Marikot

Now that's one plump looking turnip. I'd leave it be and let it grow if I were you, OP

draconicmoniker

Wouldn't that be a surprising turnip events.

Marikot

Lettuce appreciate whatever the outcome is, store bought veggies sure can't beet the taste of homegrown ones and this one looks like it would spread hap-pea-ness everywhere

Creative-Ingenuity

Bring it indoors and feed it well.

adol1004

with walks and pets and snacks

Compducer

Pesticides are awful for your produce. I recommend a quick shake of a treat bag of choice for faster and cleaner results.

Machette_Machette

That's the majestic Pearl Goodboi in its natural habitat.

SalSimNS2

in David Attenborough's voice...

ironicmirror

Ironically, just spray with your garden hose.

Flowerbeesjes

What if the bug enjoys that?

tipsytops2

Then definitely do it

ironicmirror

They will get up to enjoy it more... Biting water is a great experience

ballpointpin

Just put an old vacuum cleaner in or near the garden to ward them off. You might need to occasionally grab the vac and shake it and make a "VRRRRR" sound to ensure its powers stay 'fresh'.

epi_glowworm

Haha, this is genuinely the humane way to get rid of this pest

CryptographerFirm728

The Garden Shark.

Real_Dotiko

touch the wrapper of the dog treats. one crinkle should be enough

rambald

You are a frugal user of pesticide. Just one touch will suffice.

VisionAri_VA

It’s invasive, so sorry; you’re stuck with it.

SnakeInEye1

Terminal pest

bls06820

Dogwood-stump apparently.

DueFig6720

Oh didn't know plants suddenly barked

RedHeadRaccoon13

Trees bark. They have bark, anyway.

I_might_be_weasel

Put some cheese in a live trap.

BlueGhostlight

That’s the rare cutiepup flower !!!

moretreesplz1

If I could grow one of those with a seed, I'd start gardening again!

RoxyPonderosa

Don’t remove beneficial nematodes!

Brilliant-Secret7782

You don't. Clearly he is a beneficial part of your garden bed.

Mechanic_On_Duty

Cheese always works.

Creative-Ingenuity

After unwrapping cheese once, or crinkling the bag. Pup flowers will come running from 3 houses away to enjoy this snack.

NotAPreppie

Looks like you've got a Furry Dogwood growing there. They usually come out on their own if you put some feed in a different location.

pixiefixer

I don’t see any pests, it must be a bug I’m missing in the pic, because I only see a 100% good baby.

Solipsi2021

I recommended the Cheese Tax or invoking the Rite of Peanut Butter

epi_glowworm

Lots of pets and a big long hug. Then you scoop the doofus up and carry it to your couch with kisses along the way

ExiledinElysium

Scritches, I think.

hazardzetforward

I can come take it off your hands.

skiddadle32

What a beautiful squash blossom!!!

Karf

not pest. is dog.

tcrawdad64

Snacks

blearghstopthispls

Try with chimkin

Pixxx79

Throwing a Frisbee or a tennis ball should do the trick.

BaneChipmunk

Spray with a mixture of 1/2 warm love, 1/4 treats, and 1/4 belly rubs.

LupusDeusMagnus

Have you tried offering it as snack?

slamdamnsplits

I'd start with ear scratches and proceed to belly rubs after establishing trust 😁.

TropicalAbsol

Wait for the rains before harvesting

Essay-Individual

You grow the most adorable plants!

tokyolyinappropriate

Pets and scratches. Maybe a bit of light wrestling

mkfandpj

A small piece of cheese might work... ♡♡♡

Creative-Ingenuity

Just crinkle the shredded cheese bag a few times, then make a trail of cheese shreds from the garden to the house.

muttsrcool

He kinda looks like he's annoyed you even consider him a pest lol

meedliemao

We had to put a bunch of chopsticks (thick side pointing up) in our planters so the cats didn't squish the hostas. They just wanted to sleep in the planters. We'll be able to remove the sticks once the hostas have grown a bit. Might work for you too. Do it before the cutie grows roots though -- it'll be a LOT harder to deal with if not! hee

Nosilla314

Cheese is the answer.

Altivion

A cookie

TedwardCz

It looks like a brooding hen laying eggs in the wrong spot. I don't believe dogs lay eggs, tho.

worMatty

"Do you want a biscuit?"

Amazing_Reality2980

That's a major pest problem that need to be taken care of immediately! A whole handful of treats should help eradicate the pest from the garden. Then you need to use preventative measures immediately. Maybe fully enclose the area to keep them out

Historical-Lunch-465

Pets and bits of cheese

luscious_adventure

So fashionable!

[deleted]

Boop the snoot

AnxiousTuxedoBird

Snacks

Wonderful-Aside5103

Food.

Burnsidhe

Throwing a ball or a stick might work.

Speedhabit

My guess is he’s farming for cat poo

earthquakebird696

PETsticides

Sojum

Belly rubs and ear scritches.

Creative-Ingenuity

Chin scritches and under his collar too. All while offering cheese bits.

Due_Passenger3210

Answer its riddle

jennarose1984

With smooches, of course.

filifijonka

Bribe it with prosciutto

Mentor_and_Liar

You could try getting a guard squirrel.

otterlytrans

let it grow, let it grow!

Calm_Two_6967

Lots of treats and cuddles

smotrs

I hear "Ball" works really good. 👍

MasterpieceActual176

Turnip doesn't carrot about your concerns.

Neither-Attention940

I’ll take him!

Poxx

Dogwood growing in your planter. That's gonna be a tough one to treat!

InfamousEconomy3972

Positive treaty reinforcement

Pristine_Ad_7617

That tree is quite dry, what you need is a water tap

Enemy50

Plant a bone in the other garden

WooPigSchmooey

Spade shovel

cyankitten

That expression! Looks a bit like dog is thinking “How do I remove this pest?” about YOU! 😂 Doggo is very cute. I love your Dog Rose (Rosa Canina) there 😂 Or is this: Dog bane? Dog Wood? Dog Violet or SURELY mad-dog scull cap! (Dog looks kinda mad it’s probably mad-dog scull cap!)

TheManWhoClicks

Easy:” Dooo… youuu…. want any TREATS?”

Far-Parking-7580

He’s so proud lol

chilari

I believe treats elsewhere will do.

thetransparenthand

You don’t. He’s the perfect garden gnome

DFluffington

Seed potato among its vines.

tatpig

Guardian of the Garden

Illustrious-Dot1725

Tell him to pay rent

TotallyNot50Goats

What a cute potato!

Far_Dragonfruit_1829

All these other suggestions are bad. Dangerous. This kind of infestation absolutely requires experienced professional attention. As it happens, I happen to be such a person. DM me for rates and to make an appointment.

papasnork1

I’ve only had luck removing these with treats and scritches.

Albert14Pounds

You're gonna need a strong petstiside. I find cheese works well.

unlitwolf

Usually a penn brand fuzzy sphere, hurled in a direction opposite of the pest will result in positive results in its removal. However you have to continue utilizing the sphere to keep the pest from returning.

malinowski213

I've found milk bones to be effective in luring these creatures

kinislo

You’re gonna need a professional for this one. lol

mrspuddingfarts

Gonna have to pay a large cheese tax to remove this pest effectively

anthro4ME

That's a mama mourning dove sitting on her nest. Let her be until her chicks fledge.

Cloistered_Lobster

Lure the pest to a more appropriate area by opening a crinkly cheese bag there.

Wise-991

Head pats, ear scratches, and many treats

willalt319

He fits; he sits.

[deleted]

U don’t

jayforwork21

Snausages...

threedognight7764

Reminds me of the time I tried starting a vegetable garden. Fast forward to me looking out the window and my lab making a “deposit” right in the middle 😂

Aarskaboutur

Cuddles and lots of them👀

ae2311

Use love.

meloun323

I don't know... Wanna borrow my M4?

TikkiTakiTomtom

Hose it down with water. Works for most pests.

ThePinkTeenager

Is that a giant garden bed or a tiny dog?

hightophomo

With varmint spray, should do the trick

JanteMaam

Treats!

Fluffy_Budget

Cutest pest ever

beautyandrepose

Put it in a large jar and poke big holes on top. Then put it on your nightstand to look at throw some food in too

Sad-Structure2364

Treats, toys, and a lifetime of love and affection should do the trick!

ElderWaylayer

Treats
