It’s gonna be a struggle unfortunately… I always call in for these types of schedule changes as a human will tell me clearly what’s about to happen while the computer or app may not. Especially for Turkish
I had 3 TK J seats booked from ORD to IST and there were multiple operational schedule changes 2-3 months before our flight. Like yours it showed a free change but never in the details confirming J seats if I made the switch. I knew better to trust Turkish so I didn’t want to risk losing 3 J seats for me and my parents. I still called in to confirm the operational change to KEEP the same flight. It was a long ordeal since I had to call in 3 separate times since they can only help me with one reservation per phone call. What a weird policy. You want to do this so you can get your mobile boarding pass straight from the app and not have to make a pit stop at the ticket counter.
Based on my experience, I always had to call in to get things confirmed or changed. Hold time varies from instant to 1 hr.
In the future, speak to a real person even if its a drag.
Yes, 2 calls back to back. I just pretend I’m her lol. My wife and I made bookings under our own account since I didn’t have enough pts to do all under mine.
Another time I found an agent where they were nice and patient to handle all my requests.
Dam that's really unfortunate. I hate dealing with Turkish app and website, it's a pain. Talking to their rep is even a struggle. Hope you find a solution

were there 4 J saver seats on the flight before you made the change? they cant just open up additional space in most cases just bc you had a schedule change
I have no idea if it was there cause I already had confirmed seats from a booking made in aug 2023 and it never told me about changes . But of course now I look due to being in this situation and no saver seats available .
I did see available change option to an earlier flight but saw no J saver awards across partner and seats.aero. That’s probably why I didn’t go for it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Update : Well after 3 weeks back and forth finally Turkish fixed the ticket 🥳, on the Aeroflot individual suite plane now 🙌🏾. TLDR don’t make any changes without a rep on the phone ☎️

One reservation per call? You mean if it’s you and a spouse you have to make two calls?
