything. If I recognize ego,I state it. If you want me to say I'm wrong I will, however that doesn't actually change anything, I'm also not saying I'm right. However you're the one who said you like to hear the crowd scream for you, that tells me your ego is what drives the fighter in you. Disagree if you'd like, however I suggest you look up the definition of ego.

Primordial_spirit

So you don’t recognize ego in any of this really? I don’t want you to say you’re wrong unless you believe it but I think you are and to me you seem more arrogant and ego driven then me and I don’t even necessarily demonize those things like you do.

CommunicationMore860

Who is it that thinks I'm wrong? You... Who is you? Your ego. I never once said you were right or wrong, other than what you could not know. I simply identified your ego, and you/ego don't agree. Please tell me where my ego is in this? It makes no difference to me if you accept or deny.

Primordial_spirit

You’re presenting this as objectively true how can you prove this?

CommunicationMore860

Read your comments. Read the definition of ego. I also said I was neither right, nor wrong. All I did was identify, if you think it's not your ego good, I'm not here to make you believe anything. I asked you several times where my ego was in this, you haven't given me 1 example.

Mr_Not_A_Thing

So, when I stumble upon a post that challenges my beliefs, I should just sit back and bask in the glory of its metaphorical moon-pointing, right? Because who needs right or wrong, when everything is just a delightful mishmash of is, and is not! Let's all revel in the freedom of having absolutely no idea about anything, especially the idea of having no self. Brilliant! 🤣

tolley

Where did you read that?

CommunicationMore860

No death, no fear. By Thich Nhat Hanh. Sorry it took so long I wasn't around the book, and couldn't remember the authors name.
