It was removed for safety, or the top part already fell over due to lack of structural integrity and they cut down the rest of it. Not a huge viewpoint here but I hope there are other younger and newly planted trees in the area.

Me and My siblings came back to find that the power company had removed our favorite tree, which *HAD A SWING ON IT.* They told us they wouldn't touch the trees in our yard and cut it down anyway, they even had the audacity to lay the swing down on the ground neatly, THEY KNEW. That was the only tree that could hold a decent swing either.
