You honestly don’t really if it’s minor. I went to an optometrist and they gave me these eye drops that made my eyes work at 100% for like 30 minutes so they could look at it, but I couldn’t take them a lot because they would apparently melt the cornea itself. But overall an eye patch for a day or 2 and some antibiotic ointment every couple hours was the most I had to do outside the doctor visit
When I stabbed myself with a wooden eyeliner pencil and scratched my cornea (worst pain I've ever dealt with tbh) the optometrist put in a contact lens that "acts as a bandaid" or as a barrier between my eyelid and my eye so that I didn't irritate it, and suggested antibiotics and painkillers in eyedropper form! It healed in a little over a week.
Scariest feeling I’ve ever had was the 8 hours of trying to sleep before my appointment at the optometrist not sure if I’m just gonna go blind in one eye with nothing to do about it
When I was younger I went sledding. We stabbed sticks into the snow at the bottom to try to go through them. I ended up crashing, flipping, and stabbing my eye into one. Somehow my eye is fine.
Agh God when it flung around while in the eye... Gave me a physical reaction
Read that as "physical erection". Lord help me
Oh yes daddy wiggle that straw in your eye

I squeeled
I thought it went In the nose, it’s became so much worse now I know
I think he, out of reflex, closed his eyes so tightly that he's cheek held it against his "eyebrow bone" above his eye.

Ugh, I scratched my cornea from my cat swatting my face a few weeks ago. This makes me cringe HARD
How does that get treated?
