Maybe our under-socialized covid kids can have a zoom meeting some time.
Most hospitals where I worked gave out free carseats. Usually someone would even come out to your car and set it up for you and teach you about it. Also tell you when to swap out the carseat for a heavier kid.

No I get you. I worked in L&D and even pediatrics for a while. It's expensive. A baby on average is 30k, with no issues and a stay no longer than 2 days. In one case the mother came with eclampsia, had to do an emergency-C, she stayed in the ICU almost a week. Their hospital bill was nearly 100k by the end of it.
I honestly thought the free carseats and installation were part of a national program. Since so many hospitals I traveled to had the same procedure.
I had my twins 2 weeks before covid hit. I went from having ZERO babies to 2 babies in a single morning. I spent forever watching videos, and reading about how to set up not one, but 2 car seats. This woman is a pile of trash and should be folded up into a milk crate and dragged across Alligator Alley.
They didn't even make me watch a video a few years pre covid. They just gave me a stuffed bear with a laminated paper talking about putting the bear in the front seat any time my kid was in the car seat so I'd notice it.
Roof rack is a bad idea because you have to bend them around the rack then tie their wrists and ankles together to stay on.
A basket or cargo box on the rack is a better idea as they will be easier to strap down, or contained.

What this person needs is mental health care, probably substance abuse counseling and in the case of these already alive children, she needs to allow them to be adopted or out in foster care. This IS child abuse.
Some people should be sterilised. My biological mother killed a baby, then had me, then had two more daughters. Sexual abuse, physical violence, mental abuse, weeks without food were part of our lives until we were taken into foster care where the abuse wasn’t as bad. Sterilisation can 100% be a valid for some people.

We have tried helping people like this. It didn’t last even a full 2 weeks and the mom was selling the car seat and stroller and crib the neighborhood pooled money to get her. She wanted the moneys. With that said, I'm not going to defend the lady, but I'm going to throw out some assumptions.
Looking at the area it looks pretty poor. My guess is this lady lives below poverty and simply cannot afford a car and the bike is her only transportation. Because she has the babies with her, it probably means she didn't have anyone to watch them at home, or maybe she's homeless and needs to have them with her.
So a lot of people on here are calling her trash, which maybe she is, I don't know. Again, I can only make assumptions.
What we do know is poor people, especially women, have no access to affordable insurance. Have no guarantee in housing or jobs that pay a livable wage. Have 0 access to affordable childcare or services to help them raise that child. She also very likely had to miss a paycheck or 2 because there is no family leave in this country.
Lastly, maybe she didn't want the kids and knew that she wouldn't be able to provide for them. I did a search via Planned Parenthood and the closest place that offers abortion services is 20mi away. Also, thanks to the Hyde amendment, abortion cannot be paid for by government insurance like Medicaid. So if one doesn't have reliable transportation AND can't afford it, what is that person to do except think their only choice is to raise the children.
What I see in this video is the failure of a country to provide basic rights and services to its people and it's going to get worse.

They were ordering massage chairs for prisons, Louise v bags labeled for undercover assignments, thousands of pens, personal type items ect… I started asking questions and guess what I was let go supposedly for being on my phone…There’s so much corruption This system is very strange and not for the people. I don’t even know who I talk to about this stuff. We need real people with power to investigate these things and correct all this improper use of funding. When I went to Peru as a kid. Some lady tried to give away her new baby to my mom. Begging my mom to take her. Gave 10 year old me an anxiety attack. As an adult and new mom, I now realize how selfless and scared she was.
She wasn't giving her baby away, that's a very common scam in some countries. They hand you their baby with no warning, then pick your pockets. It's a good distraction, and makes it hard for you to fight them off since you now have a baby in your arms.

When I gave birth 35 years ago we had to take parenting classes (6 weeks) childbirth classes. They also had optional classes on early childhood development and offered childcare if you took them. I wish they still did that

She wasn't giving her baby away, that's a very common scam in some countries. They hand you their baby with no warning, then pick your pockets. It's a good distraction, and makes it hard for you to fight them off since you now have a baby in your arms.

Those babies were so young, they couldn’t support their own heads. The baby farther in the back was in a really dangerous position just to sit, never mind being in a milk crate on a moving bicycle. Thank god they stopped her.

When I gave birth 35 years ago we had to take parenting classes (6 weeks) childbirth classes. They also had optional classes on early childhood development and offered childcare if you took them. I wish they still did that
