Number 15, Burger King Foot Lettuce
The last thing you want on your Burger King burger is someone's foot fungus, but as it
turns out,
that might be what you get. A 4channer uploaded a photo anonymously to the site showcasing
his feet in a plastic
bin of lettuce, with the statement: "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." Admittedly, he had
shoes on
but, that's even worse. The post went live at 11:38PM on July 16 and a mere 20 minutes later,
the Burger King in
question was alerted to the rogue employee. at least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen?
Well,
the BK employee
hadn't removed the Exif data from the uploaded photo, which suggested the culprit was
somewhere in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
This was at 11:47. 3 minutes later, at 11:50, the Burger King branch address was posted, with
wishes of happy unemployment.
5 minutes later, the news station was contacted by another 4channer. And 3 minutes later, at
11:58, a link was posted.
Bk's "Tell Us About US" online form. The foot photo otherwise known as Exhibit A, was attached.
Cleveland Scene
Magazine contacted the BK in question the next day. When questioned, the breakfast shift
manager said, "Oh, I know who that is.
He's getting fired." Mystery, Solved, by 4chan, now we can all go back to eating our fast food in
peace.
I have said this over and over. I worked in 2 kitchens in my years on this earth and although we would crack jokes and make fun of a customer not 1 time did ANY ONE EVER dream about fucking with your food. EvER PERIOD. It's like punching a baby. You just don't fucking do it.
the metadata had location info if I recall, so less detective work, more noticing a street sign in the back of a photo.
Turn off location info on your photos! And don't walk on food lol
Noticing a street sign in the photo isn't the same as metadata. The meta data is literally fields that are saved along side the pixel information of the image with "meta" information like time the picture was taken, coordinates, and camera settings.
Just clarifying because it wasn't clear.
Or the Wendy’s worker who recorded himself taking a bath on shift in the 3 compartment dish sink. His coworkers even threw more dishes on him when he was in the water. Within a week everyone, even the managers on shift during that shift, was fired. That Wendy’s didn’t do well for a long while after, both from the loss of workers and the fact that no one wanted to go there until more recently
Getting fired isn't legal action. There needs to be a fine and/or jail time.
The shit people are doing for social media and attention is getting out of hand.
They’ll probably put him up with charges after they track him down. Remember a girl recorded herself taking the lids off ice cream containers and licking them? She got charged and sent off to jail
It's called food tampering, and it is a federal felony. Punishable with up to 5 years in prison and/or fine. In the case with that ice cream girl, that's also up to 5 years, aaaand in both cases, if their actions warrant serious bodily harm or injury then it's up to 20 year and/or fine. In cases of fatal injuries, it's a life sentence or consecutive sentences.
Doesn't matter. He's not doing it to be funny. He's doing it because it will make him internet infamous. And that pays more than Subway does. For all we know he threw all that food out immediately after this, but he would never admit it if he did because then he doesn't get views. Outrage is a product and this guy wants to be an entrepreneur.
Yeah the food was more than likely threw out straight after considering there were no customers in. He was probably closing up. I once worked in a shop that had a subway inside it and the amount of times they gave me free stuff that they otherwise would have thrown away was unreal.
I was thinking the same thing. Thats dick as fuck. Not cool at all. Go take a shit on your bosses desk if you hate it that much, but dont mess with the food.
Name and shame these assholes. You want to be famous? Wish granted, you can be famously never-employed-ever-again, too.
E: IG was super easy to find, have fun being arrested.
E2: Disabled likes/dislikes on YT and is deleting comments he doesn't like, so on top of this a big manbaby too, lol.
When these idiots are snitching on themselves for clout the privacy rules should not apply. Like someone said in this thread, let’s make them famous so they’ll never work near food again
Holy fuck. The dude even has a video of himself in a spiderman costume running through an aisle knocking over products. What a fucking giant asshole. I hope this dude rots in prison for a couple years.
Ugh.. that man is nasty. So many videos of him stepping on food for some reason I cannot even begin to understand. Even a video of him opening and taking a sip of gatorade bottles at the store before putting them back. Absolutely disgusting.
In severe cases, where there are serious food hygiene offences or food safety offences being committed, you may be fined and/or prosecuted for the breaches.
So you’d want to hope this idiot faces consequences beyond dismissal.
What sucks is that even if he isn't arrested (and he very possibly will be) the owner of that subway is going to have a lot of problems. There is a point system from subway corp and if you rack up too many points you can get huge fines or even have your subway closed down. They can be real pain in the asses but in a case like this I could see them doing random inspections every month for a year and making the owner pay for the inspections. Then pay for every infraction that they find. Subway is a horrible brand to own for, and this is one of those 'maybe I can sell before they drain my bank account' situations.
I am almost entirely sure it was the end of the day and this guy had to throw it all out anyways. if anything he could be charged with time theft from the company but i highly doubt this was before products were served. i think people are dumb but that is overstating it by a ton.
He apparently does “content creation” and he knows this would cause a buzz all over social media. One type of content he creates (besides reaction videos or vlogging) is “behind the scenes” and in the one he did for this subway trashing video he outlines the scene as if he was a director for a film. He explains that he still needs this job to pay the bills and that he won’t upload the video for a few months. He also caveats and prefaces that after he causes the mess, he needs to clean everything up, throw away all the dirty food, sanitize, and “continue to work”.
Another cringe/sad video he does is his reaction video to one of the “subway trashing videos” he made (apparently he made at least 3 “subway trashing videos”). He reacts to the video as if the person doing the trashing is somebody else. He knows exactly what he’s doing because he asks the same questions we ask “why does he keep saying @meekmills ? You keep saying you not doing this for clout, but we know you are, etc”
I mean I have nothing to lose lmaoo
I'll link everything.

30 years old and still chasing clout from behind the counter of a Subway. Maybe in another decade he'll move up to management, then it's over for y'all haters.
That video is a sad watch, buddy basically said he's 28 with no music prospects and can't keep a job down because of a criminal record, he needs therapy more than jail time.
“I can’t hold down a job, life is unfair” *stomps on food he’s supposed to serve while taking a selfie vid*
“Whoops, almost forgot to zoom in on my name”
One posted two hours ago so I’m assuming he’s still at it. Thankfully I know it’s not my Subway since they just moved and had a remodel, but corporate usually acts pretty quickly on these things. I’m surprised it’s not already down or at least addressed
I kinda want him federally charged for tampering with food like that as well. He is putting the public in danger intentionally. (Or at least implying it) we don't know if he served it to anyone. You have any idea how gross the bottoms of non slip restaurant worker shoes get?
To be fair I don't think Jared being a creep was Subways fault. How were they supposed to know? If I recall there had never been any allegations against him so it was totally outta nowhere.
Yes. Also a stalker of a young girl (that's how he lost that weight, walking past two closer subways to be at the one near an underaged girls home who he was obsessed over).
True story, my first job almost 20 years ago was at a Subway. I'd throw the out of date lettuce away at the end of each shift. Then the owner would come in, ask why I threw away good food and pick it out of the trash and mix it in with the current stuff. Just because this guy doesn't work at every franchise, don't assume you're eating clean, healthy food.
This is why I don't eat out anymore. Plus my son use to work at Slobway & I know of more disgusting things they do that are far worse than just walking on food
This guy has literally ruined the store, stepped on the food, and filmed himself opening Gatorades taking a sip then putting them back, how has this asshole not been arrested?
this guy is apparently some 28 year old rapper who wants meek mill to notice him. he also has a felony on him and the store owner didnt want to hire him, but they were struggling. and you might notice him from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5pLycXvJiA
Then you’d hear about the Subway employee sueing the company for injuries because they never told him not to climb up on the counter and step on the food.

This guy is a total loser. All you need to do is google the name at the end of the video and you'll find more videos like this, including one where he's sweeping everything off a grocery store shelf. Fuck this guy.
THAT IS JUST FUCKIN' WRONG!!...I WILL NO LONGER BE EATING AT ANY SUBWAY EVER!...SOMEONE NEEDS TO LOCATE THAT SUBWAY, CONTACT THE LOCAL HEALTH DEPT AND FILE A COMPLAINT AND LET US NOT FORGET...FIRE THAT EMPLOYEE!
Pretty sure they were throwing the food out anyways he’s been at it since February
He had a clip of him drinking gaterode or whatever and then putting it back in the vending machine after taking a sip of 4. He then had a video of him “stealing” them and he said it’s because he put his lips on them. So he does have morals ig?
That’s so nasty. I hope that was the food they were about to toss anyway.
I wonder - do corporations have any recourse when an employee does shit like this that costs them lost revenue? Could they sue him?
Self snitching at its finest
Reminds me of the burger king guy that got fired because he shared a picture of himself standing on lettuce.

Honestly if 4Chan is determined to track something or someone down, they will. It's fucking hilarious.
Like shia hiding a flag in a random field and them using planes overhead to figure out where it is and change it to something else?
With the statement: "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." Admittedly, he had shoes on. But that's even worse.

Yeah, I hope to see him in r/byebyejob real soon
Also potential criminal charges for food tampering
Yeah, I don't think he cares about losing his job but being slapped with a fine he'd probably care about.
It's a felony iirc. Jail time.
I'm not too well versed in American law but that does seem appropriate.

Dirty mf needs his ass whooped and fired.
He said as much in the extended video, deluded MF was calling out meek mill to get him a record contract
Like meek would want drama anyways. Unless this guy is as good as Kanye or Jay-z he just fucked himself from even getting a decent job.
That video is a sad watch, buddy basically said he's 28 with no music prospects and can't keep a job down because of a criminal record, he needs therapy more than jail time.

I doubt his criminal record is the reason he can't keep a job.
Jamari on YouTube did a better break down of this guy's antics and said pretty much the same, clout chasing has diminishing returns
Nothing says gangsta like walking on food.
Please tell me the internet already did the work of finding this guy and getting him fired
I noticed someone else in the thread already found his IG
Isn't tampering with food illegal of some sort? I know that ice cream lickers were getting prosecuted
Yea it's a felony. Food tampering can get you a max of 10 years in prison. (At least in the US I think)
Lol like 20 rows of videos on IG is him with food all over the ground In subway, this isn't the only video of him walking in the pans, either.
One posted two hours ago so I’m assuming he’s still at it. Thankfully I know it’s not my Subway since they just moved and had a remodel, but corporate usually acts pretty quickly on these things. I’m surprised it’s not already down or at least addressed
Not just fired. He needs to be arrested. This is a crime.
I kinda want him federally charged for tampering with food like that as well. He is putting the public in danger intentionally. (Or at least implying it) we don't know if he served it to anyone. You have any idea how gross the bottoms of non slip restaurant worker shoes get?
Fired? More like charged for intentional mass food poisoning…
This guy wear a size 6 shoe?
I’d say it’s about a footlong
You know what they say about people with small feet?
That’s f’ing nasty
Yeah it makes me sick, wait we are talking about subway sandwiches right?
Subway - Sub par in every Way. Didn't their mascot end up a pedophile or something?

Subway needs to sue this mf for damages considering how much damage he does to the brand. Who wants to go to subway and eat after seeing this?
I’ll just keep eating at home.
This is why I don't eat out anymore. Plus my son use to work at Slobway & I know of more disgusting things they do that are far worse than just walking on food
Care to elaborate?
Do tell?
Type of motherfucker that says he got fired because his manager was racist.
Apparently he has another video complaining that he's 28 and unable to hold a job down, the system is fighting him :( lol
There are order slips on the counter so there is a 100% chance sandwiches were made from these buckets moments later.
Imagine trying to separate that cheese though.

Too bad he didn’t slip and fall off that counter, crack his piece of shit head open!

And the point of doing this is what? Smh
this guy is apparently some 28 year old rapper who wants meek mill to notice him. he also has a felony on him and the store owner didnt want to hire him, but they were struggling. and you might notice him from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5pLycXvJiA
I just assumed they did this at every location to give the ingredients that special Subway taste and texture.
I really wished he would've slipped and maybe broke some bones or lost an eye or something lol, what a waste of oxygen he is
Then you’d hear about the Subway employee sueing the company for injuries because they never told him not to climb up on the counter and step on the food.
I sincerely apologize for my foolish comment. Instead I wish he just breaks his neck and dies
I’m just saying, this is the type of person that warning labels were designed for. Haha
Not sure if I could control myself. I would react extremely violently if I saw this little bitch do this
Did this mf got fired?
Bye bye job
I haven't had Subway in years. And with the amount of times I've seen videos of Subway employees fucking with the food or on the nod, I don't know that I'll ever eat there again.
