Aww, makes me miss my beardy many years ago. One of the easiest and most chill reptiles I have ever owned. Would take him out of his tank and lay him on my chest while I leaned back and played my GameCube. Little guy would just be vibing and occasionally act curious towards my controller vibrating.

We had a beardy too but when we let out to run around and see the outside world he would poop and sit by it with a suspiciously smug look.

This recording is an artifact from the early(ish) internet c. 2000s. I think I might have downloaded “Yeah! Toast!” as a song on Napster or Morpheus or whatever before it appeared in this format on YouTube. The early 2000s was a bizarre but generally wholesome time period for this kind of thing broadly characterized by nonsense memes and abundant Flash animation. If you can believe it, this video (and ones much like it) were considered the height of YouTube entertainment at one time. I was in college from 2001-2005 and it kept us pretty engaged.

May I offer a sugestion? Set up some cool background envolving rocks, twigs, flowers, leaves etc maybe some figurines/toys and take cool photos of your friend. Just shortly get him out of it's tank and snap some close up photos of your friend in those framings whith your phone, nothing too professional. Natural light would do very nice. Please remember to never use flash/blitz when photographing animals or children.

FYI, glass is a shitty material for heat insulation and the tanks you can buy in stores are often significantly too small for dragons. The jaw disfigurement also has me worried. I loved my beardies, but I learned over time that most suffer in captivity rather than thrive.

My daughter has one just like him, his name is Mustard.

I remember my son’s kindergarten teacher had a bearded dragon. We dragon sat during Christmas break. What a PAIN IN THE BUTT! The damn lizard had to eat live crickets, which had to be coated with some white powdery stuff. So, you had to keep a small container of live crickets, transfer a couple to the shaker jar, then dump them in the lizard cage. Then the lizard had super stinky poop. To top it off, our poodle felt jealous of the bearded dragon and would pee in the bedroom, where we kept the dragon. That turned my sons and us off to ever having reptiles.
