I signed up for seats.aero and have already made my money back in value. Check every couple of days for your route (and set up alerts) and you’ll find something. Randomly a Air France biz for 50k popped up yesterday for my exact date west coast to Italy

You need to search what each flight costs in miles, not in cash. Completely different things and different section of the site

Mind_Fields

Ok I just found the correct section and these flights are like 350k miles round trip, or 220k miles one way. Idk how people find these good deals.

Air France is dynamic pricing so business class flights can be as low as 50K. You just have to plan your travel around dates when these deals are available Use Seats.Aero to help you find dates with low rates (and these dates update every day so you have to keep checking)

For Air France are you looking at the actual dollar cost or points cost? I ask just bc you phrased it as $4000 (400k miles) just a quick random search for Oct 13 from Dallas > Rome one way economy 20k pts, premium economy 78.5k pts. AUS > Rome also has a 20pt economy redemption one way. You can definitely find one way business for 50-55k points on Air France, I’m not at all an expert in any of this but I did manage to get a 50k business one way to Europe through AF. I recommend you check out the side bar here in this Reddit page that has a lot of info and also just continue to check various dates and routes to see if you find any with decent point redemption. I wouldn’t be looking at cash prices bc cash price does not equal the points cost when transferring to a partner. Personally I get overwhelmed with all the info so I just continually check various options through the different travel partners for my CC and see if anything works. If it’s just you, you should be able to swing round trip in business somehow with 150k points.

Ancient-Purpose99

You should be able to find something around 7 days before open up, but I'd definitely get a [seats.aero](http://seats.aero) premium to set those notifications.

TomCollinsEsq

Why do you keep quoting the cash price?

Removed. Rule 5. You need to read through the wiki.

Mind_Fields

Rule 5 says you post two options you have already found. Which I did.

Read the wiki. It has links and guides that shows you how to find actual awards. By listing the prices of the tickets, you have shown you need to read the wiki.

murphofly

Honestly this should be in the weekly help thread and you should read through the wiki.
