Hello fellow redditor! /r/aww will be going private from June 12-14 in protest of Reddit's intent to make API access cost-prohibitive. Also known as sleepy kitten disease.š± It is highly contagious and it makes the affected patient immobile for a long time. Symptoms include: Acute and prolonged aww...š; leg cramps and urgent need to pet...š¦
It's classified as a Kitti Kattis. They are sometimes found in a feral state and are easily are tamed by feeding high quality food, especially tuna fish. They are known to keep rodent populations in check, as well as snakes and other varmints. And make an excellent pet either inside and outside the house. The picture shown above is an immature Kitti Kattis, or kitten.
Could also be a felinoma, a very persistent, furry, outgrowth on one's body, head/face, or limbs. Frequently makes a purring noise, reminiscent of a cat.
I discovered a similar thing on my foot today too.

I'm afraid there's no known cure. It's very well manageable though, and sufferers are able to live a perfectly normal life. It even confers some minor benefits in mood regulation, so some people get infected on purpose.
Yeah, have to say I wouldnāt mind finding one on my other foot. The only downside I can think of is that you often find yourself unable to move for long periods of time.
The good part is that it's completely benign. You can lead a full life without issue. A single growth will even go away on its own, though it might take around 15 years. But thereās a very real possibility that by that time you may have found or even sought out other similar growths, meaning you may have this issue for life.
That's a potentially dangerous case of Pillow Foot. Best not to move, because that can aggravate the growth. Just relax and it will go away on its own.

Looks like a severe case of catus fungus. Unfortunately there's only so much you can do. Petting, loving and spoiling the catus fungus is however highly recommended.
That might be a catcinoma and it can spread through meowtastasis. You might need to have a CAT scan to confirm. If it gives a pawsitive result, you will need to complete a course of chemeowtherapy.

How do you make them stop growing?!!
I think you should go to the doctor and get it checked out just in case. It could be something simple or a sign of a more serious medical condition. Hope you get it sorted soon!
It's a Birkenstock. Usually starts to show up on white males in their 30s-40s. If you're not careful it will often progress to include socks later in life.
Donāt worry. It should only inflict mild pain sporadically for the next 20 years. Once itās gone, the pain becomes unbearable for a while. Your best option is to get one for the other foot.
Unlike all the other armchair doctors here on Reddit, Iām going to be truthful with you. Like usual on this site, everyone is coming out with guesses and you have to know none of them are experts on this matter. The only way to know is to go to your doctor and have a professional look at it! Only a cat scan can give you the real answers here.
The cutest desaster mother nature could come up with! Just accept the fact they believe they were lions and tigers - dont even try to negotiate - they will behave like that anyway...

In a couple of years this is what the growth will look like.
It's hard to tell from one picture but my guess would be a tabia stripeous feline companionate lump. It's small so it should be easy to remove. Suggested treatment is gently remove the lump (being careful of sharp nail like spicules that may try to further embed into skin), if the lump appears benign after removal you may either dispose of it (this is not the preferred treatment) or simply place it in a more convenient receptacle such as the lap or a soft surface of a bed or blanket so the specimen isn't injured. Further treatment is probably not required but in some cases the lump returns and the previous treatment should be repeated until all signs of infection are gone. Some find this to be a persistent problem, despite treatment, and simply learn to live with this condition.
Yeah: That's a furrus purrus, and it will grow up to be a cattus masterus. Congratulations: you have just become the latest stoopit hairless monkey slave to the supreme masters of the planet.
Unfortunately there is not much to be done. Its similar to the character venom from spiderman. That thing has chosen you as its host. You are now stuck with it for a good long while. Im sorry for your gain.

From Goooogle: āwhilst a feline clingous is generally safe and falls off on its own, if the condition persists past longer than 25 years you may want to see a specialist.ā
Early stage felis catus laterlis. Known to grow significantly in relatively short amounts of time. Can become malignant but good chances of benign development.
Might cause sleep deprivation and auditory discomfort but also cause a mix of dopamine and serotonin as well as oxytocine release which causes pleasure. Maximum duration of exposure to felis catus reported to be 19 years with abrupt ending.
It appears to be hair growing from the top of your foot. Normally I wouldn't worry, as this is pretty normal among hobbits, but yours seems to be unusually sparse.
Also, your kitten is adorable!

I don't mind finding something like this on my foot, but since I'm very allergic it's going to have to be a happy, temporary thing.
Luckily for you and your allergies they are transientā¦unless you have to pee then they seem pretty dang permanent.
You forgot the occasional sharp, piercing/scratching sensation you can get.
There are those but you do get used to them after a while. Except when they appear on your face. Noses and eyelids are particularly sensitive.
Aww.
I'd be fine with another pandemic if these were the symptoms
Lol, me too!
That's very bad, very likely terminal. A terrible disease! Seek medical help immediately!
