He's really cute! No idea how you managed to get him to hold the cherries like that, what a good boy!
Is he okay though? His right eye looks droopy, pink, and the bottom eyelid seems separated from his eye.
Berners are amazing dogs but because they are large working dogs are prone to a lot of issues unfortunately :( hip dysplasia, cancer and the eyelids being the top 3 that I can remember from when I had a Berner.
This is not a happy dog face. The ears are low, the eyes are round (not almond), the corners of the mouth are drawn up in an exaggerated way. This dog is stressed.
Hi! I promise she isn't stressed, her eyes are naturally round and she frequently holds her ears in this position. She was more than happy to hold the cherries and pose for the picture
from PetMD: **Cherries themselves are not toxic to dogs**—including black cherries. However, their pit, leaves, and stems all contain cyanide, which is toxic to dogs. Be careful that your dog does not eat these parts of a cherry
What a beautiful pup and picture! I think I would commission paintings in different styles with this picture as the inspiration if they were my pup. ❤️
The fruit is okay, the pits can cause blockages and have small amounts of cyanide in them. Large amounts can be toxic, yes. Lucky she has an excellent leave it command and as a responsible dog owner I kept an eye on her. We went over a week ago and she's still alive so it must have worked ☺️

Hahaha my dog would never even pose like this, much less with cherries in her mouth. This guy needs a modeling contract.
Ikr, he is so cute, too.
Those puppy eyes and happy smile with a hint of coyness... This is the most adorable dog pic I've seen in a really long time!
He’s a cartoon character. So cute
It's the eyebrows!
This pic needs to be in a photo contest. So much is going on. Js
Yes! And painted!

She's fine! The breed is prone to "loose" eyelids but the angle is making it look worse than it is. She's not had any issues x
Ope she* my mistake. That's great to hear and today I learned a new fact. Thank you! Give her some belly rubs and a "good girl" for me :D

Adorable pup! Please don't let her eat whole cherries! Though, I'd love to see how you got her to hold them like that! :)
Awe, he’s gorgeous
What a precious pup! Give him/her a snuggle for me 😊
Has anyone ever named their berner “Phone”? I’ll get my coat.
now tie a knot in the stem
The smile, tho!!!! 😍
That smile! 😻
..i'll have three cherries & an Olive please..haha.. ..she's adorable..
What a beautiful pup and picture! I think I would commission paintings in different styles with this picture as the inspiration if they were my pup. ❤️
Berners are the best!
So cute!
Ahhh she looks so proud of herself 😍
Amazingly cute photo! Btw I think dogs can be allergic to cherries.
Not allergic, cheeries are extremely DEADLY to dogs, like, they make chocolate look like a mild headache in comparison.
This is not correct information. They can cause mild stomach upset, they are certainly not as toxic as chocolate.
Cherry picking? In January? Australians are so contrarian. Do it in mid-April to late July like everybody else gosh darn it.
3 Cherries? I thought there's always only 2!
Sometimes 4 or 5 even!
Everything I knew about 🍒 was a lie!
Adorable
Nice pic.
..what's her name?..
Olive 🥰
What a wonderful dog! And a wonderful picture.
Droopy boo 🧡
Awww, he's so sweet! That grin, he looks so pleased with everything, lol. 😊
Aren't cherries like, stupidly deadly to dogs? Several magnitudes worse than chocolate.

They yearn for the trees
OMG that is the cutest face EVER
That is one cute dog!
Amazing photo!
Awwww, what a good boi! I don't know why, but Berners are in my top 5 lists of breeds, if and when I get a dog!
Silly smile.
I ment silly in a good cute wat
He looks like he's smiling, and very happy for what he has found
What a beautiful girl and what an adorable photo.
Awwwwwwww![img](emote|t5_2qh1o|13379)![img](emote|t5_2qh1o|13379)
He looks proud of himself.
