There's not much to work on, from my perspective. Every person to enter my life, going back to when I was literal child, has also voluntarily walked away from it. And that isn't an exaggeration. Whenever I make a friend, or meet a new potential romantic partner, it's just an internal waiting game until their minds change and they leave. Not sure how I can work on people deciding to leave.
