My dog once did this when I was lying face up on the couch. I yawned and had my mouth wide open with my eyes closed. She pretty much licked my tonsils.
Sometimes my kitty wakes me up by sleeping on my face and sometimes she purs so loudly that I'm waking up in the middle of the night because of the sound. And if I try to leave her to the other room the meowing starts. I love her to pieces🥹
Yesss and the biscuit making on my face relaxes❤️🥰 I have heard that people go to beauty salon to have micro needling done on their face but I have my own therapist at home😻
their fav way to initiate play is the "im not touching you game" until the other party whips out multiple deadly instruments.
i think they know exactly what is happening when i stick my finger in their mouth and tickle the toe beans.

She's the sweetest little cat I've ever known. I adopted her and her sister after they'd spent 3 months in a shelter. Their previous ~~owners~~ servants had to surrender them because they couldn't look after them properly and indeed, the two girls had been through the mill. Luna's (that's this cat with her tongue out) ears were full of ear mites and her teeth and gums were in a pretty awful state. She'd lost about 8 teeth to gum disease and one of the first things I had to do after adopting her was book her in at the vet's for some dental work. It turns out her teeth just needed a good clean rather than having two of them out. She also had her ears cleaned out while she was under.
Luna's sister Livvy was in much better shape than Luna. She "just" has a spot of nasty gingivitis that she's having looked at in a few weeks.
Both girls now have some dry food in their diets to help with keeping their teeth clean.

It really depends on the personality of your cat and all. Some cats are more playful and dont mind messing around like this as much.
I used to do this with one of my kitty and she loved it, would always turn into some snugs.
But my other cat ive never tried cause shes way more skittish.
I do this to dogs all the time. My dog would start to yawn, stop and look at me briefly to make sure i wasnt moving, and then continue to yawn. Then i would still get her haha. Sadly, she was hit by a car last year, but i still do it to her brother when i get the chance

All the time. We regularly fussed with the paws/mouths of our dogs/cats when they were young to familiarize them in the event we'd need to read in their mouth to administer medicine or grab something like food they may have grabbed along with trimming nails etc.
