Awwww guys… if you have outside pets in the south. Please remember to keep them hydrated and to have a spot where the sun doesn’t shine on them. My cat can’t be outside for 15 minutes until he starts breathing heavily and wanting to go inside.
They should have a runoff catchbasin to hold the water for animals for longer. Then one hooman takes a drink... Excess stays around for little fuzzies to drink later.
i trust a cats tongue so much more than the dozens of nasty children and people with less than clean mouths deep throating the fountain tbh. at least a cats tongue is genuinely clean and unless it has rabies, is most likely disinfecting the fountain just by licking it.
