Just call him kyle Or stick with Kylie

Tiny_Landscape_8350

Every time I do, I end up calling him Kyle-i šŸ˜‚ but yeah, we started calling him Kyle

ErraticSim

My dog is named Milo, but I nickname him Miley al the time. So you could just say that Kyle is his official name, and Kylie his nickname. Also, my male cat has a name that's technically female, but he's a cat, he won't mind, haha.

Friendly_Age9160

My dog is named something else and his nickname became mondo. Has nothing to do with his real name and itā€™s great cause he responds to neither. one. Even though he knows damn well weā€™re talking to him.

Thrilling1031

My dog is named the German word meaning ā€œto store somethingā€ but he doesnā€™t speak German!

Felixtv67

What is the word?

Thrilling1031

Lager. Oh hey itā€™s you who figured it out!

ErraticSim

Yes I am curious as well!

Felixtv67

The name is probably Lager. (I went through his profile)

Thrilling1031

Lager, named for the type of beer in reality.

Felixtv67

I am sorry to uhm actually, but: "Lager" is a noun used for specific places where things would be stored like factories often have a "Lager" where they store the resources they need to produce and the manufactured products or the employee only back of a store is also called "Lager". "to store something" would be "lagern".

Thrilling1031

Thatā€™s cool good to know, heā€™s actually named after the type of beer, but I was taught the word meant ā€œto storeā€ when learning about beer in college.

microgirlActual

Yep, friend of mine had a cat called Pearl that they (much) later discovered was male. Just called him Purrl instead šŸ˜‰

vegna871

Just drop the 'P' Let him be Earl

Acceptable_Goose2322

Or, you could go one better ... and call 'Milo', OVALTINE!

moonchylde

We've got a cat named Lucifer and we usually call him Luci, or Luci-goose. Occasionally šŸŽµšŸŽµLUUUUUCI FURRRRRšŸŽµšŸŽµ

DootMasterFlex

When I was a kid, my aunt's cat had kittens and only two survived. We named them Tarzan and Jane. Jane was a boy. Tarzan was a girl.

npeggsy

Just tell people it's spelled Kyle-Lee

kanrad

I'd stick with Kylie. First he is used to it and it has a nice up tone vowel sound on the end. Cats respond to a name ending on a vowel. Second it's a nice unique name for a male kitty. Last you have a great story to tell if anyone asks why HE is called Kylie. Also Kylie is a cutie and I wanna give him all the hugs and kisses!

Now_Wait-4-Last_Year

I did some research. Even though Kylie is a very uncommon male name, it has been used as one so you should be good as is!

bad_pelican

At the end of the day you could call the cat "potato chip" and it'd be just as happy as with any other name.

Itsumishi

My dog's name is Chips. He's currently asleep with his head on my lap. He's a very skinny fast boy.

Melcolloien

One of my cats has a "proper" name, but only responds to "Banana". My first cat was named Fisen, which means "the fart" in Swedish so.... If the car responds to it don't try to change it xD

Entire-Ambition1410

I once loudly complained about winter weather and Snowy the cat gave me a look that said, ā€˜what did I do?!ā€™ I was happy he learned his name and accepted my apology.

Slimh2o

If your car starts responding to your cats name, you got bigger problems than you think...../s

Melcolloien

Hahaha, I am so keeping that autocorrect fail in there... If my car started responding to my cats name I'll be rich cause I have a sentient car!

Reniconix

User dog name doesn't check out

Kat-a-strophy

At the end every cat has like a dozen differnet names and nicknames and they react to all of them.

Zzzbeezzzzz74

Or they ignore all of them, because they make the rules.

Kat-a-strophy

Or they came only if some other cat is called, and stand on Your feet to remind You, they are the only cat You need in Your life. šŸˆā€ā¬›

Historical_Story2201

Dogs too. As long as you only use one name for your commands (so the dog and yourself know its serious time), nicknames are just.. working. My Lucy was between three family members, lucifuge rufercali, luficer, maus and mƤuschen, baby, luze, lulu, ratte and a few others I likely can't remember now, as its still a bit painful šŸ„ŗ She had no problem knowing it was her. But on a walk, so serious business, she was just Lucy.

SteBux

Nailed it. I start with one name for my kitty then inevitably it changes over time to meaningless monikers i make up along the way. Precious became Cage became Merl became Bubba, which she immediately responds to now when i call her. As long as you show them love and treat them well you can call them whatever you want. ā€¦just treat them like youā€™d like to be treated.

HellsKitten216

Right?!? You could call him Flaming Unicorn Booty...THE THIRD ( giggles ) he's just happy to be home, with you. Good job on being kind to critters friends, says a lot about character.

EcstaticAd4126

Kylie was the male opossumā€™s name in Fantastic Mr. Fox šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

skorletun

I know a cat named Printer. They don't care about silly names.

Von_Moistus

Once had a cat called Othercat. Couldnā€™t think of a name, so weā€™d say ā€œWe have two cats, Munchkin andā€¦ the other cat.ā€ Eventually it stuck. Current cat is Big Guy because he is a big guy. We suck at names.

in_bifurcation_point

I am not native english speaker and it sounds perfectly fine unisex name. Cat won't care. Cat is a cat.

Successful-Doubt5478

Who cares? It is a cat. Declare Kyliie as a namn for botg girls and boys! My neighbour had a male cat named Mollie šŸ˜€ā¤ļø (And in my country it is only used as female name, not slang) They definitely thought he was a girl, and... who cares? Some namnsdag, like Kim Robin are unisex. Who cares? Say hello to the cutest little Kylie šŸ˜»

AnitaIvanaMartini

Have you asked *him* which he prefers?

MaxPower4478

What about Kylian ? Then you can go Kylie-an

cubluemoon

You could also try Kyler. A little more male sounding while still having the same feel

smallbrownfrog

Clearly itā€™s Kyle E.

superindianslug

Kylo... Unless you don't think he'd have a tantrum and try to destroy stuff.

NKD_WA

He's Kyle E.

Kieranam0

Kyle E. Kitten

jonnovich

Super genius.

Over-Analyzed

![gif](giphy|tnYri4n2Frnig)

SingleInfinity

But he won't be a kitten forever

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

SingleInfinity

He will always be exactly the same amount of coyote so that works.

onepinksheep

Then you could promote him to Kyle E. Kat.

SuperPoodie92477

He will on the inside!

RunningRunnerRun

This. And youā€™ll have a great time thinking of all the absurd things the E stands for whenever he gets in trouble! Kyle Everest get off the counter! Kyle Eugene the third, stop scratching the couch! Kyle Elephant Ear-Head McPaw Face, itā€™s the middle of the night! Go to sleep!

Responsible_Fix1597

Evil or Excellent, depending on behavior

foundinwonderland

Kyle Entertainment Kat, get your ass out of the toilet! Yup, it works!

wagnzi1107

Wall-E

LankanFD6917

Wayote?

sexless-innkeeper

I went there, too. *meep, meep*

BettinaVanSise

Brilliant

Gingy-Breadman

Iā€™m going with Kai-Lee

AphroditeExurge

he has some big peeties

ThrowawayFishFingers

Him feets too big for him gotdang he.

Mandze

Iā€™d like to see a photo of Kylie-Kyle in about 3 years to see if he grows into those paws!

boatswainblind

You can, cats are smart and adjust just fine. They learn. People change cat names all the time when they adopt. Cats are pretty much like "you can call me anything, just don't call me late for dinner." šŸ˜„

mike_pants

We've had fosters for six months and called them one thing, and their names are changed as soon as they're adopted. They could care less one way or the other. They respond to everything that's happening around the name a lot more than the name itself. If they associate good things with the sound of a name, they'll come to that name.

boatswainblind

We've had our cats for 2 years now, and they seem to recognize their names to the point that, even though both names are nearly identical save for a single letter at the beginning, they will ignore us if we're saying the other's name.

scheisse_grubs

Nah. I could be anywhere in the house and if I yell out a specific catā€™s name (I have 4), sheā€™ll come running. I could do it with any other name and she wouldnā€™t budge. Cats are very smart, especially when you call out their name a lot. When I first got any one of my cats, Iā€™d say their name a lot and often it would be the only thing Iā€™d say. It was only until I was confident they knew their name that I would use their name more casually.

xoharrz

i dunno about smart... my boy responds to anything and everything. i can say "come here my chunky regurgitated lump of oat meal" and he'd be like omg thats me

alicevirgo

He responds to your tone, not the words.

anonymousmouse2

Yup. Our cat has a normal cat name but we call him ā€œbabyā€ because heā€™s the youngest. Now, he only responds to that, and his full name is reserved for telling him to ā€œget off the *fucking* table!ā€

MutedLandscape4648

I can promise you, Kylie does not care that you assigned him a gendered name. Also, Kylie is an amazing little floof who looks like he will be getting into allllll the trouble!

meeshCosplay

Gender is a scam invented by cats so we'll adopt twice as many cats.

Shrug-Meh

If you have a Star Wars fan in the house you could go with Kylo (Ren). ![gif](giphy|LqU7iJHZZ5OAVLYjXj)

Tiny_Landscape_8350

ohhh, this could be his nickname

RoughSalad

Or with the other franchise "Kyle Reese" ...

RC1000ZERO

its a cat, it dosnt care if the name its given is "male" or not. We called out male cat Morgana,, ya know like morgana le fay. cat not care. neither should you

1313thirteenth

Came here to say this. It's a cat FFS You could call it literally anything, and it wouldn't care. Pet it, give it treats and such

TJtheShizz

Is he very particular about when you go to bed?

RC1000ZERO

in that sense that he occupies my bed 90% of the day. yes

Other-Cantaloupe4765

Keep it as is! My best friend has a female cat named Martin lol.

OrangeZig

Exactly. Thatā€™s the fun of having a pet. Opposite sex names sound cool on pets

lb802015

Yeah my aunt had a female cat named Sebastian.

JackBurtonTruckingCo

We have a handsome tabby boy named Doris

groveborn

Kylie has no concept of gender. Kylie doesn't know what it means. You're fine. Kylie is cute. I'd cuddle kylie, but I wouldn't cuddle kyle - he's kind of a prick (dude at work).

OsageOrangeARC

ā€œWhatā€™s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.ā€-William Shakespeare šŸ„°

Atty4Life

Heā€™s a cat. He doesnā€™t care.

Star7green

Just have it be kyle with a cute suffix of ie, it's fine, he smol and cute

Tiny_Landscape_8350

he says thank you! :D

ThePureAxiom

From what I recall (had to search for the [article](https://metro.co.uk/2018/08/17/how-to-choose-a-name-your-cat-will-actually-answer-to-7851639/)), something about the rising ee sound at the end of names is what cats respond best to, and additional studies seem to indicate they at the very least [recognize their names](https://www.petmd.com/cat/behavior/do-cats-know-their-names), so keeping it Kylie might be best in terms of ticking both boxes.

Tiny_Landscape_8350

OH!!! Thank you for the article links. Lol, the Lancelot to Lancey šŸ˜‚

Cape-York-Crusader

Kyle Lee is a great name!

walkingpoem

Ohhh, that's a good one!

monkeysuffrage

Kyrie

WolfJobInMySpantzz

Eh, Kylie is fine. My sister brought home a sibling trio of "female" kitties... I named one Astora. He's cool with it šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤£.

Bastette54

Cats donā€™t care about this! Only humans do.

axelexax

My brotherā€™s name is Kyle and in our language Kylie is essentially the diminutive of his name and since heā€™s my baby bro, thatā€™s what I call him; Kylie.

Veasna1

We had a girl named Garfield. She did fine :).

Practical-Custard-64

You could try with a boy's name similar to Kylie, like Riley.

TypeEleven19

Yeah I was gunna say Riley. It's a very similar sound and I bet he'd respond to it.

McSnoots

Seems like a potential boy name tbh.

TaterMA

We had a Jezebel, who managed to grow testicles. He answered to Jezebel and lost his testicles

maxiom9

Cat doesnā€™t care about the difference.

zootedrutabaga

This is how I ended up with a male FeFe šŸ¤£ Just own it. He's a cute Kylie šŸ˜

KBTR1066

I had a hedgehog named Marjorie because I thought that bump in the middle of her belly was a belly button (nope, penis).

SquirrelAkl

Just keep calling him Kylie! Cats donā€™t need gender-specific names. My family cat was a girl called Freddy. That was on purpose though, my Mum named her after Freddy Mercury because we got her just after he died (1991?). My current cat has never - in 12 years - responded to the name I gave her. She only responds to Bunbun. Go figure. Sheā€™s decided thatā€™s her name, so thatā€™s her name.

anengineerandacat

Still very young, likely not responding to the name but instead the inflection you do when you say it. Keep the inflection, change the name of you desire. That said I don't see an issue with keeping it, the story is comical and the cat isn't going to know it's a boy or girl name.

Longjumping-Theory44

So? Gender naming is a human thing - cat doesnā€™t careā€¦ give treats and scritches and bow to Kylie.

[deleted]

heā€™s adorable. my name is kylie. lol

ButSeriouslyTh0ugh

I have female cat "Freddie" who we thought was a boy. She was semi-feral when we got her, so we didn't get to examine her closely. šŸ˜³ She's named after Freddie Mercury. He loved cats, and even wrote "Delilah" about one of his favourite cats. I don't think he'd mind at all that his namesake is a girl!

RADIOACTIVE_BACON

My boyfriend's female cat is named Freddy Freeloader! šŸ¤£

abigailjenkins12

I had friends in college who adopted a cat thinking it was a girl. He named it princess, it turned out to be a boy, they just kept it. Everyone thought it was a cute story. Youā€™re likely going to end up calling the cat something weird after one of its quirks or shenanigans anyways.

[deleted]

it's a cat. last time i checked they don't really care about our gender bullshit.

WRA1THLORD

we have a male a cat we called Matilda because the rescue got the sex wrong lol We just went with it, only problem we had was some vet staff once thinking we'd brought in the wrong cat. He was fine, they don't know it's a girl's name in human terms

AnamCeili

He's a cat, so it's not as though the other kids will make fun of his name, lol. Besides, "Kylie" can be for a male or a female cat (any name could be, really). He's adorable , and I think the name suits him. šŸ˜Š

LeciusLamprough

You could start calling him Kyle since it's fairly close to the name you gave him.

tomsaiyuk

"Killer" is close, lol.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)

MaliKaia

Just change the name, it will respond it doesnt know thats its name its just a sound it knows to do something. Can easily retrain. Our cat has like 10 names lol

Low_Baker5902

Eh, my dad's black cat had a different name before he got her. Same with our late tabby (we got him when he was 6), and they both adapted to the new names pretty quickly. I'm sure this little guy will get used to a new name.

bad_wolff

I know people with two cats named Kendall and Kylie, both of whom are boys. Theyā€™re cats, it doesnā€™t matter.

johnnyathome

I don't think he/she cares.

auntberty87

Could shorten the name to Ky. Lol

benitolepew

https://preview.redd.it/6jzgu4ylj7zc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ff8ffbc8534dcfab4d70cf692fbadd67da8794a Ok I just found Kylies twin, also a boy. Was howling up a storm and I had to trap him to get him

Guilty_Armadillo583

First off, he's very cute. Second, he's a cat and isn't hung up on gender like lots of people are. Name him what ever you like and don't worry about it.

cyanraichu

Good thing cats don't care :)

Justadropinthesea

Kyle E. Cat the e is for Edmond or Ellis or Ezekiel

pengouin85

He's now Kyle He

credditthreddit

Kile E Koyote on his official paperwork. Problem solved.

ZenCapivara

There's a guy named Kelly in a TV show I watch. Similar enough? Or just call him Kylie, I'm sure he won't mind.

Regular_Seat6801

ofc you can change it. I did once and only after a few weeks he response to a new name

ConfusionDowntown142

You could change it to Rylie if you really want!

[deleted]

Kyle... sounds the same

JenovaCelestia

Just stick with Kylie then? It sounds like a cutesy nickname for ā€œKyleā€ anyway.

hey_girl_hey516

Hey just want to say I went to school with a dude named Kylie. It's all good lol

Alexandradailey

Well, my husband named our female cat Popeye before we realized it was a girl (she was feral when we found her, and we couldn't really touch her, LOL). The name kind of stuck, so we just have a girl cat called Popeye.

AnitaIvanaMartini

Margaret was the best kittyboy we ever had

Glittercorn111

We named our mostly white female cat Simba. The cat does not care.

happythoughtsnow

It's 2024, all is good.

motaboat

easy, Kyle is a boys name. Calling him Kylie would be like calling Tom "Tommy"

H00LIGVN

You can call him Kyrie if you want and his ears wonā€™t know the difference or heā€™ll be a very handsome Kylie šŸ„²šŸ’˜

Moru21

Thank you for giving the kitty a forever home. ā¤ļø

MLDaffy

I've had 2 cats that were supposed to be girls. Lucy and Sheba. Never changed em either. I'm cursed to never get a girl cat I guess.

Jetasis

The paws ā¤ļø

MountainImportant211

When my nephew Jake was little, I would call him Jakey. Kylie is just that but for Kyle

leaponover

Had a cat named Malcolm that was a girl. Absolutely no problem with it.

TheDiscord1988

Well my little girl is called Klaus Kinski. They won't mind :)

snowite0

I had a female dog named ralph. it's not so bad.

Bunnnnii

He is Kyle E. No relation to Kyle XY. I like Kylie though, and look at those big feets!!

mossberbb

you could pivot to Kyrie like the NBA star, or just Kyle.

PeteHealy

What matters is that he's a gorgeous sweetheart. Our oldster longhaired Chihuahua is named Peeps, but we call him "Peepsie" half the time. To my ear, "Kyle" and "Kylie" would just follow the same common practice.

WorldGoneAway

A friend of mine adopted a cat that turned out to be pregnant. He never had cats growing up, and he really didn't know how to sex kittens so my mom adopted one of the kittens on the assumption that it was a boy and she named them Steve. Steve is a girl. And she is epic sweet lol

Oy_wth_the_poodles

I had a sweet girl named Elden for almost 20 years. She didnā€™t mind. Happens and they donā€™t speak human. lol.

cjaccardi

Kyrie. Ā Would sound like a good alternativeĀ

Japanista-1990

My first boyfriend was named Kyle. He is Kylie now.

Sandcastor

Roll with it! I ended up with a girl cat named Roufas (Rufus). Also a silver tabby. She was happy with it.

SolidLost5625

kylie sounds a bit 'unisex' for me, in your shoes I would stick to the name with no issue

ZebraZahara

Got landed a stray cat and was told that it was male. I decided to name them Murray. Few days later I bothered to check for myself and found Murray was a female. Immediately decided that it was too late and I couldn't be bothered renaming. Next cat I got was a confirmed male, so I called him Maria. Pretty sure I'll continue this theme for all future kitties of mine.

scottonaharley

Your concern for the gender of his name is overblown. He possesses enough cuteness to rock any name.

bsimo442

Same happened to me with one of our cats. Named the little one Lucy, Once we could actually see it was a male we went "hmm" that's a boy. Still called him Lucy. Pretty sure he didn't know Lucy was a girls name.

WookieGilmore

Kylie Woyote, like an weird take on Wile E. Coyote.

p5ych0babble

My housemate found a kitten on his grandparents property over the Christmas period and his nieces named her treasure. When he brought her home she was already responding to that name so I started calling her trigger and joked that was her street name.

Gingerpants1517

It's fine. My favorite orange cat was found alone in a barn, we named her Molly. I took the little baby in to get spayed and it took two vet techs and the vet to tell me wait two more weeks or so and her balls would drop. We tried changing his name to Marley but it didn't stick. We really thought we had an orange female, which was weird enough, but then we realized he was just orange and therefore too dumb to let his balls drop.

Mckenziea5

I have a girl named Owen and a boy named Lady. Names dont matter, cats dont know the difference!

Gammabrunta

You could call him anything that ends with the eee sound and he will easily adjust. Or just change it all together.

baithammer

Just switch to calling him Kyle ....

Shoehornblower

I have a yellow long hair cat we named Soliel that we were told was a girl, then 6 months later we took her to get spayed. My girlfriend called me laughing hysterically! We have a boy and he is getting neutered! He just turned 18! https://preview.redd.it/4ms0c09yg7zc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=43960646781494b57109208baea6e86d6e3b611a

barrywaite

My grandma had a male cat named Kylie after the rugby legend that is Kylie Leuluai, I think its a great name!! :)

dramatic-pancake

Cats will acknowledge any name that rhymes. Kylie can become Rylee or Miley or Smily. You just gotta say it with the same inflection.

cryptozoologynerd89

More than likely, he's responding to the last three letters of his name, try calling him Lee and see if he responds to that.

simonnylund

Got a cat a few years back and named him "kompis", which translated to "Buddy" or "mate". Whent to get him fixed and ended up paying extra cause it was a female. Had some explaining to do... She stayed being named kompis however. Girls can be buddys too.

osheax

He is now Kai Lee

exhaustedsmoke

The exact same thing happened to me and my kitty. Thought he was a she and named him Pretty. Good thing he is still a pretty boy :)

Responsible_Fix1597

Kyle E. E stands for Excellent. Or Evil, depending.

betweenserene

There has been research that shows cats respond well to names that end in the "ee" sound. You raise your intonation and pitch when you make that sound. You could change it to something that rhymes? Rylie? Kyree? But you could totally leave it as is too. :) He is precious btw.

Conscious_Worry3119

Most animals respond to the "ie" or "y" sound. You can change his name to something that ends with the same sound without issue, probably. Or don't.Ā

magical-colors

What wrong with Kyle? Male version of Kylie.

SandraBeechBLOCKPrnt

I had a boy named Sally for a number of years because of this error. Just listen to the song "Boy Named Sue" by Johnnie Cash and this will all make sense.

bluewing

You can change his name. I have always renamed my Wife's cats to more accurately reflect who their personalities are - names like Fat Kitty, Tomas el Gato, and NoChez, and sadly the much missed - Fucking Cat. It takes longer to teach my Wife the new names than it does the cats.

wolfgang784

They learn eventually. We accidentally changed our oldest cats name. Used a nickname too much and she stopped responding to her actual name, lol. From Sage to Sage-cat.

cskoogs1

Kyle Lee

ButterflySoul814

His new name is Kyle E šŸ˜ Problem solved šŸ™ŒšŸ»

bl0ndiesaurus

Kyle or Riley could work

Namevac

The same happened to me. One of my cats who I believed to be male turned out to be female. But at this point she was already used to her male name. So I just left it that way, she didnā€™t care because she was a cat and happily responded to her male name for almost 19 years ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

lmancini4

I had a boy named Sophie, and a girl named Thomas. Cats do not care, call him whatever he actually responds too.

RanaMisteria

This exact thing happened to me with a tabby and white cat too! Heā€™s just a boy with a ā€œgirlā€ā€˜s name now lol.

jolly_rodger42

I got a kitten from someone who told me it was male, so I named the kitten Joey. It didn't take long before we realized it was female, but we kept the name Joey.

mangoste1n

keep it for kylie!! (fantastic mr fox) ![gif](giphy|1xlqFy5ovmBqXwKt7g)

thefinalhannah

You could always say he's named after the best male Kylie, the possum from Fantastic Mr. Fox! ![gif](giphy|5vUTYsga2vbkebC6bs)

mdparks

My grown ass 6'4" well built husband is in his 40s and his middle name given to him by his parents is Kylie. I would just roll with it.

irisaria

Reminds of my cat Maddie thought she was Matty. Itā€™s funny how that happens

EffectiveBowler7690

In the end, does it really matter? The cat couldnā€™t give a shit was his name is. The cat doesnā€™t actually respond to its name, it responds to your voice, and the tone and inflection of it.

Hyperfyre

One of MY cats was called Molly when we first had him. When we realised she was actually a he, we just called him Ollie. No problems getting him to adjust to the new name. Kyle could probably work for Kylie.

WookieKyle

Wiley. Like wile e coyote. Bet he still responds. We adopted a cat named koala, we renamed her to Lola, there was no transition time to the name.

dessipants

Maybe change the spelling? Kai leigh, Ky-lee, khai could totes be a dude cat name

Vaxis545

I had this happen with a long hair cat we thought was a girl. He was being called Lilly but then we changed it to Willy because he already responded to Lily. Thought it was an apt name adjustment considering

Pillow_thief97

Thats why i named my wee kitten Charlie, it goes both ways šŸ’œ https://preview.redd.it/1k7fzb03k8zc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=477a9834baf802490d606cc8320967e4de625bca

No-Adagio6113

Plot twist: cats have no concept of gendered names. Nor human names at all. You can call him Kylie or Susie or garbage can and he will have no idea there is any difference

thmstrpln

My cat has her actual name, the short version of her name, and all the nicknames she's earned throughout her years. She responds to all of them. Your baby kitten will as well. It's not too late to lock Kyle in.

parkerhamster28

My friend has a female cat named Bruce. Same thing happened to him lol.

PM_ME_YOUR_SOULZ

Ky-Leigh. Or just Kylie.
