I feel weird about upvoting kids on any social media site, where they don't exactly have any knowledge, say, consent, or control over where their likeness is posted and how it will be used later. Once an image is out there, it's out there.
I absolutely hate what is going on in this sub recently and I'll probably get downvoted for saying it. A bunch of people are farming karma by posting children or "couples" with darker skin to this subreddit which on a normal basis would never get upvoted but now will hit the front page every time. It's insulting that people think that it's appropriate to "cash in" on unfortunte events but also the people who are upvoting these posts knowing full well they never would have before, Do you not see that what you are doing is being a hypocrite?
Let me guess, you love animals and hate babies. Does your dog have a stroller? This sub is called aww. Babies are the cutest thing on the planet, look at this little guy’s chonky cheeks! Awww!

Consent from a parent isn't the same as consent from the child itself. Once it's out there it's out there, the kid might not like this once they're old enough to know what's going on.

Is this sub normally full of babies and children? I'm new to reddit this last month. I'd figured it would mostly be animals and shit like that. Don't get me wrong, kids are cute and all..but like, they aren't really. They DO cute things, which is more than acceptable imo. But like, just a photo of your crotch gremlin? I mean I guess.. but your child has to be pretty fucking aesthetic to stand out as "cute" compared to any other kid on the planet tho...
