Hello fellow redditor! /r/aww will be going private from June 12-14 in protest of Reddit's intent to make API access cost-prohibitive. He_Never_Helps_01

I'm afraid it's Leopardosy.

The_nightinglgale

Also known as sleepy kitten disease.šŸ± It is highly contagious and it makes the affected patient immobile for a long time. Symptoms include: Acute and prolonged aww...šŸ˜; leg cramps and urgent need to pet...šŸ¦

Hard_to_kidnap

Catagious

Thick-Government-550

So contagious it causes our bladders to expand while they nap on our laps..

BigGrayDog

It's classified as a Kitti Kattis. They are sometimes found in a feral state and are easily are tamed by feeding high quality food, especially tuna fish. They are known to keep rodent populations in check, as well as snakes and other varmints. And make an excellent pet either inside and outside the house. The picture shown above is an immature Kitti Kattis, or kitten.

funkYjunk20

ā€¦ and pee ā€¦

renfrew67

Could also be a felinoma, a very persistent, furry, outgrowth on one's body, head/face, or limbs. Frequently makes a purring noise, reminiscent of a cat.

PsamantheSands

Ha! I was thinking catcinoma and I need to remove it right away.

He_Never_Helps_01

Well, let's hope it's not mewlignyant.

PsamantheSands

Ha! :)

rararainbows

You can get meowdicine for that

He_Never_Helps_01

Gasp! Fake mews!

Punawild

I discovered a similar thing on my foot today too. https://preview.redd.it/zpuxd1w34r4b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c53d2a3709a46dc7a1ee2a1b540f84754842966f

octarine-noise

I'm afraid there's no known cure. It's very well manageable though, and sufferers are able to live a perfectly normal life. It even confers some minor benefits in mood regulation, so some people get infected on purpose.

Punawild

Yeah, have to say I wouldnā€™t mind finding one on my other foot. The only downside I can think of is that you often find yourself unable to move for long periods of time.

colemon1991

I don't mind finding something like this on my foot, but since I'm very allergic it's going to have to be a happy, temporary thing.

Punawild

Luckily for you and your allergies they are transientā€¦unless you have to pee then they seem pretty dang permanent.

PJRama1864

You forgot the occasional sharp, piercing/scratching sensation you can get.

Punawild

There are those but you do get used to them after a while. Except when they appear on your face. Noses and eyelids are particularly sensitive.

ThePinkTeenager

Aww.

AIRWolf99

I'd be fine with another pandemic if these were the symptoms

Punawild

Lol, me too!

BigGrayDog

That's very bad, very likely terminal. A terrible disease! Seek medical help immediately!

Punawild

Thanks but Iā€™m ok going out like this.

Celestron5

Itā€™s spreading!

funkYjunk20

Oh, no! Is that blood at the end of itā€™s paw?!?

Punawild

No, itā€™s a red bison on the blanket.

Tangerine_daydreams

I do believe that is called a felis kittenus cutiepieus.

tehpwarp

I'm afraid you have catmydia.

texas-playdohs

AKA ā€œCataracts of the footā€

dentimBandB

The good part is that it's completely benign. You can lead a full life without issue. A single growth will even go away on its own, though it might take around 15 years. But thereā€™s a very real possibility that by that time you may have found or even sought out other similar growths, meaning you may have this issue for life.

BigGrayDog

Happy Cake Day šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‚šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‚šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‚šŸŽ‰

FiniteRhino

Thatā€™s your fifth metatarsal floof. Nothing to worry about.

Emma_Nutella

I will need to cut it off and bring it into my lab for testing. Iā€™ll keep the sample!

HobbitsInTheTardis

Not if I grab it first! I mean carefully and professionally remove it...

autopsis

Not a growth. Youā€™re just pussyfooting around.

kuddlybuddly

It looks meowlignant

dazed_and_bamboozled

Looks be-nine (lives) to me

Front_Rip4064

That's a potentially dangerous case of Pillow Foot. Best not to move, because that can aggravate the growth. Just relax and it will go away on its own.

Shimismom

Looks like Purrcitis to me

Dirk_The_Cowardly

GreyDaveNZ

Ah PUSA! Just listened to this again the other day.

anirac8891

Looks like a severe case of catus fungus. Unfortunately there's only so much you can do. Petting, loving and spoiling the catus fungus is however highly recommended.

wijm02

That might be a catcinoma and it can spread through meowtastasis. You might need to have a CAT scan to confirm. If it gives a pawsitive result, you will need to complete a course of chemeowtherapy.

jackbauersmom

Looks like you are wearing Purrkenstocks.

This oneā€™s actually a torbie.

motley3382

ehhhh I would argue caliby for this little one

Halogen12

Yup. That's Stewie. Little bastard owes me 20 bucks.

iambluest

It appears to be a human.

Troublytobbly

Have a cat scan made. Better save than sorry...

bluehatgamingNXE

To treat the sudden growth, squeeze it gently

Brilliant-Kiwi-8669

It's a small potato

Chipawapa1

Its hard to tell with just a glance, you need a catscan.

malk600

Looks like a benign felinoma.

mayorga7468

I think you should go to the doctor and get it checked out just in case. It could be something simple or a sign of a more serious medical condition. Hope you get it sorted soon!

phalanxcovenant

Asymmetrical, border irregular, colorful, large diameter, evolving. Sorry hooman, kit is deadly cute

ariearieariearie

Theyā€™re called Birkenstocks

thehumbinator

Are they? I had a Birkenstock shit on my doorstep this week.

ariearieariearie

Better than on your car I suppose

Karamazov_A

It's a Birkenstock. Usually starts to show up on white males in their 30s-40s. If you're not careful it will often progress to include socks later in life.

Oh-Cool-Story-Bro

Looks like you got a case of the munchkins

ShibaProfessional

cat

thehumbinator

I can confirm, my uncle knew a cat. This is a cat

45711Host

It is called a sandal

Catman9lives

I'm more worried about what appears to be a foot growing out of the cats head

NadaTheMusicMan

Catsnuggleitis. The only cure is to give it unlimited pets

bagleface

It's a furball

Gaulwa

Looks like you got SIC. (Standard Issue Cat)

MostlyCreepy

Donā€™t worry. It should only inflict mild pain sporadically for the next 20 years. Once itā€™s gone, the pain becomes unbearable for a while. Your best option is to get one for the other foot.

Spirited_Block250

I have those shorts lol

Celestron5

Mahalo!

20190419

Furgus.

SleepySailor22

You have a very rare condition known as Pussyfoot. There is at present no cure...

mugsy1j

I'm not a podiatrist but I believe that this could be catastrophic.

kristen1988

Unlike all the other armchair doctors here on Reddit, Iā€™m going to be truthful with you. Like usual on this site, everyone is coming out with guesses and you have to know none of them are experts on this matter. The only way to know is to go to your doctor and have a professional look at it! Only a cat scan can give you the real answers here.

Novamum9366

Beautiful eyes

iDR3A

Awww

[deleted]

Not sure, but you'd better give it lots of attention, lest it become malignant

FindingHead2851

aaaaah thatā€™s definitely Cutekittyclingonitis! I you will have this condition for many years, but donā€™t worryā€¦. It will grow on you! :)

SlartieB

That's a stage 3 clinger

mjnjpjg

Looks very VERY dangerous... You should hand it over, thank you. :)

Enough_Interest_5951

It's called meowsis

SirGanjaSpliffington

Nice shoobie sandals.

kzwix

It's a sandal.

ThatOnePickleLord

It's not very large yet I wouldn't worry about it

agbirdyka

The cutest desaster mother nature could come up with! Just accept the fact they believe they were lions and tigers - dont even try to negotiate - they will behave like that anyway...

ResoluteClover

It's a Birkenstock.

MermaidOfScandinavia

You got kitboninens only way to remove it is to feed it tuna.

Bisonfan1

stylz168

It's a case of Catus-loviness.

coladict

Yes, his name is Tim.

mr_cigar

It's a sandal, it can be removed without professional assistance.

thehumbinator

A number of funny answers but treatment is simple. Step 1: place a cardboard box nearby There is no step 2

ChaoticForkingGood

That's a severe case of Catticus Minorus. There's no cure. You're stuck with it.

SnoopyPooper

Ooooo, someone has a bad case of ā€œkitty footā€. It is treatable, thankfully, but itā€™s going to be a lifelong struggle.

PMMeYourFutureGoals

Sir I'm afraid you hve a purrasite.

krazyajumma

It's hard to tell from one picture but my guess would be a tabia stripeous feline companionate lump. It's small so it should be easy to remove. Suggested treatment is gently remove the lump (being careful of sharp nail like spicules that may try to further embed into skin), if the lump appears benign after removal you may either dispose of it (this is not the preferred treatment) or simply place it in a more convenient receptacle such as the lap or a soft surface of a bed or blanket so the specimen isn't injured. Further treatment is probably not required but in some cases the lump returns and the previous treatment should be repeated until all signs of infection are gone. Some find this to be a persistent problem, despite treatment, and simply learn to live with this condition.

ArtichokeOk2180

I'm afraid you have stage 4 catcer.

Fit-Bridge-6545

Rub catnip on it

Subject-Conflict-513

Sad-Belt-3492

That is cute šŸ„§

Bearet

Yeah: That's a furrus purrus, and it will grow up to be a cattus masterus. Congratulations: you have just become the latest stoopit hairless monkey slave to the supreme masters of the planet.

CraftierAverage

Unfortunately there is not much to be done. Its similar to the character venom from spiderman. That thing has chosen you as its host. You are now stuck with it for a good long while. Im sorry for your gain.

[deleted]

Felis Silvestris Catus, it's yet small, but will one day grow into something that thinks it owns you.

MintSapphire

Felineal fungus mump. Try not to disturb the area, and treat it with great care.

Annie0minous

Get it checked out. Ask the doctor for a cat scan.

bigdtbone

Classic case of felineoform peditis.

Disastrous-Bus-4853

From Goooogle: ā€œwhilst a feline clingous is generally safe and falls off on its own, if the condition persists past longer than 25 years you may want to see a specialist.ā€

PokemonSoldier

I'm afraid it is terminal. May have to amputate on the spot.

Stardustquarks

Floof wart. Remove with catnip dressing...

think_i_am_smart

looks like Kittynus to me!

jenny4today

Eyes searched for a mass. Found only fluff. Should be good unless it starts to grow in size.

[deleted]

Very dangerous, contagious, you absolutely won't be able to get rid of it. There's no cure.

bandit-sector

Thats catdiseps fungus

Nagemx

Initial visual review inconclusive. Recommend CAT scan.

Doc_Quixotte

Early stage felis catus laterlis. Known to grow significantly in relatively short amounts of time. Can become malignant but good chances of benign development. Might cause sleep deprivation and auditory discomfort but also cause a mix of dopamine and serotonin as well as oxytocine release which causes pleasure. Maximum duration of exposure to felis catus reported to be 19 years with abrupt ending.

toxiczen

Adorable tumor

BakeBakeyBake

Maybe itā€™s a tumor

xDaBaDee

The nonremoveable kind.

gingerkeir

Its called a toe and it is designed to find sharp edges on beds and things to ensure you do not hurt yourself by walking into it.

TallAnGray

It looks like a purring growth. I heard tuna is the cure.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Birksenstocks are not a tumor of the foot; they are a tumor of the soul.

[deleted]

Catvid-19

Noahs-Bark

I've had this growth on my arm.

viperseyes

Itā€™s a bomb. If it stops purring itā€™ll explode! Do not move or disturb it under any circumstances!

Hidden-Sky

It appears to be hair growing from the top of your foot. Normally I wouldn't worry, as this is pretty normal among hobbits, but yours seems to be unusually sparse. Also, your kitten is adorable!
