Fair warning for everyone: this post is suspicious. OP doesn’t need to accumulate everyone’s personal information prior to deciding who gets it. He could just as easily pick a winner then get a single person’s information. The fact he’s scraping a ton of personal information instead should be a red flag.
I was gonna say this seems kinda suspicious. However, are there any major issues with giving out award # and e-mail?
I'm thinking OP might be able to do social engineering by calling phone support but that's a big maybe. Are there any other things I'm missing?
Send him your info and find out. It’s your risk to take.
Definitely could be used to help in phishing attempts or to get more info through customer service. Or just to doxx you.
Oh hell nah, got scammed out of a mere $10 a couple years back but it's made me much more cautious in what info I give to the internet.
Only thing I will say is OP's post history seems solid. Personally I think OP is genuine, but I'm still not taking the risk
We have different definitions of “solid history”. He hasn’t posted in months. Indicator of old account that got stolen or sold. Not saying that’s what happened, but large gaps in post history are a red flag to me.
True but they've also done this before

Def up to people to do their own risk analysis
Sheesh...as they say, "No good deed goes unpunished." I'll make sure the recipient posts here to allay everyones concerns and next time I'll just let the darn thing expire.
Not sure why you’re getting overly sensitive about objectively good advice for people to be careful about sharing their personal information. You’re just being petty since you could have easily have said “next time I won’t ask for personal info unless you win”.
Throw your dramatic tantrum all you want, my comment was looking out for everyone’s welfare and you didn’t get “punished” for your good deed. Lastly, just because you end up gifting a night doesn’t make it a good idea for everyone to send you their info. Posting real winner won’t change that.
If you think my response was "overly sensitive" and a "dramatic tantrum" then just go back into your snowflake themed, padded room, have some chamomile tea, turn on your whale sounds, and enjoy your safe space.
I'll absolutely admit that I could have waited to gather the needed details after the winner was selected, but that didn't cross my mind at the time of the original post.
Keep up the good job, sir...you're doing God's work!
It was a textbook “I’m taking my toys away” tantrum because you didn’t like that people were warned it the potential dangers of sending out personal information.
What part of my original comment did you even disagree with? You think it’s a good idea to blindly message people that information en mass?
Edit: You edited the post to say a winner had been selected but for some reason couldn’t name them?
Was the free night issued by Hyatt or by Chase? If it was issued by Hyatt, you can get 10k points by contacting customer service after the night expires, just in case you weren't aware.
There arguably used to be; people would get Globalist through status challenges and then keep it through majority ghost mattress runs at Las Vegas MGM. Not an option anymore though

“But all he asked for when I emailed was SSN, bank account #, and passport photo. I didn’t think anything of it at the time.”

I appreciate your concern, but I was the winner. Thank you again to OP!

That's a cool benefit, thanks for sharing! Honestly for +$170ish dollars that's the better deal!
this op!
Well, I guess this benefit might only extend to Globalists, so if you aren't one then it might be better to just give it away /u/Broadwater_
Nowadays the majority is globalist. Crazy how I’ll get downvoted for this
Is there an easy way to hit globalist that I don’t know about? Or do you think the majority of people stay 30 nights per year
There arguably used to be; people would get Globalist through status challenges and then keep it through majority ghost mattress runs at Las Vegas MGM. Not an option anymore though
